Holy shit I'm doing industrial lighting design and never have I ever seen or created anything close to this detail xDD I would much rather be doing this type of lighting design! Thank you Nelca for all the tips and tricks you have shared here!
Hello! The structure of this building is amazing! How did you create the more complex building features? Id love to see a video on that type of content. Thanks! Jeremy
Hello, your concept and drawings are incredible, wish i would have you as a teacher, caus' i am fairly new with Dialux, but i have learned so much with you so far, will keep watching for sure.
i am a beginner in dialux evo. by watching your videos i have learned .lot thank for posting the videos which will be very helpful to people who just started their carrers in lighting design . .will you please upload a video how you created this Shopping mall. i twant to know how you crated the structure inside the area.please i would be very helpful for us to learn more about lighting design
Dear John, thank u for your message. ok, because you requested it, i will dot it. just give me time because it really takes time to create video then edit. I will keep you posted. Enjoy watching for other videos! regards, Nelca-
Many thanks for your reply. awaiting your video. keep continuing your good works and keep posting to learn more about from you and your work. all the best . once again thanks for your feedback. all the best.will keep watching your videos
Increible trabajo! Construyes en Dialux o en otro programa? Como lo exportas? Cuando exporto un archivo Autocad 3D me da problemas. Que Dialux usas? Gracias! Great!!!!!! You´re build in Dialux or other program? How do you export? When I export a cad3d,the program has mistake! What dialux you use? Thanks!!!
hi Nelca! How advance is the material editor in DialuxEvo? Can oyu use texture maps for color of your materials? Can you use textures for bump maps, reflectance maps...? Thank you
Hey Nelca, I just started a placement as an electrical engineer at a building consultancy and your tutorials have gone a long way in helping familiarize with lighting design. How long do you think I will might need to become very proficient with the software, also is there anyway you can send me plans, and final pictures of one or two projects you have done so I could use them for practice and guide. Thank you!! Sorry for the long message.
you have a way to make transparent glass, which also shines? As a billboard or a opalicerad surface which is partly transparent and are a light source itself, which makes it to a luminant surface?
can you help me... i am doing an internal and external calculation. However, the external lighting is not showing up, like yours are. do you know why this could be?
+Nelca Roco, Lighting Design yes i know this Nel o, it works on all my other designs. But for some reason this is not. I have external and internal lights showing and on the building and they are fine. But, externals that are not around the building that are lighting pathways etc are not showing up on the floor!? Do you know what this could be?
I know now, you inserted the luminaires on that pathwalk on the building or story tab. first delete these luminaires, then go the site tab, then insert it again. enjoy!
no :( unfortunately this is not the problem, i inserted them on the site tab. they just do not calculate or show any light on the floor at all. but when on or near a building they will show on the building.
hi Nelca, I sent you an email but maybe it is in your spam box so I want to write it again in here. In one of your project I saw an arc ramp for parking area (www.dial.de/fileadmin/_processed_/csm_DIalux_evo_Facade_Lighting_Entry_-_Nelca_Roco__1__a2dbea2d2a.jpg) . I really wonder how you did that in evo. Could you please explain this. Thanks in advance.
Dear Deniz, its easy, just create the curve using the extrusion object, then place the ramp or inclined object from the default objects. scale it until it covers the curve object, then instead of subtract, intersect. Good-luck! let me know if you made it!
Thanks for replying again Nelca :) I guess I did what you said. But I want to obtain a straight entrence instead of angled. When I intersect the extrusion object with ramp, it makes the entrence part also inclined. downward.

HI Patri, Thank you, most of my object are built in Dialux evo, some are imported from Sketchup.
hi mam...is it possible to create an opening in roof in multi storey building? like light shaft .
..
did you design everything from scratch in DIA lux or you import the 3d model from other software? thanks
3:52...brilliant, could not believe my ears, but so cool as for reaction.
+Jean-Marc Lariviere
hahaha! u heard that?
@@NelcaRoco we all heard :)
Hi, these are useful, how do you create crown mouldings/baseboards?
use extrusion volume in object tab
Thank you! Is there a way to do detailed extrusions? Or is it limited to rectangles and simple shapes?
let me create a video for you
Omg thank you. that would be amazing.
check this out! th-cam.com/video/X0eiK7ltS3g/w-d-xo.html
enjoy learning!

hi pica, no not yet. its not that flexible yet like 3dsmax or other 3d software.

Just keep on practicing Salihi. Thats the only secret to learn it.

Johan, check this one. Let me know if it is still not ok. th-cam.com/video/QTzFQfnvxQ4/w-d-xo.html
Hi Nelca, how did you create the hill on which the building is located?
Thank You!
Hi Alessandro, the hill is from Sketchup. exported to dialux. Check this video how I did it. th-cam.com/video/0RrZDCMxvQ4/w-d-xo.html
Hi Nelca. How to create a ramp curve? Thanks
Hi Leo, using sketchup, then save as 3ds file, then import to dialux evo.
nice video
can you help me...
i am doing an internal and external calculation. However, the external lighting is not showing up, like yours are. do you know why this could be?
Go to "site" tab and see how it looks.

Thanks for the support
Hi girl, id like to know the specs of your PC cuz im really wondering how can ur pc afford such detailed and i think heavy file size of evo? :) thanks
Hi Renz, i5, 8GB RAM, 64bit processor, 2 Tb hard drive. Thats it!
thanks po :)
Hi nelca , will you please send me the videos which i have requested

do u know how to use Sketchup?
Yes I know but when I import 3ds file into dialux, the calculation is getting too slow :/
small ramp may not that heavy. dont import 3ds file more than 1mb.
