@@sashime00 that's why its not worth to buy from taobao if you are just buying a couple of small items, go with shopee instead. Not a fan of ezbuy with their prime shipping.
Actually the part where you select 海运 (集运)，空运 (集运) or 直运 is to determine what type of shipping the items will go through when enroute to Singapore. So if don’t mind waiting and the item is very big and or heavy, 海运 (sea shipping) is good, else select 空运 (air shipping) if need the items fast and or the weight and size are negligible. I don’t recall I can re-select the type of shipping when the items reach taobao warehouse and pending the final leg to Singapore. Hence it is very important to select the correct type of shipping before checking out. If select air shipping for big bulky items, then prepare to get a shock when the item reach taobao warehouse and pending buyer action to pay and ship the items to Singapore.

Best is always after the entire renovation so that they won't be dirty. Some lights can go in first that one not a big problem. You can ask your ID or contractor when is a good peroid to start delivering them, then you work backwards the time

bulky items suggest u go for 3rd party forwarder, cai niao got tons of limitation. u will end up paying more for redelivery to another forwarder, suggest going oops.sg or ezbuy. simple to use.

But may I know if these products are compatible with the Mi Home App ( Chinese Mainland Region ) , for example the Xiaomi Air Purifiers on Taobao . Im unsure because there are some products such as the Roborock S7, which is known as the T7s on Taobao that would not work outside of China. And whenever I contact the sellers , they say that they are not sure and wouldn't recommend me buying it. @@davidtan260 taobao will most likely not do an overseas shipment for sofa, which you will have to rely on a 3rd party forwarder to ship. Then you got to check what insurance coverage that forwarder company provides.

So instead of using your own address straight away put the ezship address, that means no shipping to taobao warehouse. Provide your order number to ezship, then they will notify you once it reach them. From there its easy already since you can communicate with them in english.

end to end takes about 1 month, the domestic part within china is very fast. It is the part where it reaches ezship or other 3rd party forwarder, that's where it takes time

@@luannateo not so long until 2 months. You can't use taobao direct, they won't ship for you else my default is always taobao direct. Have to get 3rd party, I just use ezship for convenience.

The information that you've always shared in this video and your past videos are indeed really beneficial and valuable to me personally. My Chinese is not very proficient so I am having trouble in understanding how to use Ezbuy's Ezship. Could I suggest that you could maybe do a video about it? (Only if you want to and not too much trouble!!!) If you do consider, please talk about how much it is cheaper as compared to shipping on taobao's website directly and also do a walkthrough on how it works. I am assuming we would have to indicate Ezbuy's China warehouse address while checking out, instead of writing our local address, am I right? If we put our local address, they would automatically ship the item to taobao's own sorting centre and it would be additional cost to ship it to Ezbuy's warehouse, right? I also understand that I would have to submit my order number and info to Ezbuy, and have realized that Ezbuy would ask for the courier and I don't understand why I could find that information from Taobao. Sorry if I don't make any sense, I have recently started using Taobao and am trying to understand how it works. thanks for the kind words, really appreciate that. Personally, I didn't compare the charges of ezship vs taobao direct, but ezship will means that I have another party and 1 more system to deal with compared to everything within taobao. Ezship will request for the delivery ID, items that you purchase and the amount. Another point is ezship warehouse only allow you to hold for 3 days if I remember correctly, vs taobao warehouse 20-40 days. And when the item reach Singapore warehouse, its either you self collect or you have to pay additional to send to your house, so don't forget to factor that in.

singapore address at 5:30 , the one infront is just for you to add the items to cart
If I am able to put in cart during my step and putting my sg address at first step instead of guandong- dongguan, this is ok right?

yeah Ron, always try to ship directly from taobao if possible unless they reject it, easier and more convenient

that's because those products are only supported on the china server. This means no integration with google, and you might encounter latency at times

Hello Alex, I seemed to have a little problem here. As i have previously added items into my cart. Now i then change the location send to Guang dong dong guang . It dosent seemed to change it for me. It will show other location. How do i do it because i have over 20 items to be purchase

Understand that the furniture bought from taobao is relatively cheaper than purchasing one in Sg, how does the warranty covers and how many years etc?

@@davidtan260 taobao will most likely not do an overseas shipment for sofa, which you will have to rely on a 3rd party forwarder to ship. Then you got to check what insurance coverage that forwarder company provides.
So if they don't show prices from China to Singapore does that mean I have to use a freight forwarder? Thanks
u will only see shipping price indication once the item reaches the warehouse to consolidate your shipment
Hey Alex, can you share how do you get the China warehouse address from EZ buy so they can arranged for sea shipment if some of the chinese merchants are not delivering to singpaore

Hi Alex, I’m looking at buying the same sofa as you in your other video. For shipping, do I go thru ezbuy?
So instead of using your own address straight away put the ezship address, that means no shipping to taobao warehouse. Provide your order number to ezship, then they will notify you once it reach them. From there its easy already since you can communicate with them in english.

However now when I try to consolidate my items to get it shipped to Singapore, I sort of is unable to locate my LED lights which is already received by the warehouse in China. Hey Alex, just to check how long did it take for your sofa to arrive in Sg from China? I believe the seller will ship 3 weeks after you put in the order and it will probably take a few days to reach the port , from there , how long did it take to reach your home ?
end to end takes about 1 month, the domestic part within china is very fast. It is the part where it reaches ezship or other 3rd party forwarder, that's where it takes time

@@luannateo not so long until 2 months. You can't use taobao direct, they won't ship for you else my default is always taobao direct. Have to get 3rd party, I just use ezship for convenience.

My Chinese is not very proficient so I am having trouble in understanding how to use Ezbuy's Ezship. Could I suggest that you could maybe do a video about it? (Only if you want to and not too much trouble!!!)
If you do consider, please talk about how much it is cheaper as compared to shipping on taobao's website directly and also do a walkthrough on how it works.
I am assuming we would have to indicate Ezbuy's China warehouse address while checking out, instead of writing our local address, am I right? If we put our local address, they would automatically ship the item to taobao's own sorting centre and it would be additional cost to ship it to Ezbuy's warehouse, right?
I also understand that I would have to submit my order number and info to Ezbuy, and have realized that Ezbuy would ask for the courier and I don't understand why I could find that information from Taobao.
Sorry if I don't make any sense, I have recently started using Taobao and am trying to understand how it works. Have been advised by my friend that I can save about $10+ if I ship with Ezship instead of taobao directly. Do let me know! Thank you in advanced, Alex!
thanks for the kind words, really appreciate that. Personally, I didn't compare the charges of ezship vs taobao direct, but ezship will means that I have another party and 1 more system to deal with compared to everything within taobao. Ezship will request for the delivery ID, items that you purchase and the amount. Another point is ezship warehouse only allow you to hold for 3 days if I remember correctly, vs taobao warehouse 20-40 days. And when the item reach Singapore warehouse, its either you self collect or you have to pay additional to send to your house, so don't forget to factor that in.

Hi Alex, would you consider making a video on how to even register a taobao account. Its crazy. Have to sms validate and record voice to validate again and even then the account is still security restricted, cannot add any item!! I search online and so many people are stuck with this security feature. Tks!
