Hi Crystal from the UK. It's New Years Eve today and all my Christmas decorations are gone so the house is clean and fresh for the new year. There is always something you gave missed though isn't there!!! I wish you and your family a happy and healthy new year. X
Oh my! I am! I'm so excited for 2021. I'm also doing some renew & getting a very very much needed second full bathroom!:) I'm a single mom of 3 girls. I started very young (I was a teen mom). I'm 37 years old and my oldest is 22 (Yes, that made me 15 years young), then I have a 16 year old (I was secretly happy she couldn't go for her learner's permit due to Covid:/ lol) & then my baby girl is going to be 13 in March! My oldest was away from home and in school until Covid hit. Now she's back home safe & sound with me & her sisters for now.. & I love it! I'm looking forward to a Healthy & Happy New Year with My Family & Wishing you Crystal A Very Happy Holiday Season & A Very Healthy & Happy New Year!!:)) Thank you so much for the up-load!:)
I celebrate Winter through February with Winter and Valentine decor. After 30 years living in a wooded area, we did a whole house residing project. Whole new color and all new spouting. Took down the shutters and replaced them with wide window trim in a darker color and got that leaf guard for our gutters. It looks like a whole new house and is much more maintenance free since we are now 35 years older 👍🏻😉😂
I’m in snow weather here too. But for decor. The day after Three Kings Day I put Valentine’s decor inside and out. Then the day after the St Pats goes up. Then Easter and then summer which is red white and blue. I love to decorate for Mardi Gras too. I put up a wreath I made and make Fat Tuesday donuts. I love all the holidays.
Crystal the older I get the more I find it much easier to decorate or take in all down in stages. So much less stressful on me. I use to do it all in one day & it was tough. Plus I enjoy it more now. When we lived in Pennsylvania (all of my life) I use to decorate for winter. Now that we’re in Texas I just leave it very clean & neutral. I will do a small Valentines display & Easter. Then it will be spring/summer decor. Everything looks amazing! 🌲
We have a Keurig and a full size coffee/espresso combo on our counter. I’d love to make the coffee maker disappear but my husband needs the 12-cup maker for hunting, fishing etc. trips. I didn’t like them near each other so I put them as far apart as possible on the counters, tucked into their own corners and it doesn’t seem like we have two coffee appliances that way. I’m so excited for all your upcoming projects - I get the best ideas from watching you. We had all new windows and siding done a little over a year ago and I still feel like I get to come home to a new house everyday. We went from white clapboard to Cape Cod shingle siding (which is perfect since we live in MA.) You know you’ve reached full adulthood when you get excited about window and siding selections! 😁
I did the same thing this year. Took things down slowly. Still have the family room down stairs to take down. Usually I'm sick of Christmas but this year I wasn't ready for the decorations to come down. I also decorated for winter. Love how cozy and neutral your home is right now for winter
I start transitioning my decor towards everyday decor with a coastal flair & a touch of spring. I’m not a fan of the winter & the gray days that come with it. So, I prefer to brighten up spaces. You will love new siding on your house. 😀 We did that project in 2020, it was amazing the difference in how the house looks! I never struggle with taking down the Christmas decor, I started taking it all down on Christmas Day after the family left in the evening. 🤷🏻♀️ Gathered it all up before going to bed, and put it all back in the bins in the morning. Did the cleaning & decorated afterwards. I love how you decorate your chicken wire shelf. I have one too! But, my shelf never looks quite as nice.
Hi Crystal! Am doing the same however I’ve been adding some Valentine’s decor. I’m afraid when I go back to work, I’ll be swamped so I thought I’d better add some now rather than decorating the areas twice. But I do love the neutral accents so I’ve kept some of the “wintery” type of decor up. You’re right.... you have to do it slowly. When you put up a lot of decor, it takes a lot of time to take it down....it will take me at 3 days of cleaning and undecorating. It’s not for the “faint of heart.” 😂 And we finally got snow today....dang it.... I really wanted snow for the 24th! But it was so beautiful.... like being in a giant snow globe! Living in the Midwest, we can’t think about Spring right now.... it will be at least a couple of months!
