They finally acknowledged how they missed Palutena, Dr. Mario and Bowser Jr. in their most recent Smash video, which was evidently recorded way after this recording session (they even reference Steve's recent surge in... "popularity"), so I'm gonna make a guess: they actually already recorded the Ness episode, but they hammered so much how he was "the last one", so they just can't upload it, since it turned out he wasn't the last one, so now they have to upload the 3 characters missing before uploading Ness as the final one and acting as if nothing happened.
They uploaded some of these out of order before, so it wouldn't even be that weird tbh.
The adventure is at the end and we haven't made any friends along the way.

I do think Dash’s biggest strength in this life is his humor. I feel like that’s what keeps him being a relatively extraordinary TH-camr/content creator, every time he is on screen he acts like he’s wholesome. He’s like the real life Joker: high tier with an antiperspirant joke.
