  • Module 1 of the Networking Fundamentals course will illustrate the core of networking: How data moves through the Internet. Crucial to that is understanding the various Network Devices which exist to accomplish that goal. In Lesson 1 we'll unpack the following devices and related concepts: Hosts, IP Addresses, Networks, Repeaters, Hubs, Bridges, Switches, Routers.
    This is a two part lesson. In the prior video we explored Hosts, IP Addresses, and Networks. In this video we will explore Repeaters, Hubs, Bridges, Switches, and Routers.

    *Full Course Status: Wait and See.*
    Hopefully you've come to realize that I put _a lot_ of effort into the content I create. I'm not a course creator that will simply turn on the screen recording and ramble, then call that teaching. I meticulously plan _every_ module and lesson to _maximize the learning and value_ for the student.
    To that end, it takes me a while to put together courses. If I'm going to dedicate the time, resources, and energy to putting this full course together, I need to know that there is enough interest in the full course. I'm rating that by how wide a reach this series achieves.
    *If you are interested in seeing the full course developed, then the best way to bring that to fruition is to spread the word about this content* . By itself it already conveys _a lot_ of value. So sharing even just the 7 lessons (13 videos) in this series will surely help whoever you share it with.
    Plus ... many online communities would greatly benefit from these videos. Think of all the Internet points you could acquire if you shared this series (karma, likes, follows, etc.) 😉

    Man I don't think you understand how much your channel help uni student or anyone interested in networking in general. You shouldn't be "thanking us" for watching your videos. It should be the other way around and we the consumers saying thank you is really an understatement. Your teachings are honestly so great. I don't even need to "cram" the definitions for these because your teaching and using videos and pictures to illustrate your point, make understanding and knowing the definitions 100 times easier. Seriously, you do not need to thank us. Yes, perhaps you're getting some revenues from us watching and perhaps why you're grateful, but what you are doing to "paying" us compared to what we are paying you is like a scam. I'm probably typing some nonsense here, but really... I'm just flabbergasted with your teaching. I'm more than grateful for it. And you will be the main reason I will pass my networking course in uni. Would absolutely love to donate to you for making these all free, but i'm a broke student unfortunately. Just so grateful for your time and dedication to do all these.

      Not everybody understand network engineering and computer since
      It's really useful and great video but the real equation would be how do routers really work in the real world how do they take the path and how to create your own router which routers are the best and their operating systems which one is best.
      I really would like to know how do they work on practice like take one and disassemble it hardware and software like he shown with two routers in two lan groups and why router is connected to the ISP modem and "is my router connect to my ISP modem-router first can I control it or by default must be connected to the ISP modem ?" .
      And what tools do routers provide as software how to reset it and how to setting the router settings
      Overall great contents for beginners

      @PracticalNetworking  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mohammedissam3651 I don't know the details of hardware and router development. Only the software and how they are meant to work. I outlined some of that in the Router videos of this series:

    Finally, there is someone who knows how to teach networking concepts in a way that is not just understandable (which is a big achievement itself, considering that the vast majority of teachers of networking concepts leave a lot to be desired in terms of understanding networking) but also, dare I say, enjoyable. God bless for such a gift of clarity. Thanks

    I can't thank you enough. I've been trying to learn networking lately and even after going through multiple tutorials I found it very difficult to wrap my head around certain concepts. Turns out that I had a lot of knowledge gaps. This channel helped me to fill those gaps and learn new things smoothly. Incredible work. I'll always be grateful to you.

      Could you do me a favor? Do you mind sharing this video on Linked In, Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, or any other social media you use? As an independent creator, that would be an _enormous_ help, and I would appreciate it _greatly_ .

    Dude wtf!!! I have spent hours studying material just to barely grasp the concepts. You've been able to put everything together in such a simple way it's mind blowing. I just don't understand why some of the networking concepts are so overcomplicated, it almost makes me feel like there is some type of gatekeeping going around lol Big Thank You!!!
