If any more tool or armor sets get added, I think the standard progression should be untouched as far as raw power, but the new ones should have quirks to them, while being less powerful. We kinda already see this with leather boots on powdered snow, turtle shell helmet, gold armor for passifying piglins, and to a lesser degree, elytra for flight vs chest plate for protection.
If you want all that in there then go work at Mojang, but as a reminder, they already refuse to make any more dimensions but most of the other things sound great dispite the fact that most of them can be made and found in mod packs.
Hey I just wanted to mention that now with the new like armor cosmetics technically people can actually make like for example multiple civilizations and games like three people on the side three people on that side so people know on who’s their teammate without having wearing the shoe at them with the new armor looks so in reality this is also a good change for those who don’t want to wear like leather red armor for example now you can wear like blue armor instead

if I was mojang, I would add these: - auether dimension but with new intresting ideas, to enter you need the worthy effect that can be obtained using an auether crystal found in nether bastions that gives you the worthy effect for 15min and when the effect ends you get kicked back with a massage like ''we believe you're not worthy'' or like ''it's all beacuse of you'' to make the auether cooler than a portal with glowstone and water bucket plus having it's own boss. - a corruption biome like terraria but rarer, similar to the mushroom biomes in the nether that spreads and new items to destroy the corruption. - adding 3 new end biomes with colors gray, pink & cyan with some end castle structures and tons of new end mobs. - adding the iceoleger, illusioner, shield blazes and ... - removing the ''you can't sleep beacuse there are monsters nearby'' massage and make phantoms more annoying by making them stop us from going to sleep beacuse ... they're phantoms. - adding another dimension named sculk dimension that opens with a special spell book found in some ancient citys and giving the dimension it's own boss with design like warden's house. - new animations for flying with elytra that your camera moves while using it. - finally adding a use for the fletching table. - bringing back the copper golem from the old days. - copper tools (only tools not armor) with power higher than stone, lower than iron. - emerald tools and armor with power higher than diamond, less than netherite. - giving gold tools and armor 2x durability. - beacons made out of better materials give better effects and range beacuse right now a netherite beacon and an iron beacon are the same. - adding new weapons beacuse the last weapon we saw was trident that was added many years ago. - being able to have both channeling and riptide on the same trident. - adding two new types of fortresses with one defensive mode and one made for attacks plus better loot beacuse who cares about the fortress loot it's just trash. - adding bridges matching the timeline beacuse in the timeline as steve our parents lived so that's how structures were made so it makes sense, they made bridges crossing over the mountains. (not a 1 thick dirt or wooden plank bridge) - being able to move chests, furnances and entity blocks using pistons in java. - dispensers being able to place blocks - and ... that's a lot no need to say

I designed my own new block called cracked sculk! You basically put sculk vines on sculk blocks and it has a cool cracked effect
