- A few weeks ago I tored the knee in my jeans and rather than throw them out I decided to make them look like they are supposed to be ripped up. I am aware there are thousands of these kinda of videos on TH-cam but I wanted to create one anyway. Hope you enjoy :)

Mi_Sabel TV Actually, in most factories there are workers who take the jeans given, and make holes with sandpaper. Workers usually have that job specifically; meaning more payrolls the company/factory needs to pay, making the price for the jeans rise.

I've watched so many DIY distressed jean type videos and it wasn't until now that i've realised that you need to pull the BLUE thread out, pretty obvious but i never thought about it properly and the technique that you used makes a lot more sense too. Loved the video!! x

Might wanna change the title of your video. Salvage jeans are a special way of stitching the jeans together in the out seam. It's called a distressed jean

It is music you can use commercially with permission from the artist and without having to pay them royalties. Google "what is royalty free music" to get a proper definition and then you can search to find artists. Kevin Macleod, Dano Songs are a couple and TH-cam just created their own library of music.

Ally R. when I do this it took just like 35 mins. it's takes forever. if you are lazy like me it took so long like almost 1 hour to make it look much better

this was SO Helpful thanks LOTS I've been looking forward to diy-ing one of these but couldn't really cause I wasn't sure what the person meant when they brought up "wash,"I was really confused because like another youtuber "laurdiy" she made this vid and after everything she said something close to "now we can put these in the wash" I was so curious that I'd mess up the pants because she wasn't descriptive saying to put them for example with Soap,Alone,with something, so I was confused till this vid so thnx again for this great tutorial!

I will be doing this today to a pair of Levis that I've currently had for almost 7 years... but after a having kids (two boys) and being on the floor playing cars and blocks, there are holes in the knees. and thank you for the nail polish name. I'm getting a pedicure next week and will take this color in.
