Such a beautiful location for a house. Such a shame to see the foundation issues on such a nice home. You literally have to water your house here in Texas. This is a good reminder to keep turn on my soaker hoses. Thanks for taking the time to post this...I got a lot out of it.

This this video exterior examination shows that there must be a hydrostatic there just got to be a Plumbing Leak towards the middle of the house when all four corners of the building are separating at The Brick freeze you have some areas with larger cracks than others at the brick freeze Zone, hydrostatic test to determine and eliminate internal plumbing leaks should be your primary concern to a resident. Other than this visual inspection hopefully your company does interior elevations and recommendations for hydrostatic testing to these homeowners.

Thanks for the very informative video. How much would it cost to repair the foundation of the house? Would the primary cause be insufficient moisture control around the house? I don't see much grade, would this be a causative factor? How quickly could it get this bad? Thank you for answering any questions!

Very nice walk around. It's a very enlightening video for sure. I'd have never put the freeze-board separation together with foundation problems. Where did the music come from? Sounds pretty cool.

Man this is a great vid - very informative and good choice of music; it definitely added something to a kind-of boring subject. It's a great vid.

the house needs gutters with the downspouts extended underground. That's why you see a low soil level. It has been washed away. Plus, the roof drip line, with out gutters, during rain events has contributed to this problem increasing soil swelling around the home. Get some gutters on the home. And extend the them out below grade.

slab on grade with poor drainage

Is it safe to say that the possible cause would be 2 fold?
    1. The lack of gutters allows ALL water to seep into the foundation/footing. Ex. your video on the right side clearly showing erosion of the soil and an exposed footing with the over pour. Clearly water entering at this point and happens t obe the worst damage.
    2. Type of foundation? Monolithic pour with no block stem wall. I would presume no vertical rebar was used to tie into the slab and/or a cold joint occurred due to the monolithic pour
    Any thoughts?
