Just Immense! A truly amazing aircraft to fly on. The closest thing to a 5* hotel in the skies. Fantastic achievement from Airbus and superb capture on video. 10/10
A video I keep going back to ... just PERFECT. Great editing and lovely filming. Stunning use of ATC too. Just great to have no f`ing music. And the lovely ending .. just right .. stunning!
Emirates is a very good airline and I love the Economy class seats on the A380 and they feel comfortable and I love the Ice entertainment system and the food is exquisite but best is the boarding music
WOW OUTSTANDING. Great job Really nicely filmed. I love the way you keep the camera still and no music ... thank you. Lovely ending mute with just the atc goodbye .. very classy. A lovely piece of film.
Thank you for this excellent video and editing. Love or hate the A380's photogenic status.. it always demands attention and this video simply shows that. Thanks again!
Now thats one bright shiny big ass plane! I managed to see one taking off in person at LHR whilst I was waiting to check in for my flight to JFK last summer.....amazinggg!!! Brilliant video- thanks!
This is a first rate video, good photography, really good sound. You must have a heck of a telephoto lense. Thanks so much for bringing us right onto the field.
I also can't believe that A380s are looking nearly the same today as it was about a decade ago! Mind-blowing how the A380s stay exactly the same in look for a decade!!! Very mind-blown!
The A380s in 2010 look almost exactly the same as now! So much same that the A380 doesn't even look old at all! No differences! When I first saw this video, before looking at the date it was filmed, I literally thought that this was recent! Maybe I got an idea that it wasn't, it was long time ago, when I saw that you filmed the pushback as well, which is usually not filmed.
Amazing Filming. Amazing Panning. Perfect Views. Perfect ATC Crisp and Clear. Immense Quality. Loved the bit where she lifted of and the taxi on! Must have been amazing to get so close! I can tell you one thing standing under those engines was a great feeling but getting this close with all 4 EA Engines running up is even better! Had to watch a couple of times ;) Keep it up!
That is awesome,i like to get to the airport just as a spectator now and then, the area where you shot this video, how do i get there from the airport itself, can i get a bus or do i have to get a taxi?..........John
I was just watching the engines and I have a question. Do the engines send power to the wheels like a car or do they produce thrust and push the plane along the runway?
I love this aircraft. Went on it from Dubai to Bangkok. Very smooth flight. Emirates pilots make the best landings out of all of the airlines. Nice Vid :)
@doryanishayan It's simple physics. If you have two engines, they'll be running faster than four engines. The curved fan blades obviously help, but the amount of engines counts too. Also, the outer two are farther from the cabin, which also affects the sound a bit.
Just been to New Zealand and most of my flights were in one of these (except one leg in the 777) what a fantastic aircraft, so smooth and a dream to fly in
@zeickus completely different planes and that 787 figure might be under 500 following cancellations and deferrals, how many passenger 748`s have been ordered?
Hello, Nice video and not too long. I hardly come across a video that I have seen before, so much new content out the on TH-cam. Keep the good work up. Looking forward to more.
Amazing video dude! Fantastic HD video quality, beautiful sound and ATC. Great timing too! Only the Emirates 380 is the major plane seen in the video. Once again, awesome video! Keep it up man, I subbed you! :-)
you have to admire the engineering and design of such a aircraft but i just find it hard to get excited over these newer greener type aircraft!!they are kind of all the same as each other when you visit the airport nowadays, give me a load of bac 1-11's (pocket rockets) and noisy stuff like that any day of the week!!!good footage though, well done!!
@topgunphill I am not familiar with ATC in the UK, but Germany has 3 big ATC centers that control the entire german airspace. You can take off from Dortmund and be asked to contact Bremen control, 200 miles north. Maybe english airspace was very busy and english ATC asked their scottish colleagues to help cover the northern part of England? ATC doesnt have to follow country frontiers either, of course, radio waves dont care about countries.
I've got to see that for real where abouts did u stand to see this? I see it most days going over, the second day it flew into Manchester I was near Stockport College and it stopped the traffic at the junction...just epic xxx
@doryanishayan The 777's engines produce, on average, 115000 lb thrust per engine. Meanwhile, the A380 produces only 76.5k lb thrust per engine. Even the the A380 has four engines, the outer two are farther from the cabin, not to mention the newer engines.
@Joeaviation1712 Scottish control zone is bigger than just Scotland. The south "border" is near Manchester. The Departure lead the pilots north bound into the Scottish control zone
the place I got taught how to fly (barton, manchester) said you should only use reverse thrust to brake the plane and to take it off about 60 knots. and also you can only reverse thrust to reverse the plane where ther is not much traffic around because it can affect other planes .
i first thought this was flight simulator...with that opening shot! damn!!! how real simulators are! does emirates a380 usually operate to/from manchester? i thought just london?
I'm going on this plane on October 31st. From Manchester to Dubai. Then Dubai to Sydney! I hope it's a good flight. I imagine a flight that long the novelty will wear off :/
@icedtofu the fan blades of 777 are straight... thats why... the fan blades of a380 and the new 787 dreamliner are not straight... they are kinda swept ... if u know what i mean... :)
@trucker6749 THANK YOU!!!! People dont understand that Boeing and Airbus are the top two aerospace companies in the world, they make the best and most popular planes in the world, you never hear about Bombardier and Embraer competing or Lockheed and McDonnell Douglas arguments,!!!
Fantastic video, could I just ask, when does the A380 takeoff on 23L again? Usually it uses 23R, thanks.
Just Immense! A truly amazing aircraft to fly on. The closest thing to a 5* hotel in the skies. Fantastic achievement from Airbus and superb capture on video. 10/10

