- In this video I review a 738hp, Vortech YSi Supercharged Fox body Mustang Notchback. This mustang has a Boss 308ci block, forged internals with AFR 185 aluminum heads, Ed Curtis custom camshaft, Vortech V7 YSi supercharger with a custom Procharger intercooler setup. This foxbody also has a 3.73 rear end gear with Detroit truetrac differential, a Tremec T56 Magnum transmission and McLeod RXT clutch.

Love the engine combo. Smaller cubes with a peaky blower means you can play around a lot and it still yanks you around, and it's an absolurte monster when you want to do a hard pull.

WOW! Absolutely beautiful. Back in the day not many guys wanted the coupe/notch in my area, now they are more desirable (in most areas) than the LX hatchback or GT.
Yep same here, nobody wanted the Notch. Now they are hard to find and very expensive! Someday...I hope to add one to the garage!
opposite here in Northern california hatchbacks are less desirable and notchbacks are the most wanted. interesting 😁
I have had many 5.0. my 90 coupe was my favorite. wish I keep of for my son.. 👎👎👎

I loved, and still love, the notch backs in high school in the late 80s. Total sleepers. That's a beautiful car.
A Trunk LX DECH! Yes Man! 302 died and I was building a 351 Cleveland to put in it and.. Absolute Joy! It towed my 750 Kawasaki jet ski. (It was tuned too.) 1989 DECH.

That is absolutely a bad ass ride......is running a blow off valve?(sounds like it in the ride on the first 40 seconds of pulls) if so what type of bov and brand is he running? I am in the process of finishing my supercharged 92 GT and I'm in the air about whether or not to run a bov on my setup which I'm leaning more towards yes but I wanted to ask someone who has experienced running one on a supercharged combo. I want to thank you in advance for your time and input!

I don't even need 700hp.....I just want something as clean as your car while I cruise.
It's so fun and adds so much more to the experience when you have something done to this level. Not just the speed but hearing it its just an overall amazing experience and it's fun to gap fancy modified newer cars lol.

Chris mikos who owned Midwest mustangs in lake villa painted the car. MM is no longer and these days chris works a day job at a dealership body shop and raises 3 children while rebuilding China-atv’s at night😂

Smart, sn95 blows
Sn95 are nicer than fox bodies inside and out. I like foxes but I get tired of the bandwagon fox craze while people not only overlook sn95s but plain disrespect them by saying stuff like that when it's a higher quality car in every aspect. Better oem brakes, 5 lug, better interior, more room for wide meats all around, better aero and not that much more weight. Sn95 can be sick if they're done to the level of this notch. The 96-98 cobra with the 4v is also badass. I've owned at least 3 of both cars and the fox build quality is crao by comparison. I feel like it's like the me too car of 80s and 90s muscle cars and it's also trendy to dislike sn95s because others say that shit it's annoying g
All old tech. Should have used the holley stock style in tank pump good for 1000hp.
He did state it was a 90s inspired period correct build.
I built this car in 2012-2013 so you are correct: it’s outdated.
He built the car years ago and does it really matter in the end? A 700+ wheel notch is capable of hurting some feelings even in today's world. He has nothing to be ashamed of.

He built it years ago and was inspired by late 90s early 00s style builds so that explains why you did one similar 18 years ago. I don't see anywhere on this video where it states there is anything new about any of this in fact it was quite the opposite.