I live in the Great Smoky Mountains so winter will be here for another 2 or 3 months so I definitely decorate for this cold season. It is very special to me because it is so cozy. I use lots of pine green, silver, flameless and flickering candles and quilted fabrics. Also, the forests provide creeping cedar and galax for winter color.
I’m the one home all day and accessing the coffee. I have both a pot and kurig and coffee grinder out on my counter! I keep it clean and uncluttered so I’m fine with it.
I’m going to add birch logs by my fireplace for winter decor but I always go straight to Valentine’s Day! I do the kitchen, mantle, and front door for Valentine’s! Yeah I get sad taking Christmas down so putting the valentines up makes me feel better. I never get the people that say they are happy to take down Christmas those are not my people! But Crystal you are my people because I totally get not being ready to take down Christmas. I’m like that every year.
My transition from Christmas to winter decor rule is taking down anything red, brighter green, and anything that sparkles. I actually love my winter decor! I keep up my non-sparking pine trees and bring in more neutral tones and it looks so cozy for the cold months!
Hey, My husband Joe and I have a nespresso and a ninja coffee maker. We love them and keep both on the counter. Much love and light to your family this holiday season. - Court
After Christmas decor it is Jan snow theme, Feb Valentines, Mar St Patrick's, April Easter, May is spring, June Summer , July the 4th , August summer again , Sept Fall , Oct Halloween , Nov Thanksgiving, Dec Christmas again. Love your decor style and videos.
I definitely have both coffee makers on the counter. I use a regular coffee maker and a Keurig for my afternoon coffee. The espresso is only occasionally used. My Christmas decor is all put away since yesterday and I've enjoyed my home so much all clean and whiteish....
As much as I love all my Christmas decorations, I'm really glad once I put it all away and I can put things back to normal. Of course the house always seems to look very bare. Lol. I love starting the new year with a clean organized house. Happy New Year to everyone.
In Montana, we are snowy until ?? I always roll over to winter greens, silver, a bit of flocked greens remain (like your houses/bowl in the K), snowmen and then I add that delish blue - just a bit. Vday stuff will wait out the month!! So appreciate the honest advice to go slow and not create a chaotic mess just UNdecorating!! Stay warm!! Send you a card too!!
Winter until late March. My husband is the coffee drinker. We set up a coffee station in our dining room. Keurig and Nespresso. I saw the snowman trio in your video and I immediately ordered them. They are perfect for trays.
I decorate for winter and leave it all up till March. Having white lights hung in each room ,makes the winter months a lot brighter and cozier! I decorate for spring in March 🌸 Happy New Crystal !🎊
I am just loving the white, black, green and wood tones. Perfect combo. Love the white and wood snowmen! They are my favorite. Love your advise on buying winter decor ahead.
You should buy a cart and make a coffee bar and keep it out all year long. Put it in your dining room then you can keep both coffee makers out. Make sure the cart has wheels so you can wheel it out of the area if necessary. I have so many projects I don’t know where to start..
My family ended up making a little coffee bar with all of our coffee makers! And that way we have cleared up counter space and both coffee machines are on display on a little table in the kitchen!
I definitely decorate for winter! I'm always a little sad to take down the Christmas so it makes me excited to decorate for winter and I love the beautiful whites and silvers! We have snow on the ground here as well and we'll have for a good 2 months or more so I'm definitely in the winter mood ⛄
I agree, it's too early for Spring decor. I usually take down my fall/Thanksgiving decor and decorate for Christmas in mid-November. However, I leave Thanksgiving decor in my dining room until after Thanksgiving day. I take down my Christmas normally by New Year's day (sometimes I just leave the tree with just the lights because it looks pretty and calm without all the trimmings) through the first week of the new year. I decorate for winter using snowflakes and crystal (with a few non-Christmas type snowmen). I then add some Valentine decor to that before I take it all down and start Spring decor. I love your house and decor and I enjoy your videos. Happy New Year!!!
