This is my favorite album of all time, and i don't say that lightly. Its a mix of nostalgia and just amazing songs made even better than the originals Finch is highly underrated imo, takes me back right to the start of my journey into Music and being online for the first time exploring a new world, a whole new world, life was good, i still had my whole family and my friends and the world was looking really good, i was a happy friendly loving teenager with the whole world ahead of me, searching for that perfect girl... exciting times, they have come to pass and now i am older, and i find this amazing album bringing back my youth once again! thank you for this specially 'without you here' i could actually listen to that song on repeat all day long and probably cry multiple times during the song its so damn beautiful. P.S what it is to burn (demo version) is still one of my favorite songs of all time along with Untill the day i die by Story of the Year, also anyone who likes Yellowcard go listen to there new album with Hammock 'a hopeful sign' it will bring some tears to your eyes!
It sends shivers through my core... I love the way Nate sings the chorus. it's different but endlessly melodic and touching. Guys, you are the best ever! My life wouldn't be the same without your music in it! Thank you so much for everything you do!
Man I just can’t describe how much this song has meant to me all these years it came out when I was a freshman in HS navigating through all the teenage bullshit, the angst, the heartbreaks the lifelong memories with my friends wearing Tripp pants and trying to get the girl who is way out of your league but I can whole heartedly say that I almost got her I was this close🤏🏼 but I did hook up with her younger sister for a little bit she was only like a year or two younger than myself no hard feelings to either still speak to the younger sister quite often but this song was right up near the top of my playlist at that time thanks Finch for helping a young fella make it the best way he could 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
This song has always had a place in my heart, from the lyrics, to the vocals, the bridge into the end. I get wanting an acoustic feel, but this needs to be as fast as the album. Still Supreme 👌
