Kim tippin turns again. I knew when the road turned dark for you god would step in. I’m very happy that you are back to doing what you love so much. You are a true artist and Christian. God bless you and your family!
Very much enjoy your wood turning videos. And most of all appreciate your bold, concise, and simple sharing of your faith. May God continue to bless you and your family.
Welcome back Kim. Keep the voiceovers. Have you considered the use of dowel centers? It would allow you to not drill through the lid and therefore hide the brass rod. Drill the hole in the body , insert dowel center, place lid and press to make a center mark for the hole in the lid. They come in imperial and metric sizes and many are less than $10.
Very Nice! Glad you are back to sharing videos. It was way too long. Would love a video of the finished yard and maybe a little of the house you worked on so hard if you are willing. Thank you for sharing. God is Good!
Having watched your last video with talking and this one without it really didn't matter to me both are great please keep making more and thanks for sharing your thoughts and videos
That one seemed to go smoother. I prefer the narration, it’s always great to pick up tips and tricks plus it just makes it that much more fun to watch.
Very nice! Beautiful piece of wood. New turner so I enjoy watching and learning. Don’t really care for the videos that skip over the steps and details. Yours are very well done. I recently made a lidded jug and I put a mortise inside the lid with some nice beads/lines like 3 so not only does it look nice visually outside but also when you remove the lid. I’ve noticed that anytime someone opens it they always look at the inside of the lid so I thought why not make it pop too! So happy to see you posting again. 😊
I always love your videos and this one was no different. Im glad you redid the process after wjat happened last time. I do have to say, I missed you talking during the video. However, you do your videos the way you want and ignore those that criticize your project!❤
It is so good to see you back. I like hearing you talk. But sometimes just watching the work is good too. So mix it up a bit. Suggestion for the dent. Put some rubber feet on the bottom, one right over the dent 😃 and it would prevent it from sliding on the counter.
Nice work. My wife asked me to make her one of these just yesterday so finding your video is really helpful. On the voiceover thing… I think I prefer a little narration or captions explaining the process as the project progresses.
Love the workmen ship as far as your talking rather your novice might want to hear what your thinking I seen several of the videos. I did like the pre drilling good planning I have a lot of ❤for you and your spiritual thoughts
For an experienced woodturner the silent videos are easy to track. I mainly watch for tool usage/techniques and blank mounting. Your cards saying tools/items that are in use are enough even for beginners. Unless you are making instructional videos then the silence is fine. There are so many YT vids out there to show beginners tool usage I don't think you need to explain what you are doing. Don't get me wrong, short comments are welcome too but you are crafting, not instructing. Lovely work again.
Very nice Kim. I also like commentary. Have you ever thought of doing a segmented turning? I Recently got into doing it and really enjoy it. God bless you and your family.
Dust off those tools girl, glad to see you back. Nice project, beautiful wood and a skillful touch. So you have a place to turn now? Thanks for the video.
Congratulations! I take it you know why patience is a virtue. Lol I have a couple turners to check out; Sprague woodturning and Gao wood lab. Both very talented turners. Nice to see you back, keep your tools sharp and your mind open.
Talking is good because that is how we know what your dimensions are as well as learning your techniques. The video was good, but it didn’t help me out much learning how to make the salt cellar.
I think talking is better. It's kinda boring without it. Otherwise it's a beautiful piece and you did a great job with it. Keep the videos coming, I really like them
Yes, I did... Months ago. I was standing on a large piece of wood while drilling it. It slipped. I was standing on my thumb along with the wood I was drilling. Dumb idea. Thank you!
Good to see you turning again, God bless you.
😊I am happy happy!!!!!
Very nice work...missed your commentary...stay safe...press on 😎Joe
Fantastic work 🎉
I'm so glad you're back! That turned out really nice, ding and all!
Kim tippin turns again. I knew when the road turned dark for you god would step in. I’m very happy that you are back to doing what you love so much. You are a true artist and Christian. God bless you and your family!
It turned out well. Beautiful wood. Perfect for a salt cellar.
Kim, speaking or not speaking, doesn't matter to me. I love your work regardless. Beautiful piece once again.
Very nice wood and simple design....like hearing your voice during turning...better turning method..i will have to try making one..

You have not lost your touch.
It’s fun to watch your videos.
I bought this for my daughter and she loves it! It is beautiful, as always! Thank you, bless you, and be the blessing!
Do miss the chatty Kim ;-). Great project. Glad to see everything coming together for you. SDG
Very pretty. I love your voice over.
You haven't lost it Kim, welcome back!
As long as there’s no loud music, I could watch your videos all day. Very glad you’re back.
Very nice piece. I enjoy the turning more when you speak. I'm in the process of coming back to turning as well so I understand your feelings.
Nice to see you back Kim and doing videos again. We missed you!! Looking forward to many more kid!
Beautiful work as always. It’s great to see you back to doing what you love. Blessings and love from Texas.