I am the same...love decorating for winter. Totally not ready to jump into spring. We have an ice warning tonight and tomorrow. It's cold but not nearly snow like you have! I love using whites, greens and woods. I usually keep all my white and green bottle brush trees out...it's so hard to put all the Christmas away! Thanks for the inspiration!
I started decorating for Christmas in October and, like you, I’m not sick of them! I have started to take down the Christmas decor but am definitely leaving up my winter decor which includes my trees! I do remove all the decorations but the lights help with the early winter nights of darkness! I loved all your videos and now I can’t wait to see what this year has in store!
I started today with the help of my two fur babies. Tomorrow the tree comes down. When I was younger I did it all in one day and cleaned. I just don't have the energy any more. Thanks for a good year on you tube. I will probably leave everything undecorated until I get the bug in March. I usually like to have everything uncluttered to recuperate. Just a thought, if you put your Nespresso away you may not use it.
Hi Crystal!! I enjoyed this so much!! I just finished my kitchen winter decorate with me if you'd like to take a peak! I'm like you and step down to winter decor before Valentines day or spring...its just too early for that!! I love your shelves and they way you decorated them...you have some really awesome pieces to display!! How are you liking your camera? Just wondering, I'm considering a new camera purchase this year. Thanks for all your awesome videos!! God bless and wishing you a happy and prosperous New Year!! xo~Amy
I totally do some winter decor also. Jan and Feb are the heart of winter for me here in Canada. So I totally agree with you, can’t get into spring as yet.
Maybe consider doing a coffee bar with both machines on the bottom shelf in your breakfast area if it fits or maybe on your buffet table...? Or maybe even a skinny table where your white arch mirror is by buffet for a little coffee area! Either way it doesn’t look bad on counter if you just want the convenience!
I have an coffee maker and a Nespresso right next to each other on my counter with a tier tray in between. I like having them both out for an option to company. I must admit we don't use the Nespresso very much because it is a lot richer and stronger than the every day coffee but still love it as a treat! I can't take down Christmas yet. I love it too much! I didn't finish decorating until after 1st week of Dec. Probably will take it down end of Jan. if I have my way :)
Well Crystal, you certainly gave me so much inspiration with this video and seeing everything nice and clean and clutter-free makes me want to take my major Christmas decorations down (which I will but in one more week) and I will probably keep out my metal trees and snowmen for a bit... until February perhaps. And although I originally planned to keep everything up for quite a while.... I do love how clean and clutter-free everything looks when my Christmas decorations are packed up and put away. My goal in my new house is to keep it clean and neat with less clutter because cleaning out my old house I learned that less is more! So thank you for the inspiration and motivation. Enjoy! Linda
I decided to take a couple of days to take everything down as well. It was so much less stressful. I'm not putting up specific winter decor, but definitely keeping the dark neutral colors...white, black, dark green. I LOVED your village in your kitchen this year and borrowed the idea for my mantle! Here's to a happy and healthy 2021!
I always clean up before New Year’s Day. It feels like a clean, calm way to start the new year! Thanks for the motivation! We also have fiesta, so it was nice to display my pretty colors out again.
