I could listen to you and your mom chat all day long. I hope she comes on for another episode sometime! And now I’m like queuing up TH-cam videos about canning ☺️ This fall I visited my best friend (who lives in Louisville) and we visited steamboat! What a beautiful town ☺️ Thank you for another lovely episode!
Oh my gosh amazing! Hahaha canning has been such a huge part of my life growing up - I’m sure my mom would love to teach you if you are ever in Colorado in September (which is when we are canning like crazy after the harvests)! Let me know when you come to Colorado next! Would love to meet you in real life!!
So special our mum’s, what a great history on your podcast for the future 😊. I love my family items from passed parents so precious. I need to try brioche 🤪. Thanks for sharing your amazing projects new and old 🧶🙏🏻
This was touching. You have a lovely mum, no surprise since you revealed yourself as a lovely woman. Your daughter is born in a wonderful family and I hope you have many more children, because wonderful people are needed in this world
I agree with many others that this episode was great and very touching. Your mom learned all about canning, which is awesome. I need to be near her so she can pass that knowledge and skill to me. Several years ago I started to teach myself canning with a book and I did not. I don't think it is too late to go ahead and get started😊
Love this episode. Your mum is a great role model. Great conversation. Its surprising how people of my generation have a similar growing up experience, no matter what part of the world. Money was scarce. We were heavily into the Barter system so crafts are an important part of who we are now. Hugs to you both and best wishes for 2023 from me here in Sydney Australia.
Aww thank you for sharing Barbara - I always love reading your comments. We feel you hugs from across the sea! Hopefully you’re staying cool down south!
Haha your mum is so right! Do not watch the movie! ’Salem’s lot is my favourite Stephen King and top five horror books ever! Fantastic book! I loved this video, such a creative family history. Thank you for sharing 🙏🏼❤️

You are so welcome! So glad you enjoyed it!
Delightful episode! Love the inclusivity emphasis your mom talks about, and all her real life skills that most have lost in our present US society.
Aww thank you for your kind words!

Absolutely not too late!!! My parents actually teach canning at our local community college. I wonder if you could find a class near you!
