If ur asking if u can saw it down to match a previous piston chamber or u buy the ring n the piston chamber at different times, I wouldn’t know which width matches who because each piston chamber might be off by certain mm than the unmatchable rings. I learn this a long time ago trying to save the factory’s piston chamber n buy a new piston with the ring n didn’t work. I had to rebuy the whole set n was unable to return the previous one. So buy it one time and everything together. The width would already b calculated by the manufacturer n they wouldn’t send u incompatible parts.
A little side note, if u r going to move the rings back n forth n not the way it’s done on this specific vid I would strongly recommend u to use fresh engine oil on the wall. Note that once I install mine I didn’t move it n in fact on the other vid, before I install it I did apply engine oil on the wall.

120 miles per light speed!!!
on mine there is no letter or anything on either ring's so how would i install those?
Throw it away…
@@Mr.FLOYDs i took a light and agnifying Glass and looked and i see letter's on both of them do they go up/down or doesn't matter?

Would the cf250 be the same?
If it’s for gapping then yes. Pay close attention to ur rings.
Is it the same to for gy6 50cc???
Yep. Same method for all 4 stroke. You either follow the letter or if no letter follow the bezel sides. If no bezel sides follow the ring pattern.
Does the ring Gap need to be a specific width?
