I drove to Tofino first time in 1964 in my old beater car. Took 10 hours from Victoria. Stayed 5 days on long beach. We were the only ones there on the beach. we never met another soul on that beach. It was July.

My family moved from Vancouver to Uculelet in 1958 into the 1st shack on the Boardwalk. We were in the 1st car on the 1st road out in 1960 to Port for school years. Just retired back to Nanaimo and waiting to experience my childhood memories again. ❤ Vancouver Island.
@@phoenixclaw456 If you're Canadian, you should not be surprised the winters are incredibly mild in Tofino. By your standards, Tofino is essentially year-round spring!
Heaven on earth. It's a shame that AirBNB and greed has made this place along with Tofino practically inhabitable for regular people as its so difficult to find your own prosperity here.
