More About Spawn: Spawn is a 1997 American supernatural superhero horror film based on the comic book character of the same name. Directed and co-written by Mark A.Z. Dippé, the film stars Michael Jai White in the title role, and is the first film to feature an African American actor portraying a major comic book superhero.[3] Spawn depicts the origin story of the title character, beginning with the murder of soldier/assassin Al Simmons. He is resurrected as Spawn, the reluctant, demonic leader of Hell's army. He ultimately refuses to lead the army in the war against Heaven and turns away from evil. The film co-stars John Leguizamo (as The Violator, Al's demonic guide and enemy of the film's antagonist) and Nicol Williamson (as Al's mentor, Cogliostro). Martin Sheen, Theresa Randle, D. B. Sweeney, Melinda Clarke, and Frank Welker (as the voice of Malebolgia) also star in the film.

McFarlane is not only a legend but a real classy guy! Love his art.
He's so humble and nerdy....I love it!
He is not nerdy,he talk foe people who listen, but sadly he is too nice to realize some people are too selfish to take their time to listen to him even tho they get useful knowledge about of it

Never thinking anything you do is good leads to become a master at your craft. More or less, always thinking you can do better and learn more to improve leads to an evolution of the artist that is not perfect but one of a kind. In other words, your style. It's not something you want to do, rather something you become 😊
Wow! I knew comic artists drew on bigger paper but seeing the absolute size of those pages is shocking to me!
I gotta draw on that size seems very challenging!
@@eugeniosabater8449Drawing bigger is actually easier and is one of the first things they'll have you do at art school. The bigger you draw the less accurate you need to be because you have "wiggle room" and also more space for details. On top of that.....you can actually see what you are doing.
I got mine yesterday and was lucky enough to get a 1:6 edition! Thanks Todd!
What does the extra sketch look like? Could you post an image?
That was really nice to see. Enjoyed it, thank you.
IDW (with editor Scott Dunbier) launched these kind of volumes named Artist's Edition. After that all publishers jumped on the bandwaggon. But IDW remained consistent with them, while others did not. Dunbier was also responsible for the inception of the Absolute line.
This guy is 100% real
Is there going to be a Capullo version?
