Congrats Klaudia. Your videos are very helpful to those who are going through this process. Wish this resource was around years ago when I was getting my PhD in clinical psych. There’s so many trainees who would benefit from your experiences. If interested, still wanted to talk with you about an opportunity that I think you would find appealing.

I like watching fellow mental health counseling program journeys and it is completely understandable not to upload much when you are supper busy. Next semester is my last semester and I cannot wait to graduate. I'm not sure how Florida is but in Texas the NCE is only offered twice a year so I took it this semester just incase I failed I had some wiggle room.

Hello Michelle,
I wish there were more creators in this category as well. I would love to see how everyone is doing in their journey. We get a little bit of that during residency but it’s not enough. In Florida we take the NCMHCE and it’s offered when you schedule it. I’ll have to look into it I’m sure they have it at least once a month from what I’ve heard. How did you do on your test? You can take it before graduation ? We have to be conferred to take the test.

Why did you choose LMHC over MFT?

MFT you learn systems theory, I didn’t want to be stuck in that niche. I liked the career outlook and the curriculum that LMHC had, plus I had a great school near me that offered it. At the end of the day it’s not that much different but you do learn more things that pertain to that niche in that program.
