Scott Steiner making amends with the WWE was truly shocking considering how much he trashed them, especially Triple H, but then again he probably didn't want his nephew Bron Breakker to have a hard time with the company and currently he's the NXT Champion.

Throughout the time Steiner was bad mouthing him HHH always said he saw it as nothing more than good business of Steiner's part. There was a certain segment of the indies who would always book a former WWE star who would do shoots on HHH and Scott was just doing what he had to pay the bills

I doubt it honestly. It just never was very bitter between Vince and Steiner. For all his faults, Vince McMahon never seemed to punish wrestlers for other people's actions unless they were involved. Doubt he'd punish a money maker just for being dude's nephew.

I think one reason (not the only reason) Scott Steiner buried the hatchet with WWE was because he didn't want the animosity to affect his nephew Bron Breakker's career. After all, Bron is currently the NXT Champion and has a bright future on the main roster.

Booker/Batista started as an in-ring feud months after their fight at a SummerSlam promo shoot. Batista was still recovering from his triceps tear in May when they filmed it, and returned in July. When you hear stories of Bubba, it makes sense why most people that work with him dislike him lol. I forget who said it, but it was on one of these podcasts. Bubba acts like it's still the 70s and 80s, in terms of how he treats people.
If I remember right, it was Jim Cornette and Brian Lasts podcasts, one of them. Jim brought up the Dudley Boys and Brian went off on him and JBL. How they used to Bully rookies and push their weight around and act like it's still the 80s when they got into the business in the 90s when things started to lighten up.
If I remember right, Jim admired it, but Brian HATED it lol.

Anything Cornette says or likes you gotta take with a grain of salt. He still believes that wresting should be kayfabe even though the business got exposed in the mid 90s. Doesn’t surprise me that he likes that Bubba is a backstage bully

@@chasekozak7206 true, and I'm not 100% on my recollection anyway. I just vaguely remember the conversation between them lol. But the more you hear of Bubbas antics, the more you dislike the guy.
Batista said on Jerichos podcast that he *HATED* working with the Dudleys when he and Randy were in evolution. Batista tore his tricep, I think it was. Randy hurt his ankle and they were working through the pain and Bubba was just abusing them, yelling at them that they're soft and finish the match. But almost right after Bubba took a simple back bump the wrong way, which is entirely his own fault, and started acting like a diva. Being hard to work with, constantly yelling at them that they're hurting him and just being an asshole lol.
It makes sense why the major difference companies nowadays rarely look his way.

Unpopular opinion, but I kind of agree with Ambrose. Lesnar has had the same formula in his matches for a while now and it's kind of bland watching him jump around and apply the same boring German suplex, F5 routine. Evidenced by his Royal Rumble match with Bobby Lashley which could have been so much better. And as far as Steiner and HHH, this whole thing was around the beginning of HHHs reign of terror where he was pretty much burying everyone (RVD, Steiner, Booker T, Kane). Steiner may have been injured, but HHH at that time wanted to stay on top and he certainly wasn't going to do Steiner any favors and try to make him look good.

Sure it cut his years in the ring shorter but it didn’t end it right then and there.
