    Don't ever change that outro song!! It's so nice, blends so incredibly well with snooker and I love the way you usually put it before the end. I thoroughly enjoyed the video, especially the last part when the song started.

    I love how they are so confident and proud of their skill they have taken months and years to hone that they genuinely get disappointed when they fluke in a shot

    not sure why Chinese snooker fans applaud when there's a fluke...

    • @andrewsuryali8540
      @andrewsuryali8540 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Chinese LIKE luck. It's hard to explain, but in Chinese culture being lucky is considered the result of making effort to be lucky. Probably a carryover from the old days when luck was perceived as something you try to obtain by either bribing the gods or avoiding unlucky things or even investing in lucky arrangement of places and objects. If you're familiar with Chinese numerology and feng shui you know what I mean. If it takes effort to be lucky, then being lucky is worthy of respect. So of course flukes are applauded. It's a sign of favor from the universal powers for effort you make to keep them happy.

    • @SuperMrPoly
      @SuperMrPoly 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      In a competition your good luck is another's bad luck. It's common courtesy to apologise in such a situation.

    Why players needs to apologize for fluke?

    • @marcelwernze2760
      @marcelwernze2760 6 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      abhank black they don't 'need' to apologize but they are all doing it because its a very fair sport and as a pro you dont want to win a frame or a match with something like a fluke

    • @abhankblack7377
      @abhankblack7377 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Marcel Wernze oh. That's awesome. I thought it is the rule. But I'm wrong. Thanks.

    • @Jack-jf2gz
      @Jack-jf2gz 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Why would you not apologise for a fluke? Unless they get a fluke and didnt apologise then I wouldnt apologise for a fluke. Im assuming youve never played pool or snooker at a relatively high level before based on your comment

    • @abhankblack7377
      @abhankblack7377 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jack_1808 you're right. Never played pool or snooker professionally. I just love to watch snooker. Maybe I'm kind of new in this sport, you know. Since it is not too popular in my country.

    • @Jack-jf2gz
      @Jack-jf2gz 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      abhank black I didn't mean professional. Even what I play which is at county level so still amateur. Apologising for flukes is just common courtesy, especially in matches that actually mean something

  • @airdynhardy939
    @airdynhardy939 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Will someone explain to me how this game of pool works bc it's not the normal game of pool

    • @squiresam
      @squiresam 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Its not pool, its snooker. Bigger table, smaller balls, smaller holes, different scoring system. Red balls are 1 point, the yellow 2, green 3, brown 4, blue 5, pink 6, and black 7. You make a red, then you make a color (anything else but red). The color is placed back on its spot, or another spot if its spot is occupied. Once all the reds are potted, then the colors in value order lowest to highest.

    • @airdynhardy939
      @airdynhardy939 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you have to make all the red before any other color?

    • @pooldawg9321
      @pooldawg9321 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      airdyn Hardy Idk why people are givin u a hard time for asking how to play. Sometimes it's easier to understand coming from the mouths of people who play rather reading out of a rule book. Snooker's a points game. Reds are 1 point, the other colors all have different values. U just alternate between reds & the other colors. Reds stay when u make em, the other colors get spotted (they each have their own designated spot). After you make a red you can shoot any one of the other colors. Once there are no reds left, you clear the others in order of their value. I've been playin for a year or so & I still run into situations that I have to ask about. Don't let a couple smart-asses deter u from tryin it out, it's a damn good game.

    • @hrishishotte
      @hrishishotte 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      airdyn Hardy there's a minimum of -4 for a foul, if you make a foul on colours like Blue pink or black then its -5, -6,-7 respectively. Fouls are similar to pool, like no hits to the designated balls or cue ball in pocket.
