It's very interesting to learn that Lady Hussey was assigned to Meg in order to support her in her new life as a Royal. Not only because she said during that Oprah interview that she had no help or guidance but to know that later the poor woman was targeted, yes targeted by a plant at that function at the palace so that she could be labeled racist. This is in spite of no one else hearing the conversation or any proof at all. To think William was hoodwinked into easily sacking Lady H after her loyal service to his grandmother over many years. I think William acted in haste and did not stop to think and investigate first. I hope he's learned his lesson. But now it seems we can put one +one together to realize meg probably instigated this as she obviously wanted Lady Hussey silenced.

Might I add, that if Meghan stated she did not want an older lady to assist her because “what would an 80 year old have to offer a 38 year old” shows gross ageism which is a form of discrimination. It’s disgusting. Older people aren’t stupid and useless. They are wise, kind, insightful and caring because they have experience. The inflated sense of importance of this woman is astonishing.

Two, she was an Ambassador for World Vision and traveled to India and Africa for charitable work. Also, she volunteered in the kitchen at St. Felix Centre whilst WORKING in Toronto. Maybe her work on the cookbook which was for the benefit of the Grenfall Tower fire victims or how about her patronage of Smart Works? So many to chose from.

Trying to play the volunteer card against this family is akin to trying to play the Nazi card against the Hitler family! You simply cannot be serious.
I am over 70 and have a group of young women from 19-32 who are my “hen crew”. We go to different cultural things like the symphony or opera, theater and live music performances they’d not usually be exposed to. I tell them what the activity is, appropriate dress, etc. Most of the girls haven’t been exposed to these things, and are amazed at how much they like it all. We have a blast, even when a performance is less than what we expected. We also do stuff like have afternoon tea, try different ethnic restaurants, go to various ethnic festivals and exhibits. Museums, art openings, those sort of things, we try them all.
At first, the group wasn’t overly enthusiastic, but now, they’ll call or text and ask, “Are we getting tickets to ‘Les Miserables’”or “Are we going to see La Boheme?” It’s huge fun to turn younger people on to different, new, enriching experiences. To see how their confidence has grown, their poise and assurance strengthen, that’s what I get out of it. And yes, I’ve gone to things they’ve been enthusiastic for, festivals, hip hop shows, rap shows. Their youthful enthusiasm is invigorating, and encouraging. There is much to be gained form friends in all age groups.💕🎄

Catherine didn't need as much help because she is British and she had dated William for many, many years. Meghan should have been gracious and accepted all the help that was offered.
The fact that Omid Scobie has double down on such blatant racism shown by calling it tokenism, shows what's wrong with the so called "Woke Community." So he further insults the man by saying that he was hired because of his skin color and not his qualifications? One of the most famous quotes from MLK describes Omid. Catherine had help, especially from Camilla, who knew exactly what it was like for a woman to join the RF. Meghan refused the offer Sophie to be her mentor, and according to Neil Sean refused to socialise with anyone (such as the Middletons) who might ask her questions about her family etc in the course of conversation.
I do believe that Camilla also offered to help Meg.

I am mixed race myself (Mom is white and Native; Dad is black), and I've been following Meghan's antics since she joined the royal family. I have to say I'm disgusted by her - she's a proven liar and denied her black heritage until she thought it would benefit her. So when she started dating Harry, suddenly she decided she was a black woman; she demanded a black choir at her wedding, as if to say, "look how black I am!" The only family member that showed up was her mother. No one else. She's very clearly been using her status as a mixed woman to claim racism so she can gain sympathy and it's not working. She needs to stop. Harry is no better (see the SS uniform he wore to a party back in the day), and comments he's made toward non-white soldiers in his unit when he "served" in the British Army.
Didn't KC organise the black choir. She probably felt that they had made her wedding too black. She didn't see it as a celebration of other cultures within the Commonwealth; she saw it as her wedding being hijacked, and her being forced to make herself blacker.

Let’s face facts , she had one family member at a wedding where she also invited people she’d never even met but probably believed would be useful to her in the future . Meghan probably wanted Beyoncé to sing at her nuptials . I genuinely think KC enjoys the Westminster Gospel Choir ( they’re fab ) and thought Meghan would . She laughed through a lot of Bishop Curry’s diatribe which I thought was disrespectful . Meghan was desperately trying to be Caucasian but her cover was blown ! I didn't see any of her black relatives at her wedding. On her mother's side, there are many relatives. To not acknowledge the other part of you seems very sketchy, to me and downright mean. That is very ra(ist towards those who are mixed race. Personally, I would love to have light brown skin, instead of my very pale Irish skin, which turns bright red and is so painful, it I even take a step outside on a summer's day. Protective Sun cream costs me a fortune every year. She spends big bucks on straightening her hair, when there are wonderful styles she could have with her natural hair.

1 I think it’s odd that she never embraced her black side and always identified as Caucasian. It's not as though he was a junior rank, or of no rank - he is a senior officer! Mo matter the colour ov his skin, she should have been honoured! But, as she had refused the help of many others, mo surprise she refused him too.
As for there not being many people of colour in the Royal household - making the Lt. Colonel 'stand out' - there has to be a first before there can be many. It would only be tokenism if he was chosen because of his colour and for no other reason, never to be repeated. He is well qualified to have helped and supported her, and possibly yes, they may have believed that him being Ghanaian (not English), black, and male, she may have felt more comfortable with him than the obviously white English women (his complete opposite) suggested before. Little did they know that she didn't want help from anyone, believing she could change the way things were done rather than adapt to the way things are.

Honestly, my belief is that Meghan is so stupendously envious of Catherine, that she is hell-bent on attempting to smear her name and title. In the Netflix documentary Megan complained that she had no help to adjust to royal life and protocol. I have to wonder if MM did not want to take advice from a black person. I have said from the time she started pulling shenanigans, that her actions led me to believe she was racist. She started playing the race card when she didn't get her way. I never saw any photos of her dating a black man or running around with black girlfriends. She tailored her appearance to look like a white woman. People who worked with her said they had no idea she was mixed race. I think the reason MM had so much trouble while in the royal family and is continuing to have problems is because this is the first time she has actually had to accept she is mixed race and is living her life now as a mixed race person. This is by her own choice because she is the person who made a big deal out of being mixed race because she used it as an excuse to fail as a royal and continues to fail in the US. Others are not racists. She just sees them as racist because she is self-conscious.
Don't forget....when her mother attended her Graduation Ceremony, her friends from her WHITE sorority thought Doria was her maid or nanny/....and ragland did nothing to dispel this impression by telling them she was her mother!!!

I think it was in the Netflix doc Meghan made a comment that she was not attractive has a young girl with her natural hair and space between her front teeth. These are both characteristics of people of color and I have always wondered why no one has ever called her out for it. She needs to sort out her feelings about her own blackness before making accusations about another’s racism.

As a retired police officer, I am mortified that people who are supposed to be examples to others commit crimes or get involved in anything racists. The justice system is supposed to see everyone as equal. I am from the US so it does seem strange that someone is charged with a crime for making racists remarks. Her natural grace and intelligence, and the love she had for Princess William, would be the motivation for her to ‘train’ for her future role. Like any Apprenticeship - the right training for the challenges of the job.
