I've got Copper Coat on my 35' sailboat and it works well. Application is key....you have to roll it smooth, wet on tacky and burnish it properly with 320 grits. Don't allow it to dry too long (i.e. more than a week) it will be tough to burnish.

Good shout, will be in the water within a week of it having been done so no danger there, but we will remember to give it a little rubdown

Is 5 coats what’s recommended? Great being able to get done in shed!

Yes, five or six characters was recommended. Definitely do not fancy having to do this out in the cold in this weather

What are you going to do under the sidestands?

Good question, and there are a couple of options. One option is to re-cradle the boat with the stands in a slightly different place. Sometimes the cradle is adjustable and it is possible to move the pads, albeit while keeping the boat supported with additional supports. The least satisfactory answer is to hold the boat in a sling for a long period of time.
