Play prosper with treasure multipliers, birgi, storm kiln artist. Get a storm count of like 20 or so, past in flames can help, then drop in tendrils of agony and make it where your opponents will surrender. Still not enough, add in aetherflux and make them SWEAT.
I have a Zada, Hedron Grinder, netdecked from commanders quarters, and that can definitely storm off on 25-50$. Cantrip on Zada, draw like 8-10 Cards. Cast another cantrip on Zada for another 8-10 cards. Cast Inner Fire: 1 Red Mana for each card in your Hand. Cast around 10 pump spells on Zada and swing for maybe 90 damage.
@@rennstkevidloloy2257 it does not. However it has a heavy resource system. For this instance I would have needed to have 20 spells cast during my turn to get 20 goblins out of empty the warrens. That's a lot of mana to generate, much less an amount of cards (past in flames helps since you can cast from the graveyard) Still, there are some VERY silly combo decks that can do that, either with alternative costs or by generating crap tons of mana.
Opponents? I thought the people at the table were just there to babysit me and help me keep track of mana and storm count. That's what they bring the dice for, right?
@@Gorbgorbenson he still reduces spells by one the turn he comes down, and costs one less. when you replay mizzix the first time, she costs 6 mana. vadrik costs 5
@yuvalsela4482 I understand that. What Im saying is that if you cast mizzix, play a bunch of spells to gain exp counters, you are going to be in better shape when you replay it later to then combo off the turn it comes down. Im sure vadrik is strong. You have to have him stick longer to gain advantage, and if you recast him, it requires 5 spells after to be net positive. Compared to 6 spells total for Mizzix.
I have a Zaffai deck where I am getting a lot better at playing fast but some lines of play that are possible are just so complicated like when you Mizzix Mastery with like 20+ spells in your graveyard trying to stack em all resolve your triggers and do everything in the right order but man I'm just addicted to situations like that where stuff just gets crazy.
I have a Narset, Enlightened Master deck that runs Thousand Year Storm with Shark Typhoon, Jeskai Ascendancy and about typically 3 other things that proc on one spell being cast (and when it pops off, we're talking "storm" count of 6) And how do I channel that into a win? 1)cast Blood pet: sac and get 1 Black mana 2)Mortuary Trigger:put blood pet on top of library 3) korvold, fae cursed king Trigger :draw a card. Repeat over and over = infinite storm count 4) grapeshot or Something else with storm

People do understand that Storm copies the spell for each spell cast that turn and not just the spells before the Storm spell, right? With a Storm count of 4, Empty the Warrens would make a total of 10 1/1 R Goblin tokens, assuming each copy resolves.
but ...this really wasnt scary or particularly good. if all 8 1/1s live then its still 5 turns to ko a single player. people are acting like this is some kind of impressive move

Could not have cast Empty the Warrens, had zero mana open and none floating either as far as I know, there's so many examples of blatant cheating like this in so many of these shorts, you can see they're tapped out with zero floating mana just from pausing the video at the right time then they're casting more spells without the mana to pay for them and nothing giving them free-casting
My Vadrik deck does similar things, just cheat mana costs and do crazy copy things. It suddenly storms off and makes him huge, making X spells cost X less equal to his power. So fireballing people for 30 on turn 3 has happened, and it's scary. Very cheap deck to build too.