Beautiful salt cellar, Kim. 😊😊
Beautiful peace love the design and the Finish. Also glad to see that you're back
Well done, YL. Your work is always first rate and it great to watch.
Wow Kim. I was so surprised to find your videos again. Good to have you back.

It is a beauty! Welcome back!
Heureuse de te revoir 😗
Beautiful!

We are so back! You love to see it!
Enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing

Awesome idea!
Enjoyed the video my friend, thank you.
Good to see you turning again. You can laser engrave your logo on the bottom! Comes out great.
I need that to go next to my Tanya Beecher bowl that I have.
I always love your videos and this one was no different. Im glad you redid the process after wjat happened last time. I do have to say, I missed you talking during the video. However, you do your videos the way you want and ignore those that criticize your project!❤
Well, it turned out perfectly. The little ding you can write off as a feature 😁. Brilliant video Kim
Thank you!
😮cool you did a great job on this
Bring back the commentary Kim! I was expecting your husband to do the voice over at anytime thinking you had laryngitis again!
Hi Kim, The salt cellar is beautiful. I like the close fit of the box and lid. Really miss hearing your voice though. All the best from Alaska.
Thanks so much 😊
It is so good to see you back. I like hearing you talk. But sometimes just watching the work is good too. So mix it up a bit. Suggestion for the dent. Put some rubber feet on the bottom, one right over the dent 😃 and it would prevent it from sliding on the counter.
Like the voice over a lot better. Very nice box!!
Nice work. My wife asked me to make her one of these just yesterday so finding your video is really helpful.
On the voiceover thing… I think I prefer a little narration or captions explaining the process as the project progresses.
Great job!
Looks great.
Looks nice, Kim. You fixed all the stuff you wanted to in your last video. I'll watch whether you talk or not.
Bill
Very nice job. I prefer the narration and when you explain what is going on, however the video was still entertaining
love it. keep it going.
BEAUTIFUL JOB SISTER!!!
TY, Brother!

This one looks good as well as the other. I like the grain on this one better though. I like when you talk through your projects as well.
Nice little project other than a bowl. The “no talking” format is fine, it all depends what you are trying to do. Demo, teach or just show.
Magnífica la caja 👍👍
Looks good, Kim!
Thanks Billy!
Good job and welcome back!
I do like a voice over
It seems to help understand the process but some videos can explain themselves w/o and I think this is one of those
Nice piece
Love it!
Why is only one of your safety crocs in 4wd? 😂
I’m so glad to see you back in the shop turning again. ❤️
my husband asks me that all the time. maybe one foot has a tendency to get stuck more than the other. lol
@@KimTippin😂😂😂
I’m just messing with you. I’m glad to see you back in your happy place. ❤️
😂🤣😉🤗
you like the new shop
Very nice Kim. I also like commentary. Have you ever thought of doing a segmented turning? I Recently got into doing it and really enjoy it. God bless you and your family.
Thank you!
I would love to. I just will NOT use a table saw. I will have to set my jig up on my band saw. Eventually I will get to that.
Dust off those tools girl, glad to see you back. Nice project, beautiful wood and a skillful touch. So you have a place to turn now? Thanks for the video.
house and shop both finished! PTL!
Congratulations! I take it you know why patience is a virtue. Lol I have a couple turners to check out; Sprague woodturning and Gao wood lab. Both very talented turners. Nice to see you back, keep your tools sharp and your mind open.
Kim on the negative rake scraper used at 5:58, what are the two angles you are grinding it? Top and Bottom. Love the piece.
Beautiful work, Kim.
tbh, I kinda prefer the commentary. 😊
Thank you for your input! I appreciate you! Hope you and the family are well!
Very nice. Where did you get the hardware? Was it a kit?
No kit. Links for the rods and magnets are in the description.
So glad you are back, always enjoy your videos. Instead of burning your logo, have you tried your laser? If you still have it. :-)
I still have it. I am just too lazy to get it set up . I am going to have to because I am doing a horrible job with the hand held burner. :/
Talking is good because that is how we know what your dimensions are as well as learning your techniques. The video was good, but it didn’t help me out much learning how to make the salt cellar.
ty for the input!
You're not narrating your videos anymore? I always enjoyed the running commentary
I think talking is better. It's kinda boring without it. Otherwise it's a beautiful piece and you did a great job with it. Keep the videos coming, I really like them
Thank you, I will!
Voice overs
ty for the input!
I prefer some voiceovers.
My wife said “Wow, did she smash her thumb?” 😲
Hope you’re okay. 🙃
Yes, I did... Months ago. I was standing on a large piece of wood while drilling it. It slipped. I was standing on my thumb along with the wood I was drilling. Dumb idea. Thank you!
This is not Kim, this is a man look at the hands
lol
I have man hands?!?! lol
I always thought so too.
Oh well... Blessed to have two....even if they are manly. 🤗
I am glad to see you turning again, God bless...