What a sight... I love air-planes and I love Emirates and watching the A380 is the best view ever!
Just beautiful!! Just beautiful... I have been on Singapore A380 coming back from Manila and I loved it!! Thats a great HD Video.Thank you.
Very nice camera work. I appreciate the crispness and stability of your video and the neat cuts.
You are so professional. I really enjoy watching. I have been flying with A380 Emirate a few times.
I was waiting for thi video!! departure of the a380 in this runway!! thank you!! what a beauty
Thanks for uploading this. Great filming again!
Your very lucky in my eyes. I have not had the fortune to see an A380 in person yet. Love your videos!
Mindblowing! What a beautiful sight :)🥰
Now thats one bright shiny big ass plane! I managed to see one taking off in person at LHR whilst I was waiting to check in for my flight to JFK last summer.....amazinggg!!!
Brilliant video- thanks!
beautiful sight and fantastic footage!
We were actually looking at the pilot!!! :-)
Thanks a lot for sharing....what an amazing airplane!
This is a first rate video, good photography, really good sound. You must have a heck of a telephoto lense. Thanks so much for bringing us right onto the field.
ECELLENT video! Great camera shots, got the radio traffic and all. PRO job!
I also can't believe that A380s are looking nearly the same today as it was about a decade ago! Mind-blowing how the A380s stay exactly the same in look for a decade!!! Very mind-blown!

Best video I have seen yet of the 380 at MAN, good work.
That flies right overhead my workplace every day on its approach to Manchester, looks awesome.
Such a cool video, cheers for sharing! Had the privilege of flying this in July '11 except we took off in the other direction on the other runway :)
A380 is awesome... It looks stable and clear diamond in the sky.
superb quality piece of filming! thank you
Excellent video, excellent quality, excellent spot, perfect aircraft!! Cheers man!
Nice video. I just went first class on the Emirates A380 from Manchester! Thought I'd see what it looked like from the outside. Nice :)
They look so gracefully just after they become airborne. Watched a couple of videos and there's something about the A380 as they lift off.
I have a feeling that I was the first officer in that exact flight
@David170390 The engines provide thrust and the thrust speeds through the air. Good question for those who didnt know.
Agreed, but the cover is still amazing!
I love this aircraft. Went on it from Dubai to Bangkok. Very smooth flight. Emirates pilots make the best landings out of all of the airlines. Nice Vid :)
Me too! I’ve ALWAYS LOVED Emirates Airlines! ESPECIALLY the AIRBUS GIANT A380(s)!!
beautifuly edited video and air traffic conversation. Well done!
now I really wanna know how u got those radio convo's between the crew and the ATC!! pls pls
Beautiful! Great shot choice & panning.
I been in the A380's copla time now and WHAT an excellent beast of a machine it is!

