That's just how I make my goat's milk soap, it's my most popular especially for those with troubled skin. Men actually seem to like the goat's milk the most too. 💞😊
That's such a beautiful bar of soap 😊. Can you share the dimensions of your mold? And that beautiful cutter? Thanks! And thanks for all your wonderful videos ❤
Hi! I am going to make my first batch of cold processed goats milk soap today! I do have a question about the oils/butters. I currently have on hand shea, kokum and mango butters plus sweet almond oil and coconut oil. Are the butters OK to substitute for the olive, castor and palm oils? Thanks!! I can't wait to try this.
Such a beautiful soap. I also use the powder much more simple and trust me I need simple 😂😂. Question. Does this soap go through a gel phase or do you place it in the fridge after pouring into the mold. I am seeing many videos that conflict other videos when it comes to gel phase and goat milk soap.
The soap came out beautiful. I usually like the lighter colors. Question, is it possible you could make a video on fragrance percentage per the amount of oils being used? I haven’t found anyone explaining the topic and feels so confusing. 😊
@@SunshineSoapandCandleCompany - Sounds good, I figured you would be the perfect person being you are so good with percentages to make the ultimate recipe.
@@jesscardona2335 You don’t need put number if you use this site just put oils and lye concentration and you wil see in the right corner how much fragance oil you need(31 gr is for 1000gr oil)
So just wondering how do know how much titanium dioxide and water to use? Beautiful bars. I am new to this and trying to learn from everyone. Thank you
I use a scant amount of water, just enough to get my TD dispersed. As for how much, it’s really up to you but the manufacturer should have usage rates as a guideline. Also adding too much can cause your soap to accelerate. I really like the one from nurture soap because it’s very concentrated so a little goes a long way.
I love watching your videos, very detailed. I went on Etsy to buy the soap recipe but nothing is there. I would to buy a few please direct me on where to go.
Hi Evita, thank you! This tutorial is available on my Patreon campaign along with hundreds of others. You can access the link to my campaign in the description box of this video. My Etsy store lists bundles of popular recipes but the only soaps I have over there are my sea moss soaps
Hi there, this could be happening for several reasons. It could be your fragrance oil, the temperature of the oils and lye, over blending the batter those are the most likely causes.

Love it!!
I love this! Your video is the only one I found that uses straight powdered milk. Thank you for the video!
Thank you!

Thank you! If I would also want to incorporate fresh honey, when in the process should I do this and how much?
I mix 1 tsp of honey for every 500g of oil into my oils prior to adding my lye solution.
@@sabrinashears thank you!
@@maaikewilhelmina1457 you're welcome! Happy to help.

I wonder if the use of goat milk powder rather than liquid goat milk also helps to make a harder bar.

This soap does not go through a gel phase and I leave it out in room temperature uncovered.
I am so loving these hostile recipes. I made the lotion, bubble bath, face cream, and will be making the soap.
I am so glad!! Thank you!
Looks so pretty!

Thank you! I was just thinking about this because I’ve been getting questions about fragrance content versus fragrance load. I will see if I can.

Use SoapCalc calculator
@@BKV601 - okay but what number do you put in the fragrance box

Beautiful!! And the botanicals set it off!!

The first bar I made was a goat milk bar. It turned out so nice. The bubbles were so nice. I froze my goat milk. 😀
Did they keep their color after a week or so? Mine always starts off a cream color and after a few weeks it darkens dramatically.

Thanks for this vodeo 🙏🏽 How much goat milk powder per pound i have two pound mold so would that be like 3/4 oz
Yes that should work. 😊
What is your appx cost in making this batch?
I made this recipe and did not find it ready to take out of the mold or cut even after 48 hours!
Hi I been trying to make goat milk soap following your recipe but it goes hard very quickly and I don’t know why I wonder if you can help me
Thanks

How would I convert goat milk powder to liquid goat milk and vice versa? Thanks.
If you reconstitute the powder it’s one part powder to 8 parts water
How do you protect your countertops from the lye?
@@karentuffs4266 well I have time counter tops so it doesn’t effect it. But I do cover my countertops with white butcher paper
@@SunshineSoapandCandleCompany what are time counter tops?
@@karentuffs4266 lol, I meant to type “tile” countertops
@@SunshineSoapandCandleCompany oh I should have figured that out lol