Happy New Year we live in Texas so it’s warm here. We have winter not like you but it gets cold. I am from N Y so I know how cold it gets. I don’t decorate for winter my home is not that big.. it’s already decorated with warm colors and we have wood through out. Now in the warmer weather I do add more white. Happy 2021
Full on Winter decor here in my little home in the woods. Transitioned to winter already. Kept little primitive lit tree up. Put rustic pine cone garland on mantle and a few wintry trees. Plaids and snowflake type decor . Very minimal... but totally getting wintry cozy vibes. Kept some of my Spode tree China out because I like it on the hutch so much and it only comes out at Holidays. But Santa’s , stockings and any Christmas signs are in their bins. My hubby took a nap on Sunday and when he came out to the living area, he was shocked it was all away. I am one of those people that if I get something on my mind... I go with it. Have a Happy New Year!!!❤️Leslie
Hello Crystal watching you clean I did some of that I took down some things as well not everything but like cleaning and putting things away again leaving some Wintry looks around the house as well when you were saying about your coffee machine your espresso it doesn’t look bad out but being you said you have a spot in the laundry room maybe you can have it in the laundry room and access it as well when you want to:-) The view from your window does look beautiful the snow very picturesque. You have a blessed and a happy new year
Happy New year! 🎆🎈🎊. I have a Keurig, Nespresso and a French press all out in coffee area that is not on our countertops. We are coffee drinkers and could not imagine not having our appliances out. We incorporate decor with our machines so they look nice while being out.
Happy New Year! I'll be taking my Christmas decor down this weekend. I do neutral with some Valentine's in the winter :-) We also have the Echo Show. Isn't it great?! We used it to "face time" with family on Christmas.
I decorate my tiered tray and my January planner spreads for winter. I don't decorate around my house for winter (typically) but you may have inspired me to add some! Happy New Year!!
I normally take all my Christmas down in one day ,but this year I have been doing a room a day. And I love it!! I have never decorated for winter always have gone straight to spring. But I have never really enjoyed doing it that way ,so I think I will leave some winter decor out this year!!! Can't wait for 2021! Have a Happy New Year, Crystal!💕
Happy New Year! I was sad to take my Christmas decor down also, I rarely use red in my everyday decor, so the red and green was so comforting and cozy, especially this year. I live in Southern California so I want winter ❄️ to last as long as possible. I left my manger out until the 7th, and I left some 'wintery' bottle brush trees out. In mid January, I'll do a little decorating for Valentines ❤️ day. I keep a neutral decor so I love adding colors for Holidays. Great video and yes that’s a beautiful view you have.
I can’t believe how early you take your Christmas stuff down. It’s not even New Years. Winter decor is cute, but I’m all about the Christmas at least until after the new year. Happy new year to you and your lovely family.
Absolutely decorated for winter! A few things flocked white, greens, grays, beige all neutral colors and clutter free. I dm’d you a picture. I keep flex brew out & now aerocinno. (Which I cant seem to master) Agree, not into the cluttered counters so I will check out what you come up with
Happy New Year Crystal & family & Subscribers. 🎉🎊🥂🍷. Since we live in a retirement community in Central Florida, I take down Christmas & go right into Spring. I do leave some red dish towels out for Valentines. I love watching the ladies video who has snow though, it's so pretty.
I love your winter decor. I left some of my trees , pine cones, my snowflake lights for my winter decor. Can’t wait to see how you do your living room. Happy New Year!!
I have a regular coffee pot and use a mokapot to make espresso on the stove top. I prefer an americano with cream and this is the smallest/space saving way to get my drink without all the gadgets and space taken up
I am in the same situation with the Nespresso machine and Keurig. I think my plan is to put the Keurig away once our restock of the coffee pods come in, and then bring it out as needed. I think we also got the same Nespresso model. :)
I so wish I had picked up the white snowmen, they are too cute and perfect for winter. I have been taking down my Christmas items over the past couple of days, leaving up some winter decor. All red is down for now.
Everything looks fresh and clean, very wintery. We have several more months of winter, so Christmas came down and my lodge decor will keep us cozy for a couple months. Happy New Year!!!
most all of my Christmas decor is winter themed. maybe 3 or 4 pieces need to get packed. my dining room stays Xmas all year after year. i don't use the area at all. my flocked wreath will stay on the outside til Feb. when i put the heart shaped pine cone wreath up...after that there is not much i do for spring/summer...i wait for Sept. to get the autumn decor out!
Happy New Year!! I think you should put your new coffee machine in your office. If you could set up a little coffee area or bar, I think you could make it real cute!