@zeickus completely different planes and that 787 figure might be under 500 following cancellations and deferrals, how many passenger 748`s have been ordered?
@doryanishayan That is because the 777 two engines, which means more thrust per engine.
Hello,
Nice video and not too long. I hardly come across a video that I have seen before, so much new content out the on TH-cam. Keep the good work up. Looking forward to more.
agree wif everyone.....but im still curious,hw did u get those voice recordings of the pilots and first officer???
Love those engines spooling up right before takeoff...beautiful sound.
Was that Mrs. Doubtfire rockin' the mike in the control tower?
Amazing video dude! Fantastic HD video quality, beautiful sound and ATC. Great timing too! Only the Emirates 380 is the major plane seen in the video. Once again, awesome video! Keep it up man, I subbed you! :-)

were was the vidio taken from cos it doesnt look like the veiwing park niether does it look like its from the pub any ideas
why did he go onto 23L, was it late?

Excellent video especially the high quality!
@ashrazor911 you have to use an airband radio
thankx
I've got to see that for real where abouts did u stand to see this? I see it most days going over, the second day it flew into Manchester I was near Stockport College and it stopped the traffic at the junction...just epic xxx
@paduajoseph i thought the engines they are build with were trent 1000's?
question is emirates Dubai route very bust if there use a big plane like the a380 and a 777?
beautiful...but how did you get to film it from so close??
@101HeyNow the 767 has had the same problem 737 and 757 have problems with fueselage cracks everything has its problems...
thanks for videoing my flight to dubai it was brill and going again next month
congratulations on 1,000,000 views Jett203!
@03svtgtr
I guess technically they're only part Pratt, the GP7000 being a product of the Engine Alliance (a Pratt/GE joint venture) :)
@doryanishayan The 777's engines produce, on average, 115000 lb thrust per engine. Meanwhile, the A380 produces only 76.5k lb thrust per engine. Even the the A380 has four engines, the outer two are farther from the cabin, not to mention the newer engines.

I was once on Virgin 747 VS77 Waiting to take off as the Emirates A380 was taking off.
It created so much thrust! Grass was on a 180 degrees!
Wow Jett203 I really enjoy watching all of your videos, Emirates has to pay you money for this good advertisement.
POWER FULL THANKS FOR UPLOADING REGARDS FROM UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

Awesome video how do you get atc conversations ?
This is filmed on the opposite side of the aviation viewing park. How do you get over this side?
Aviation at it's best! Great video, nice range of shots. Liked.
wow what a view, where were you standing???
@JIM50
Use a scanner and tune it to the airport's ATC frequency.
i went on the A380 about a week ago from Hong Kong then from Dubai to Manchester. The wings on these planes are huge!! and it is alot more quit inside
Good job with a fantastic HD video
Been on a a380 business class it's awesome
Very nice quality, beautiful video !!!
i first thought this was flight simulator...with that opening shot! damn!!! how real simulators are! does emirates a380 usually operate to/from manchester? i thought just london?
could you hear the pilot and instructor talking while filming?
I don't care if my ears are bleeding from the sound of the engines. It's all worth it. 😍😍❤️❤️
I'm going on this plane on October 31st. From Manchester to Dubai. Then Dubai to Sydney! I hope it's a good flight. I imagine a flight that long the novelty will wear off :/
Fantastic Shot,s and looks great leaving on 23L:)
the wing tip vortices on that must be insane
Yep, but I'm not sure if there are as many :) all the times I've heard an EK on a radio it seems to be a pilot from one of the countrys above :)
@icedtofu the fan blades of 777 are straight... thats why... the fan blades of a380 and the new 787 dreamliner are not straight... they are kinda swept ... if u know what i mean... :)
what camera was used? the quality is really good!!!
how do you hear the radio
Even though I still like 747 better, this A380 is soooooooooooooooooo beautiful.... what an amazing plane!
does this aircraft leave Manchester at a certain time each day ?
how did you get the ATC transmission live?
nice catch!!thanks for sharing and uploading!! keep up!!
@saranghaelove1 But these aren't trents, Emirates uses the engines made by both GE and PW for their A380s :p
the best manchester take off video
Love it, flew to Los Angeles on Emirates A380. My first ever flight.
@trucker6749 THANK YOU!!!! People dont understand that Boeing and Airbus are the top two aerospace companies in the world, they make the best and most popular planes in the world, you never hear about Bombardier and Embraer competing or Lockheed and McDonnell Douglas arguments,!!!
does Emirates operate Dubai - Manchester with A380s or was this an emergency diversion?
@Mrlego2011 What a random statement. Whom do you refer too?, as regard this video?
good quality, what Camera you use?
@yoDog421
The noise wont pop your ears. A380 is really, really quiet
Great video, I have only seen the Whale jet once and it was in LAX and it was hard to see I was on the other side of the airport :(
great video ! what camera, and editting software did you use for this ? Thanks
