This is one of the things that made it clear that Lucas made the 'Vader is Luke and Leia's father' thing was decided after he made New Hope Vader/Anakin should have definitely sensed Leia

Just one thought, since you mentioned it... I've never gotten why Force Choke is explicitly considered a Dark Side power. I know games that have it treat it as such for categorization purposes but if you think about it, it's really just another application of Force Telekinesis, like push-pull, except what you're doing is basically "force pushing" against a single point in all directions. Obviously a Jedi has no reason to go around choking people, but you could still use the same general concept against a non-living target, or in a more restrained form to remotely grab hold of an object or even a person in a more precise way than push-pull.
Its crazy that Vader never considered she might be force sensitive considering he tried ripping the info from her mind but couldn’t turns out she’s a natural telepath and was blockading him
This was amazing. I’ve been a fan of your videos for a while and it’s always fun to see your interesting SW what if’s. It was also fun to see Vader sensing Leia was his daughter getting shown some love. This is definitely an interesting scenario and it should definitely get shown some more love. Plus I always love seeing Vader getting involved more in SW. Great job as always and I can’t wait to see what you do next. I do have a few ideas for some possible what if’s: 1) What if Rey was a Mandalorian…essentially what if Din Djarin found Rey and took her in as a Foundling. 2) What if Ezra was a Mandalorian…something like how both his parents were Mandalorians who left Mandalore and went to start their own lives (you could still keep most of Ezra’s backstory) and potentially make Ezra and Sabine a couple (since Disney won’t, we have too…#ezrabine4ever. 3) What if Jango Fett and/or Boba Fett Joined the Republic…I think something interesting could happen with this. 4) What if Rey, Finn and Poe went back in time to the Clone Wars…this would make the World Between Worlds even more of an important focal point and I could also see them get along well with Anakin, Ashoka, Rex and the rest of the 501st (it would be fun to see Rey, Finn and Poe join the 501st) I hope these are some amazing ideas for some potential What if’s
What if Durge was the template for the Clone Army instead of Jango Fett? What if Anakin, Obi Wan and Palpatine died on the Invisible Hand when it crashed into Coruscant? Awesome What If idea I’d love you to do. What if in the Mandalorian season 2 episode 6 when young Grogu activates the seeing stone to make a call for help and a trainer. What if once Grogu activated the stone a small portal in time some 20,000 years earlier when the original Jedaii order lived on Tython. Grogu actually pulls through a master and apprentice from the original amazing Jedi order whom trained to use both sides of the force. Both master and apprentice arrive in present day. They help defeat the couple of Dark Troopers and save Grogu from getting taken. Staying on Tython a couple extra days Luke Skywalkers X-Wing flys in. Now the older more experienced Jed’aii master then takes both Luke & Grogu as his apprentices teaching the way the force should be used. Eventually after a couple months training both Luke & Djin Grogu are so much more powerful in the force

The only change I’d make is: once that probe droid took bodily fluids of Leia, Vader then confronts her in front of Tarkin, but allows Tarkin to speak for him: “Lord Vader has discovered that you are his biological daughter and was kidnapped at birth by Bail Organa. For this unforgivable action, we will use this space station to obliterate the rebel scum” With Tarkin knowing, therefore Palps knows. At the end of your story, you stated that Palps knew all along. If Vader told Tarkin out of respect- that would look good to Palps. He would bring her to Palps dais and introduce her. But, during that journey, Vader will have a ❤2❤ so that she doesn’t double cross Vader when Palps says to do so. He actually removes his helmet for a bit. He does this for 2 reasons. 1) he asks her to touch his head so they have actual skin on skin contact. 2) he wants her to see in his eyes that he loves her & always has his back. He also says “the way forward ain’t easy, and it is filled with hate, anger & betrayal. I’m just making sure that with your heart, please don’t double cross me when Sidious instructs you to do so. No matter the gift he is offering. It is hollow. Look at me now”
According to the official canon, Luke is more like Padme and Leia is more like their father. So the fact that Leia save their father was not an option. Nice to see you change that though. What if; Anakin never gave into his feelings for Padme (Pentre Patrol did his version), Aayla Secura was the chosen one and became Darth Talon, Shme Skywalker was adopted by the Tusken Raiders, Boba Fett saved his Tusken family, Count Dooku was a regular count for the CIS, Jabba the Hutt supported the Jedi at the Start of the Clone Wars, and finally, what if Sabine and Ezra fell in love?
What if when Anakin went to ILUM to get his first kyber crystal he found the first NATURAL RED crystal. What if JarJar had a kultz attack and knocked over the vase revealing Palpatine's hidden lightsaber. What if due to childhood trauma Palpatine developed a split personality thus Palpatine DIDN'T KNOW he was Sidious. What if while tinkering with machines Anakin accidentally created a force sensitive droid.
What if Sideous/Palpatine never existed, and Plagueis didn't decide to take an apprentice (in the EU, he resolved to never take an apprentice, before he found Palpatine and was so impressed by him) until finding Anakin. Anakin would of course still exist, by Plagueis trying to make himself immortal, causing the force to react and birth Anakin just like canon. Without Sideous. This would leave Plagueis alone to manipulate the galaxy all the way up to episode 1, if not further. No Maul or anything, would be interesting.

Tarkin would not allow Vader to take Leia away. Her presence on the Death Star was guaranteed to be reported to the Emperor. If Vader took Leia off the Death Star it would stoke suspicion and if it was found out that she was force sensitive and training with Leia, Palpatine would have known that this was fowl play and would have hunted Vader and Leia down with the full might of the Empire.

I think he did know that both kids were his for a long while, probably thru the force, spies or research etc. As they could have vaporized that ship instead of going thru so much trouble for a data disc. As the Empire did not seem all that concerned about the Rebellion, everyone but Tarkin that is and doubt the Empire nor the Emperor cared about demise. Tarkin belittled the Rebels but yet was so insane in the way he kept persisting on single minded objectives like the droids or the Rebel base etc. He blew up an Alderan which was still part of the Empire on his own and for no real purpose at all. Even Vader questioned that order. Wonder what the Emperor thought? Vader also could have killed all of them on the Death Star and so on etc. In every film he lets Luke and Leia escape in some form or another. Vader seems to have been making his own plans at the same time fighting himself. As he did have decades to ponder. Just one fans opinion. 😉
I feel this is very realistic my only criticism is with it's realism is Leias quick trust to Vader, she obviously despised him after blowing up alderaan but even before she hated how much genocide and fascist he was but aside from this this is a cool fanfic of what if Leia was in Luke's role ❤
