One thing for sure is true about SB19 is that they embrace their hardship and painful experiences by converting them to an inspirational music to the listener. They even embrace their roots and culture as a Filipino through music. I am happy because they are the first group I stan. One thing that SB19 is unique is that they have the power to change a life of a person. I was once introvert, lazy and "mahina sa klase" but since i stan them and grow into me. I change my perspective in life. I started to double my effort in everything I do to become productive. As of now i am preparing for Board Exam this upcoming November 2023. By the way, I graduated Bachelor of Science in Nursing as Magna Cum Laude. Kudos to SB19 you change my life. I will always remember you guys in my heart and in my mind. ❤

so true. they are an inspiration. As a mom of two college-age sons I truly value hard work and dedication. For now, they don't quite get it why I admire SB19 so much kasi iba naman ang hilig nila. But I think eventually they will realize that the SB19 are good models for any young men (and women) pursuing their dreams.

My family & friends couldnt understand why I am so hooked into SB19, sometimes it saddens me because my convincing power may not be enough, how i wish I can make them appreciate them as well. When I saw what in 2020.. I knew they would make big.. imagine they produced their own song and direct their own mv.. it means they can express their creativity as an artist if only they will be given a bigger budget. Then Tilaluha solidified my belief in them I remember I had wish na sana my mga sponsors nga na makuha sila to help and elevate their craft.. and it happened nga... 6 months palng akong fan ng SB19 but I cannot count how many times I've watched their videos, interviews,guestings,concerts,MVs, showbreaks, etc.repeatedly .I'm 46 at ngaun lng ako nahook s pag stan . To think that my only 3 favorite music artists before were Freddie Mercury, Madonna and Bruno Mars, sila ksi yung standard ko. Yesterday, I just listened again to Nyebe on YT but first time ko nacheck ung Visualizer credits, si Pablo ang creative director, composer and Producer. Wow, grabe yung utak nya,paano nya naiisip lhat ng mga yun. At 1 song palng. This man is really a genius, at grabe ung passion and dedication . They deserved to be recognized in the world.

I bought pictures and magazines of Paul out of my school allowances but hid them from my parents. Now that I am old, I could not believe that I will be addicted with a singer whose name is Paul again (Pablo ). Everyday, I am on my computer watching his videos/blogs. I keep my celebrity obsession from my family, especially my grandkids because they will tease me for sure. I pray that I will live for more yeards so that I can continue following Pablo. Someone on X once said na di na daw kailangan ng ganyan kahabang training kasi talented ang mga pinoy. Kaya na daw yan ng months lang. Sa talent totoo naman,, kakayanin yung makapagperform ng maganda. Pero hindi ang discipline. Hindi tatagal sa labanan ang walang perseverance na nabuild ng years of discipline and training. SB19 did break the “norm” or the convention of OPM industry. The “norm” or nakagawian ng industry like palakasan or clout before you can become mainstream. It is the “negative” norm that SB19 did try to overcome. Instead of palakasan using big talent management or network, it was the fandom who promoted them through social media which is why SB19 has strong media presence even before they become mainstream. But they also retained the “positive” norm like vocal quality in OPM where artists can sing live without relying on backtracking like most pop artists- but not Filipino singers. This part of the industry, SB19 has retained along with innovative approaches like being self-produced and self-managed. This is just one of many explanation as to why SB19 did break the “norm”.
Breaking the norms in SB19 context means they go out of the ordinary. They don’t just dish out “mainstream” songs that we are used to hearing. They go outside the box. Say, What?, for example. The sound and the MV are so different from most and yet it was able to get in the consciousness of the listening public and penetrate the music industry that is so used to “formula” songs we hear on the airwaves. Ken/Felip’s songs are in that way too. SB19 is striving to make the “unfamiliar” popular and accepted. And remarkably so.
