Some time has passed since Hoolay's rampage across the Luofu and with that clean up taken cared of, the Luminary Wardance commences for real. There are quite a few colorful contestants for the Wardance ranging from a Galaxy Ranger, IPC representatives, the Xianzhou Cloud Knights of course, and those from a long forsaken planet making a return to the universe and Luka is the focus. BTW, Owlbert's standin is just hilarious to look at.
I thought this event actually tell a good story and has a lot of fun interaction, I know people don’t care a lot about Luka me neither but if people actually give it a chance and not just blush it off cause it’s not their favorite character they might actually found something valuable here, I also want my gem quickly too but in the end it’s the lore that will keep me playing the game, not mindless grinding

So as for the event itself, I am guessing because it wouldn't make sense to program boss fights against our own characters, a work around was created and Luka throughout the rounds started to develop strange hallucinations of foes he fought in Belobog such as a fragment in place of Sushang, seeing Cocolia while facing Topaz and then later to where he was fighting something he has never seen before when fighting Boothill. With some help from Mr. Tail and Huohuo those hallucinations have faded and he continued to keep going throughout the whole tournament and eventually going face to face with Yanqing. While he lost he wasn't depressed like he was before against Boothill. He ultimately earns the respect from the entire audience and those watching the Wardance. Throughout the tournament, Lynx with the help of Qingque started looking into the Jade Abacus that belonged to Igor and through its' restoration they began to learn more of Igor and his journey before he returned to Jarilo-VI. Igor went across the cosmos in search of aid for his people against the Anti-Matter Legion but it was to no avail because there was conflicts all across the cosmos eventually leading him to Xianzhou. Luka eventually meets Jing Yuan and he tells the last piece of the story where he as the Ringmaster at the time fought Igor and was moved by his strength was sad he and the Xianzhou is unable to provide aid to his people either as they had a war of their own to deal with. Igor eventually heads back to Jarilo-VI to fight the war there. It was centuries later it was Jing Yuan who sent the invitation to the Luminary Wardance hoping Igor's descendants would receive it. Despite being informed Jarilo-VI being taken off the universal map and likely destroyed, Jing Yuan took a gamble to send the invitation anyway and to his relief, even if it was 400 years too late his gamble paid off and now he as one of the Arbiter Generals can finally do for Igor what he couldn't do 700 years ago.
Oh man... Mr. Tail is a RIOT! I was playing that one in Japanese dub but listening to it in English is still pretty funny too. But right when it came to seeing Huohuo and Mr. Tail off...oh boy...the reaction of Mr. Tail was PRICELESS.
It was fun, i like it, the development of Luka, the jokes, but damn too long quest and long combats mechanics, the public is hard to please they want blood xD Hope we get another cute and short event like the one of the pets of Ruan Mei, i wanna make a Boothill pet xD

The specialized invitation by Shuojin got me so mad, the people that slandered Luka should've been kicked out of the tournament, why the hell did they make such people stay when they're causing so much ruckus and unnecessary harassment? It made my blood boil that the npcs don't get punished for their stupidity. It made me not want to do the remaining challenges cause the punishment of that guy wasn't enough, it left a bitter taste in my mouth that the violent spectators weren't kicked out of the arena. I don't normally get irritated of long events, but this made my mood sour. Caelus should've roasted those bystanders and Topaz should scram and mind her business
As someone who started and dont know most character here especially luka and only want those stellar jade this takes so long i was so suprised when i finish the opening i was so suprise the event just got started
I'm finishing the event last minute but I liked it! I liked Luka before, but I think this event made him one of my favorites. Probably would've been better if I didn't try to do it on the last day though lol
i haven't start the event yet still on 0% and few days ago when it's about 1 night left before it's ended, i speedrun it in one night spent around 7 hours without skipping the story, good thing the story so good didnt make me feel asleep

Sunday) will make sure that boothill see his adopted son ) who easylly beat yangqing, Gepard, Bronya, Svarog, ETC First edit : If you talking about yangqing then it falls the same with boothill situation (more experience, skill, weapon ETC just a weaker version of boothill) Second edit : I realized that Luka Plot Armor when crazy in this patch. First of all he beat topaz because she was holding back in her *base form* second Argenti the knight of beauty is also holding back because no way a guy who solo'ed that huge bug(patch 1.5) lost to luka, and last yangqing is also Holding back he didn't even use his sword But still this is one of my favorite event because we can clearly see Luka char development 10/10 patch
i usually enjoy reading dialogue but this one is feeling like torture. it's so slow and it has a lot of pointless dialogue, but i think the main issue is that i never cared about luka or belobog which is just a me problem ig.
The Eidolon rewards will be available in rerun in case if people missed it, though other rewards ie credits items etc will not be as much as when it's first launched for sure.
Absolutely absurd that this takes so freaking long, if you want to force story for a completely useless character at least give us 3k jade for it and make it the only event. What a massive waste of time and resources for both the players and employees
Am I the only one, or I feel like Lingsha is voiced by an Ai in the event? She blurs words out so fast and without breath. If you compare her to Sushang, who giggles and sighs a lot, it feels so dull.... Edit: Lingsha does have some "breath" in a lot of her dialogue, so I am very effin confused now. Maybe I'm not used to hearing people talk very fast, and heard a lot of Ai voice over?

Sorry if it sounded mean but with that mindset and low self-esteem? It's no wonder he still won against Topaz. I don't think I'll continue with this quest, Luka seriously ticked me off when he let himself lose when he had a big chance of winning. 5 hours of sitting through this event is not worth it for a character I don't even want and have.
Was enjoying March 7th Hunt until I was forced to do Swordplay event and then do Dialogues Wall repeatedly 5 times, March 7th hunt is my most hated char now only cause of that event. Same for Luka now. If have to do same sht 5 effing times THAN JUST GIVE SKIP BUTTON AFTER THE FIRST BS SIDE CHARACTER STORY. Let people decide whether they wanna play or skip, cause people skipping are only smashing mouse key and space anyway.
