Gonna start trying something with these videos and commenting on the stuff that I noticed could've been improved in my own gameplay throughout the event by the races: BC3: I'm not sure if I would've kept a spot but I should've stopped using mushrooms as soon as I saw the POW to make it around the turn easily and maintain a decent amount of speed going into the last straight. I was passed immediately because I didn't do this. Moo Moo Meadows: With the thundercloud lap 3, I had plenty of space to be more aggressive with the players behind me. I tried continuing to go forward as much as possible but it was more important to try and pass that thundercloud before the second item set to better prepare for the ending section with more mushrooms or a dodge item. Maple Treeway: With that lap 1 interaction, I need to give myself more proper spacing cause I could've easily gone to the right of the FIB and had enough room to keep second place. Instead, I saw myself in the back of the pack and struggling from that point onwards. Additionally, the star usage was rather poor as I would have gained more from using it in the usual spot (after the lap 3 cannon) as people who aren't aiming to dodge anyone will try to slow them down in the wiggler section and the turns following it. N64 Sherbet Land: This one is obvious. I have no reason to be holding my star to try and pixel chain it. I mentioned this in the video as well but for some reason, I thought they would hold shock if they saw me in a star. I shouldn't be using this mindset cause they need to use that shock to have a chance at catching up to the rest of the pack even if multiple people dodge. DS Peach Gardens: The red shell at the end was completely unnecessary on my part. The person who got blued was not my competition at that point and I was leaving myself unprotected from a potential red shell coming from behind me. I'm surprised I didn't get punished for this but I need to be considerate of that in the future in mogis. Dry Dry Ruins: This was a similar case to BC3 where I just didn't slow down early for the triple reds. I have a much higher chance of success this race (or at least maintaining a mid spot) if I yield to those reds and get an item at the last set. That was a major blunder that resulted in my "go forward at all costs" attitude after the first GP. If you guys noticed anything else or have any questions about the stuff that I noticed, feel free to reply to this comment and let me know! After all, I'm still improving as a player and am growing as we continue this series. Thanks for watching (or reading if you made it this far)
on bc3 you chained at the item set at 6:06. i was wondering why you didn't chain at the one item box at the thwomp (the box + thwomp on the right at 6:08). since you ended up getting shocked out of your mega, if you had used it a teensy bit later you would have dodged. i guess you just wanted to use your mega early to ensure you didn't lose it? also damn you got some incredibly bad luck this event. and the insanely laggy room definitely didn't help.
@@pinkflower9165 Whenever I see someone in front of me there, I’m more worried about if they’ll also go for that box. I mainly wanted a guaranteed chain which is why I used it at the set instead of the solo thwomp box. I might have to consider that in the future tho.
I feel like most of these decisions, including you randomly comboing that guy at the end of PG and holding that star on sherbet, we’re made cuz you were just in the raging mindset the whole time. Not blaming you for anything as that was a RIDICULOUS gp, it’s part of the game
Emil is regarded as one of the best competitive players in the world. he backspams when he thinks it’s a good idea, and he uses Mach because he’s been at a high level for a long time and that’s the combo he chose
Stopped at 15:01 to make this comment (Will edit if something happens) but I can definitely see why FFA is kinda dumb sometimes, everyone is so unpredictable no matter where it is, Lounge or just regular MKWii. It’s damn near impossible to predict anything Edit: Ok whoever Target Shocked there is now on the hit list for Emil
Damn, this was the most tragic GP1 I've ever seen - it feels like you pulled the bad luck of all people in the area onto you 😂 Awesome episode as always and very cool to read your thoughts in the comments!🔥

I have never watched a more stressful event holy crap
12:24 The Wiggler is also known as “The Douchebag with a Flower on Top!”
that's one I haven't heard in a long time
The sequence of events on maple had me screaming after GP 1, I was considering playing competitively before this video. Not anymore 💀
Two useful tips from an old MK person, in lounge it's super aggressive it's like backspam everything + Daisy makes you recognizable for revenge

35:07 I literally opened my mouth as I saw that I was baffles, bewildered. Thats insane work. I feel bad for you bro 😂😭
Normal mogi for a Daisy main
Unlucky asf

Damn, this was the most tragic GP1 I've ever seen - it feels like you pulled the bad luck of all people in the area onto you 😂
Awesome episode as always and very cool to read your thoughts in the comments!🔥
if you gave these episodes names, this one would be "red shells, TCs, and bombs"
Omg man this was so hard to see you are cracked but this was too much that luck is just GG that’s the game saying “stop playing today”
Guy who TSd you looks like he got 9th or 10th anyway, what an asshole thing to do to someone who’s already had this kind of day
Hard to know if it was intentional on Emil or not. Maybe he was competing with the other Daisy for a spot. Or he was chaining.
I love a relatable mogi
What that funky doing in the post-race at 3:49 just driving into the corner lol
so glad your title didnt give away this shitstorm of races haha, looking forward to you dominating the next one
Congrats on whatever you just played. Like actual geez man
Dozens of racers decide it all!
I Truly feel your pain 6 races in.😮💨
That TS was toxic... heartbreaking

Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers as you recover from this FFA 🙏🏻

These guys are getting out of their way to make Funky the only choice for mogis
LETS GO EMIL UPLOAD!!!!!
What’s the difference between mmr and lr?
MMR is used to determine which room you get placed in for mogis. LR is used to determine your rank and position on the leaderboard. 😊
unlucky bro
