I was hoping you'd discover Louis! Also, thank you for literally saying "this guy can sing" because nobody ever says that enough and it's baffling to me ❤
Imagine if this song ever played on the radio. He'd gain millions of fans overnight. The whole music industry payola and whatever BS machinations keep him off the radio and playlists and for whatever industry BS reason he's kept with no promotion or PR for his music but the quality of his music stands tall and breaks through to those who are lucky enough to discover it. I also don't understand the ending of the video, and most of the points being made in it, but I imagine you have to spend some time absorbing and analyzing as if it's a master poem and a deep art movie, because that's usually how he rolls.
Louis is amazing. He has a particularly beautiful voice, but he is even more of an incredible songwriter, in fact most of 1D's discography was written by him. He is undoubtedly one of the most underrated artists in the industry, which unfairly keeps him on a blacklist for fear of his great power.
He's a genius vocally and lyrically. You need to listen to the whole Faith in the Future album. All the songs are great and different vibes. Thx for checking out Louis.
I absolutely love seeing people discover louis and directly being blown away, he´s soo underrated!! If you wanna check out more mv´s you should start with "Bigger Than Me" and "Out Of My System", both from his latest album!! After those I´d suggest watching the "We Made It": Directors Cut (3 music videos combined, telling a story) from his first album. :)
yooooo the line you missed was “you said grass was a dirty drug, you like to preach with a vodka in your mug” which is one of absolute favourite lyrics of his, it’s so witty and funny and at the same time hits so hard cause you know people like that
Silver Tongues mv is filled with a visual dichotomy of isolation vs community/connection, and those themes really reflect beautifully with the song. I could go through each story thread in the vid but I want to draw attention to the 2 storylines that allude to queerness in a subtle way. 1) The blonde girl staring out her window with clenched fists & the black-haired girl in the red car who’s staring back. They’re isolated by their separation. The black-haired girl is never really connecting to the 2 boys in the front seat who are having a great time together. The lighting & shot choices for the blonde girl imply she’s withdrawn from life outside in the world, but there’s an internal struggle suggesting she doesn’t want to be hidden inside anymore 2) The black boy in the middle of the 3 guys smoking outside a house are clearly friends, and the boy has a lot of love with his friends. But maybe that’s not the only kind of love he wants bcuz when you feel different sometimes you need to connect to people who understand that part of you. So throughout the night, he finds a different connection at a party with someone who’s like him (the visibly queer person in the red hat). Their connection might even be a romantic one bcuz they seem to have the flirtiest interaction in a video that heavily showcases platonic & familial connection. There’s many different forms of community on display in the video & that’s why the ending shot is brilliant & emotional for me
Oh wow. Never seen a reaction to music videos like the ones you do. As a Louis fan I am very happy you got distracted by his voice and the song itself. Yeah if you like this song you should check out the full album Faith in the Future.
His voice is unique which is why I love it..definitely watch more of his videos and maybe dive into into 1D videos too. You will see how Harry and Louis were in the band. Their videos are so fun!!
Loved your reaction! Overall the video is about how "home" isn't necessarily where you live, but who you surround yourself with. They all look angry, defeated, sad at home (because parents/politics/poverty/all of the above), but when they're together things are okay because they have each other - even when they fight amongst themselves. All of his videos have great stories, can't wait to see you do another one!
great reaction! as you can tell by other comments Louis fans are very protective over him (me included) he’s a great person and artist, always promoting and helping indie bands & songwriters also just very very appreciative of his fans and the community we’ve built!
I began following you when you did Harry Styles reactions and I’m so glad you are now doing Louie. I am one of many seniors who follow Louie’s music and everything Louie related. He is an extremely talented writer, singer/entertainer and a wonderful human being. Thanks for your reaction and continue to follow Louie please.
Louis's music is underrated for some reason I don't know why but I love it so much he's incredible his personality and the songs are so so good he deserves more attention because his songs are so incredible and I'm so happy you liked it Louis deserves more love and support and his fandom is incredible💙💙💙💚💙💙💙💙💙💙💙 and he has an amazing voice and every thing about him is amazing 💙
Love it! Louis fans appreciate such positive reactions to his music. The things you were critical about I think would make sense if you knew more about him and his story, because everything he does means something and the people in that video are representing real friends and family and his younger self. Living in shadows, imposed self doubt and ideas like that are all represented here. The final shot is also pretty significant to the fandom. But again, thankyou for such open and positive thoughts on our Louis!! We'd literally die for this man.
Doncaster is a harsh environment. The lights is perfect for it . Charlie lightning knows the area and the lifestyle. Louis knows the music for it. Silver tongues is the name of a brand of shoes it's talking about the tongue of the shoes.