Sweet Crystal.... Happy New Year.... first let me tell you that you are just the cutest....I wish you were my neighbor!! Definitely not ready for spring.... I feel like we as a society tend to rush everything forward instead of enjoying the moment we are in. I will also put up a bit of winter decor in the same colors as you mentioned. I love the freshness it brings into my home after the holidays.
I have taken just about everything down and have packed it away for another year... All but the tree and the outdoor decor. I'll hang on to that till the day after New Years day. It's been a few days since I brought back my usual decor. What's fun, is trying those things in new ways. I'm still playing with them and I'm having fun with it. As you said, it is a little sad to take down Christmas, and yet, it's nice to clean up and bring back the things I had not seen in about two months. It's like they are new again!😁
I’m STILL taking down Christmas decor 🎄🎅🏻. I usually wait till the after the 5 of January as keeping with the 12 days of Christmas...and like you , I’m not sick of my Christmas decor‼️‼️ But like you again...I’ve had mine up for 2 months. ...I’m “ winter decorating “ as I live close to you 😉 ( Iowa) & it’s very much winter here. ❄️☃️ Because it gets dark early & the sun takes it time to come up in the morning...I’m keeping as much white along with fairy lights..so when I get home from work..I’m greeted with twinkling white lights...warm white throws & pillows..Very cozy 🤍 Enjoy ur channel ❤️
We keep both of our coffee makers on the counter. Convenient. I’m taking one or two rooms apart each day. I’ll miss Christmas. The rooms look so bare. Have a Happy New Year.
I decorat for winter, then add the red for Christmas. After Christmas I take down the red and leave the winter decor out. We are in Germany and it's could here at least till February. Definitely not ready for spring yet. 🙂
Happy New Year!🎉 It's going to be better! I do the same taking down decor & then green, wood & white! So calming & refreshing ☺️ Winters in Michigan are very long! FYI, Target has adorable spring things out now...rainbow decor in Dollar spot for the kiddos! Xoxo☃️🎉🙏🙏🙏🙏
Happy New Years Eve! Who’s ready for 2021?! ❤️
Meee!
I'm ready for 2021 if it means lifting lockdown & no more masks.🥳
Me!!!

Put a coffee station down in your basement ready for movie nights xx happy new year to you all 😘
Love it all, very pretty! I like to decorate with snowmen in January. Tfs
Took all my decorations down over the last two days and I cried:( I could keep it up all winter ❄️
I got choked up with the living room decor - so sad.
I decorate for Valentines day after Christmas.
Great idea. So its no so blah

Agree with the winter decor. You have time find it during Christmas!

I’ve been watching your videos from a year ago and got this notification. Great way to wrap up 2020.
I do decorate for winter, I love to use Snowmen in my winter decorations😊
I definitely keep out whatever winter decor I can. It’s too depressing to take everything down...and I love winter!
Winter until late March. My husband is the coffee drinker. We set up a coffee station in our dining room. Keurig and Nespresso. I saw the snowman trio in your video and I immediately ordered them. They are perfect for trays.

That’s what I did this year... slowly taking down Christmas decor from room to room. I found it wasn’t so overwhelming that way.
Exactly! So nice to not be so rushed.
I have a Nespresso and a Keurig. I display both and usually have one of each, every other day. I love them both!!
I keep up my snowmen and other wintry decorations. Wish I had your snow. ❄️☃️ I love winter!
My family ended up making a little coffee bar with all of our coffee makers! And that way we have cleared up counter space and both coffee machines are on display on a little table in the kitchen!

I never knew there was such a thing as winter decor we must be behind here in Ireland or is it just me 🙋♀️🇮🇪👍
I started decorating for Christmas in October and, like you, I’m not sick of them! Thanks for all your awesome videos!! God bless and wishing you a happy and prosperous New Year!! xo~Amy
I am a Christmas to Winter decorator...which is how I found your channel! So glad I did. Finding lots of ideas and inspo already.
Thanks so much. I like how you decorate your kitchen and dining room, it looks so fresh and airy.
