I always thought Hexen on the N64 was one of the BEST games ever made! I had a blast with this one in both 2 player coop and 4 player battles
I love it too! Definitely one of my favorite n64 games.
I got a few games with fits this "bad coop games that I like" too. many of many of them, actually.
Still the one that comes to mind (probably because I revisited it recentily)
Is Castevania Portrait of Ruin, is such an absurd how they implemented coop. people hate it, but I do like it. maybe is because it was the closest of a coop castevania (heck, maybe metroidvania) coop that I have played
I’ve never tried co-op Portrait of Ruin! How does that work? Is it just during boss fights or something? I don’t remember.
Like always, I almost totally agree about everything and every game you say.
"Troll and I", I love those asymmetric coop games, the game got a lot of potential
There is a Beavis Butt head point n click game...
"Knack", totally unfair the hate, but there something in the character which doesn't look amazing.
Everything time I played Fantastic 4 I would say it was porn music lol
8 Eyes was mindblow to me the first time I played. I can see an indie improving this formula and doing well.
Dragonball gt transformation on the GBA is a streets of rage style game if your interested. Can't play the story mode in co op but it does have some 2 player modes.
I love that game! The two player mode basically lets you play through the whole story, just without the cutscenes.
I also think 8 Eyes is very solid, though definitely NES tough.

I'm wondering if you ever played Jazz Jackrabbit 2, a game from 1998 with split-screen co-op. I enjoyed it as a kid.
I’ve never played it, but I know about it! I need to try it sometime!
How about streets of rage 3? Generally considered a major disappointment with the censorship, music and difficulty however the combat is very deep and theres multiple endings and unlockable characters. Me and my cuz/n finally turned the lives up and beat it. It is a very fun game
The combatribes should probably be graded as a mediocre game but I loved it
I love streets of rage 3! I think it’s a great game. Especially the Japanese version. I like combatribes too, but haven’t played it nearly as much.
Sonic Boom Wii U is one of my wifes favorate coop games, And I love dragon ball Saga, Tho playing the story without the extra characters at the end is a little slow.
I want another Dragon Ball game with local co-op!
How is hexen considered bad? I mean just the n64 port then that makes a little sense but having local coop is cool.
I don’t know. I’ve only ever heard people talk shit about that game, and the reviews were pretty negative back in the day. But I love it.
Ahahahah, the fantastic four for PS one😂, I bought even 4 controllers and a link device to play with 4 players...we played it maybe 2 times 😅 I always loved it but it wasn't that good...do you know the Marvel game on PSone "Ironman and X-O" this was a really good 2 player co-op game. I would say it was in my top 3 of co-op games on PS one 😅
Yeah, fantastic four isn’t great, but I still appreciate the four player part haha. I have played the iron man game a bit. I really liked it, but eventually got stuck and never played it again.
@@ClassicCo-op If you got once the opportunity to play it again with a friend or family member, please give it a chance. I played it 4-5 times through

Too HUMAN is one of my favorite games ever, probably considered one of the worst ever, I am still waiting for the sequel 🤣
I never played that! Who cares what others think, as long as you enjoy it! Hopefully you get that sequel someday haha.