I’m so happy you love this song!! Louis’ voice is so underrated and it has been even since the one direction days which is so sad because his voice is soooo unique people just don’t get it! I’ve been in the fandom since 2012 (all the way back when one direction were still together) and I’ve always hyped louis up because not only is his voice so beautiful and unique he’s just a genuinely loving, crazy guy who was really a big factor in the group both vocally and personality wise, one direction definitely wouldn’t have been the same without him. His solo music just keeps getting better and better and his latest album Faith In The Future is absolutely amazing and he said himself he’s the most proud of this album because he feels like he’s finally making the music that he wants to make and that it fits him the best. He’s also an amazing song writer, he wrote the most songs for one direction along with Liam being a close second, and Louis still writes his own songs to this day. I’d also love it if you could react to the music video to the one direction song you & I? With you being a video editor I have a feeling you will have a lot to say about that video! Love your reactions!🤍
Thank you so so much for reacting to this! Louis voice was unique in One Direction because he doesn't belt or do runs, which unfortunately meant lots of people criticised him as the weakest one. However when Louis comes in he can be heartbreaking and draws so much focus. This is a great video, I think the lighting choices are to show who you're meant to be focusing on in each one. I think the 3 boys are 3 different stages of growing up, and then you get the close ups of each one seperately, so the full shots not meant to have them all in the light. The street is the same London street that they filmed One Directions Midnight Memories music video, which works so well with this story of memories with friends and feeling like your friends are family when you're together. The last shot, is very reminiscent of the movie This Is England. I'd love for you to cover the Directors Cut of We Made It, its 3 songs in one mini film. Louis works a lot with Charlie Lightening, who works with Oasis, and did Louis Documentary film that came out this year
@Videoeditorreacts The Directors Cut is 3 songs from his first solo album, which he has said he was holding back musically and still finding his way. They're good songs, but maybe they won't hit as hard as this one. His newest album, Faith in the Future, which this one is from, you can really feel his confidence and finding his place solo. It's my most played album!
I had not noticed that it is the same street as the 1 Direction video Midnight Memory!! That adds a whole other layer to the meaning for the song. Well it cemented what I already thought. Louis does nothing careless or by chance. Him choosing that set is a big deal.
My favorite song off Faith in the future. In concert it is phenomenal. I love when people react to the change in tempo. Reminds me of the first time listening.
I loved the video! About the lighting I love his 'Walls' video, from his first album. We made it, Kill my mind and Don't let it break your heart are so interesting. Most of his videis feature friends and the band. Back to you was a single with Bebe Rexha, filmed on his hometown. But the video Two of us is in black and white. Your lighting perspective there would be interesting. I cannot express how much I love Louis' voice. In case you wondered there are lyric videos and spotify has lyrics too. Bigger than me was shot in Iceland ❤
i’m so glad you liked his voice!!! and btw abt the ending the people are standing in groups of 3, 6 and 9 (without counting louis) which makes the number 369 that louis uses a lot throughout his work but wouldnt tell us what it means (at least not yet) i hope that helped!
I’ve been watching your Taylor Swift & Zayn reactions, now it’s an absolute pleasure to watch discover the talent & underrated Louis Tomlinson!! He’s faced a lot of upheaval personally & professionally to get where he is and make the music he wants. He’s actually confirmed to be blacklisted from radio play, likely bcuz of his resistance to powerful ppl in the music industry starting back in OneDirection. This fandom is very loyal to him & Louis loves his fans so much. He has probably the best relationship with his fans of any artist (i say this as a lifelong Tay fan) His sophomore album Faith in the Future went #1 in the UK despite his still being blacklisted to this day. I recommend the ‘We Made It’ Director’s Cut from his debut album Walls and ‘Bigger Than Me’ the lead single off FITF
You got a new subscriber on the channel, I was watching Taylor and Harry's videos and I had suggested Louis's which is my favorite, I was waiting, finally he's here on your channel. I loved learning the details of the video with you, a very interesting view from a professional. I think you'll like the video for Walls, Two of us and Bigger than me (Louis' voice is even more beautiful in this last song). Thank you!💙
This reaction is making me so happy!! Louis' voice is really beautiful, you should check out his other songs, espacially from Faith in The Future his second album :) And I would recommend, watching his mv for "Bigger Than Me"
wow love your reaction and yes he's fantastic you have to react to more of Louis, many of his videos are amazing and the story they tell... hepo u react more to Louis!
I have to admit that i found your channel as a Louis' fan and I was curious to see this video as everyone was talking about it on Twitter but I just wanna say that I'm so glad that I watched it. I've always been passionate about video/film-making, how they do it, the lights, the storyline, the shots etc and as a person that haven't studied it I've been looking for reactions like this one to get insights and understand more of the process but all the reactions I've seen were so superficial and boring, highlighting things that even someone like me (without any preparation or knowledge) could notice. However, this was so well-made and i just wanna thank you for the analysis you've made, explaining a lot of different aspects, while keeping it easy to understand. I really enjoyed it and now i'll probably binge-watch all the other videos bye ahah
Lol, thank you SO much for the kind words! I love the fact that you are into this kind of stuff! It brings me joy knowing that I can bring something different to the table and have fun reacting all while giving some insight from the industry! Thank you for watching!