I totally do some winter decor also. Jan and Feb are the heart of winter for me here in Canada. So I totally agree with you, can’t get into spring as yet.
I am watching old videos from years past. I need motivation for taking Christmas decor down (I love it so much). Thank you so much
That's what I do when I shop for decor too. 😊
I'd probably turn the buffet table in the dining room (the one with two lamps) into a coffee bar. Ya girl loves her coffee though.
Enjoy!
Linda
Thanks, Linda!! I does feel refreshing to have less clutter!
I use my Keurig daily so it is on my counter and I have my Nespresso in my coffee station because I use that on the weekends .
I always clean up before New Year’s Day. It feels like a clean, calm way to start the new year! Thanks for the motivation! We also have fiesta, so it was nice to display my pretty colors out again.
cleaning videos do inspire me to get it done. never done winter theme decor but love it. Have a wonderful weekend
"Happy New Year, to you and yours!" Be healthy, wealthy and of course...SAFE!!!!
It is too early for spring decor, I would be sick of it by spring if out now, lol. I do leave some winter type things out til end of January.
Me too 🤗☃️❄️
LOL! I have since taken the tree down.
Happy 2021
Happy New Year! I’m going to do a few pieces for Valentines Day before spring decor.
I put neutral decor out after Christmas, and I will add touches of things for Valentine’s Day, St. Pat’s Day, and Easter.
Definitely decorate for winter and valentines day.
Yes! I can't wait for Valentines Day!
I love watching your thinking process. Love the way it turned out. Looking forward to more of your videos. Happy new year to you and your family.
I actually go straight to Valentines Day after Christmas. I love that holiday and my anniversary is on Valentines Day so I do go big for that holiday.
How fun!! Happy early Anniversary!!
I’m leaving most of my Christmas decor up another week. I’m just not ready to see it go. Then I will transition to just winter for a while.
I live in Wisconsin, it’s definitely winter but I’m already starting to decorate with greens. Lots of greenery and a few valentine decorations
Definitely a big motivation for me! Over here cleaning and taking down Christmas I love our echo show and jamming music while cleaning.
You have a blessed and a happy new year
Your family is very blessed to have you make their home so cozy. 🥰
(Which I cant seem to master) Agree, not into the cluttered counters so I will check out what you come up with
Have you tried 2% milk in Aeroccino with a drop or two of half & half..that usually froths nicely..good luck & Happy New Year
Thank you Crystal, I was feeling overwhelmed today. Taking down every room is exhausted.
I put it put one room at a time and plan to take it down that way to. No hurry since alot of restrictions here so I'm not planning to go anywhere
I love your winter decor. I left some of my trees , pine cones, my snowflake lights for my winter decor. Can’t wait to see how you do your living room. Happy New Year!!
I have a regular coffee pot and use a mokapot to make espresso on the stove top. I prefer an americano with cream and this is the smallest/space saving way to get my drink without all the gadgets and space taken up
The snow looks beautiful!! Its chilly where I live today but we don't ever get snow. Love your winter decor!
I am in the same situation with the Nespresso machine and Keurig. I think my plan is to put the Keurig away once our restock of the coffee pods come in, and then bring it out as needed. I think we also got the same Nespresso model. :)
I put both my Keurig and Nespresso on my counter. I found it easier access to have both machines. Happy New Year🥰
I so wish I had picked up the white snowmen, they are too cute and perfect for winter.
I got a nesspreso too, I keep them both on my counter .
Happy New Year! I agree way to early for Spring- I don’t keep my Espresso on the counter it’s not something I drink everyday.
Thank you for this! Putting away Christmas decor is overwhelming. Great idea to do a room at a time. Love your tips and beautiful, clean home!
Xoxo☃️🎉🙏🙏🙏🙏
I do winter in jan. Valentines is feb. St patricks in march and easter depending on which month it falls in.
Here in Ireland we Generally only decorate for Christmas 🎄
