    Holy shit I'm doing industrial lighting design and never have I ever seen or created anything close to this detail xDD
    I would much rather be doing this type of lighting design!
    Thank you Nelca for all the tips and tricks you have shared here!

    Hello! The structure of this building is amazing! How did you create the more complex building features? Id love to see a video on that type of content.
    Thanks!
    Jeremy

    Hi, these are useful, how do you create crown mouldings/baseboards?

    • @NelcaRoco
      @NelcaRoco  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      use extrusion volume in object tab

    hi Nelca!
    How advance is the material editor in DialuxEvo?
    Can oyu use texture maps for color of your materials?
    Can you use textures for bump maps, reflectance maps...?
    Thank you

      @NelcaRoco  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      hi pica, no not yet. its not that flexible yet like 3dsmax or other 3d software.

    Hey Nelca, I just started a placement as an electrical engineer at a building consultancy and your tutorials have gone a long way in helping familiarize with lighting design. How long do you think I will might need to become very proficient with the software, also is there anyway you can send me plans, and final pictures of one or two projects you have done so I could use them for practice and guide. Thank you!! Sorry for the long message.

      Just keep on practicing Salihi. Thats the only secret to learn it.

    you have a way to make transparent glass, which also shines? As a billboard or a opalicerad surface which is partly transparent and are a light source itself, which makes it to a luminant surface?

    Thank You!

    • @NelcaRoco
      @NelcaRoco  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Alessandro, the hill is from Sketchup. exported to dialux. Check this video how I did it. th-cam.com/video/0RrZDCMxvQ4/w-d-xo.html

    can you help me...
    i am doing an internal and external calculation. However, the external lighting is not showing up, like yours are. do you know why this could be?

    • @NelcaRoco
      @NelcaRoco  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Go to "site" tab and see how it looks.

      +Nelca Roco, Lighting Design yes i know this Nel o, it works on all my other designs. But for some reason this is not. I have external and internal lights showing and on the building and they are fine. But, externals that are not around the building that are lighting pathways etc are not showing up on the floor!? Do you know what this could be?

    • @NelcaRoco
      @NelcaRoco  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know now, you inserted the luminaires on that pathwalk on the building or story tab. first delete these luminaires, then go the site tab, then insert it again. enjoy!

    • @spudnik001
      @spudnik001 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      no :( unfortunately this is not the problem, i inserted them on the site tab.
      they just do not calculate or show any light on the floor at all. but when on or near a building they will show on the building.

    hi Nelca, I sent you an email but maybe it is in your spam box so I want to write it again in here. In one of your project I saw an arc ramp for parking area (www.dial.de/fileadmin/_processed_/csm_DIalux_evo_Facade_Lighting_Entry_-_Nelca_Roco__1__a2dbea2d2a.jpg) . I really wonder how you did that in evo. Could you please explain this. Thanks in advance.

    • @NelcaRoco
      @NelcaRoco  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dear Deniz, its easy, just create the curve using the extrusion object, then place the ramp or inclined object from the default objects. scale it until it covers the curve object, then instead of subtract, intersect.
      Good-luck! let me know if you made it!

    • @denizunsal7889
      @denizunsal7889 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for replying again Nelca :) I guess I did what you said. But I want to obtain a straight entrence instead of angled. When I intersect the extrusion object with ramp, it makes the entrence part also inclined. downward.

    • @NelcaRoco
      @NelcaRoco  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      do u know how to use Sketchup?

    • @denizunsal7889
      @denizunsal7889 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I know but when I import 3ds file into dialux, the calculation is getting too slow :/

    • @NelcaRoco
      @NelcaRoco  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      small ramp may not that heavy. dont import 3ds file more than 1mb.