Love your reaction! It gives me happy chills when someone gets introduced to Louis’s angel voice. One really important thing for Louus is staying true to his roots, which is working-class Doncaster (that’s the accent, too!) and staying close with friends from his youth. I think the somewhat somber individual shots are the contrast to the feel-good chorus. Lucky you, to get to hear all of Louis’s music for the first time! Looking forward to hearing more analysis!
I cant believe you reacted to Louis. I love your channel and Louis is a king. You should react to his trilogy, 3 mv connected (we made it- directors cut) or bigger than me. Thanks a lot
The people in the video were his childhood friends. Filmed in their home town. The video speaks to their childhood which was difficult and lonely at times as they each faced their own struggles, but together they built memories and made their happiness…and didn’t want to go home back to their struggles. This is what unites them and ties them together today. The group at the end is a statement - our childhood made us and together we are strong despite our pain. Just an extra the childhood boxer is now a famous champion.
I love that you chose music by Louis! He is such a great person. I would be so happy if you react next to "Bigger than me", because I love the whole scenery of the video and his passionate but also overwhelming voice.

In the last shot count the groups of people 3 6 9. This is s message to the fans because Louis teases us with this number all the time. Dont get dragged into thst rabbit hole 🤣😂💙💙
I'm so glad you started doing Louis' songs!! He has an amazing voice and hope you cover more songs of him! You only mostly cover music videos but it seems like you liked his type of music so I'd say give a listen on your own to the whole "Faith in the Future" (his second solo album) and "Walls" (his first album) after you're done reacting to his music videos . The second album is full of music like this and it's SOO SOOO GOOD. He also have a few music videos/songs released before either of these albums so try to check them out with his other mvs!!
Silver tongues is SUCH a jam! From his most recent album my other fave (with a video) is out of my system. Aside from that I love Chicago and Saturdays from that album. And headline has an almost Beatles-ish feel! He takes a lot of inspiration from Brit pop so his songs all have that same feel even when they sound different. Also he wrote or co wrote a LOT of the one direction songs so if you know any of those and happen to hear some similarities, that’s why!
Louis has an amazing voice and never gets the credit he deserves. He's also writes masterpieces as he wrote every song on his current album, plus his previous album and 40 songs with 1D. Louis never gets the recognition he deserves

This is so funny how you are trying to talk about the MV but kinda miss everything because you can't stop jemming😂
Thank you for this! Ya, I was surprised! He has an amazing voice! I can't wait to check those out
thank youuuu for reacting!!!!! louis is so underrated.. he is a fvcking angel i swear! he's my entire life hahahah
As a Louie, I'm so delighted you found him. He's incredible!!
yooooo the line you missed was “you said grass was a dirty drug, you like to preach with a vodka in your mug” which is one of absolute favourite lyrics of his, it’s so witty and funny and at the same time hits so hard cause you know people like that
Silver Tongues mv is filled with a visual dichotomy of isolation vs community/connection, and those themes really reflect beautifully with the song.
The lighting & shot choices for the blonde girl imply she’s withdrawn from life outside in the world, but there’s an internal struggle suggesting she doesn’t want to be hidden inside anymore
2) The black boy in the middle of the 3 guys smoking outside a house are clearly friends, and the boy has a lot of love with his friends.
There’s many different forms of community on display in the video & that’s why the ending shot is brilliant & emotional for me
Louis :) Just went to his concert a few weeks ago he's great
Oh wow. Never seen a reaction to music videos like the ones you do. As a Louis fan I am very happy you got distracted by his voice and the song itself. Yeah if you like this song you should check out the full album Faith in the Future.
Thank you so much! I'm definitely going to check out way more of his music now!
i’m sooo glad you’re loving louis’ music!! his voice is so unique and his songwriting is amazing. hope you’ll react more to him
His voice is unique which is why I love it..definitely watch more of his videos and maybe dive into into 1D videos too.
All of his videos have great stories, can't wait to see you do another one!
the way that you appreciated his voice before anything else>>>>
great reaction! as you can tell by other comments Louis fans are very protective over him (me included) he’s a great person and artist, always promoting and helping indie bands & songwriters also just very very appreciative of his fans and the community we’ve built!
Louis Tomlinson is a special kind of beautiful genius. I cannot ever express that enough.
Thank you so much for following my content! I'm happy you're enjoying it!
It's about finding your tribe and the times you had together.
Yes he definitely has a one of a kind voice. It was so evident in 1 D . So happy he’s finally getting recognized for his talent💜💙💜💙🥰
Hard to believe he was told he could not sing when he was in 1D. I think he sings like an angel.
His entire album is a banger!
Louis Tomlinson only writes bangers. He has the most writing credits for songs with One Direction. Really happy to see his fan base grow. Thank you!
Louis works a lot with Charlie Lightening, who works with Oasis, and did Louis Documentary film that came out this year
Thank you for all this info! I will definitely check that out!!!
@@EdibleStars369 actually it's 4 songs, don't skip the last one, the credits, which is an absolute masterpiece in my opinion 😉
I had not noticed that it is the same street as the 1 Direction video Midnight Memory!! That adds a whole other layer to the meaning for the song. Well it cemented what I already thought. Louis does nothing careless or by chance. Him choosing that set is a big deal.
cannot beat the feeling of seeing people discover Louis! literally feel like a proud mum hahah
That is the most real reaction to hearing Louis sing I've ever seen
I spent this entire video yelling "YESSS!" I agree it's too dark/poorly lit at times but holy moly, fantastic videos for an AMAZING song.
My favorite song off Faith in the future. In concert it is phenomenal. I love when people react to the change in tempo. Reminds me of the first time listening.
For me, the best mvs produced by Louis are walls or bigger than me, really good to see and listen to!
I loved the video! About the lighting
I love his 'Walls' video, from his first album.
Look into Tesla 369. It’s deep!!
Thank you!💙
Of course! Thank you for the suggestion! I'm happy you like the content!
So glad you loved the song and his voice. Louis deserves more recognition he is an amazing lyricist.
This is going viral on Twitter. Welcome to our fandom 😊
The music video is? Wow! Thought it came out a little bit ago! And thank you so much for the kind welcome!!! I'm so happy to be a part of it now!
I came from Twitter directly to watch it 😅
@Videoeditorreacts no, your video is making its way through the louis fandom 😁
Oh wow!! That's amazing! This fan base is amazing! You guys have only shown love and support, so thank you! Can't wait to do more of his videos!
Don't apologize for being nitpicky, I think it just proves that you're a good editor!
Thank you so much!
This reaction is making me so happy!!
Louis' voice is really beautiful, you should check out his other songs, espacially from Faith in The Future his second album :)
And I would recommend, watching his mv for "Bigger Than Me"
Silver tongues is a type of shoe with silver tongues but Louis is a real silver tongued devil.☺️💙
wow love your reaction and yes he's fantastic you have to react to more of Louis, many of his videos are amazing and the story they tell... hepo u react more to Louis!
Thanks a lot
thank you for reviewing Louis! I love his music! it's a banger!! loved the comments
Please react to more of louis !!! Loved this reaction ❤
So happy more people find him and appreciate his voice. His music is so underrated and he deserves all the love.
I love that you chose music by Louis! He is such a great person. I would be so happy if you react next to "Bigger than me", because I love the whole scenery of the video and his passionate but also overwhelming voice.
Loved your appreciation for Louis! More please 😊
Louis is slowly making more and more alternative music, and this was one his favourite songs from his new album.
I AM LIVING FOR THIS!!! please watch more louis content and listen to other songs, i promise its worth it
Love, love, love your appreciation of Louis voice and this song!!! Can’t wait for more reactions on him!
I love this reaction. Pleaseeee reaction out of My system by Louis Tomlinson
Louis is amazing and got so far considering no backup from his ex manager or radio time. 💙💚
idk if anyone has told you this already but you got a few hit tweets on louis stan twitter because we loved your reaction to his voice and this song so much. Louis is so underrated so thank you for appreciating how amazing he is 🫶🫶
I love you, Louis freaking Tomlinson ❤
Louis tomlinson tiene una voz increíble
#louies I love him 💙
Oh god I love the way you appreciate his music and his voice. He really doesn't get the recognition he deserves.
Loved this!!! I think you’d love Louis’ “we made it directors cut” the storyline is incredible
Also he wrote or co wrote a LOT of the one direction songs so if you know any of those and happen to hear some similarities, that’s why!
thanks for the love on Louis! 🥰
i love this. louis is literally my fav ❤
Louis has an amazing voice and never gets the credit he deserves. He's also writes masterpieces as he wrote every song on his current album, plus his previous album and 40 songs with 1D. Louis never gets the recognition he deserves
I love people reaction when silver tongue start the beat
Haha we used captions too in early days. His accent is so unique and beautiful it outshines anything else ❤
Love Louis so much!!🤍
I really enjoyed your video, thanks! It just goes to show that people love his music when they actually hear it! FU radio 😤
So so happy to see Louis getting more recognition ❤ he has an incredibly unique voice and is a great songwriter. He's super underrated
