  • From 1988 to New Years Eve 2013 Arabian Nights held over 10 thousand shows for over a million guest from around the world. Today we are traveling to the spot of the former dinner show to see what remains on the property! Let's take a closer look!
Hello and welcome to the World of Micah! I travel around filming everything and anything I find interesting -from theme parks to abandoned urban exploring. If you enjoy learning more about Disney history, tips & secrets or a fan of Disney World nostalgia you have come to the right place. I also enjoy showing Universal Studios history and taking a look of what’s left of from classic attractions like JAWS and ‪Back to the Future‬. More of an Urban Exploring fan? I travel around Central Florida and film everything from abandoned Toys “R” Us stores to abandoned attractions. I'm also a major Movie Buff! I have found the filming locations from such films as Edward Scissorhands & Halloween & Hocus Pocus!
    Let’s take a closer look!

I went to Arabian knights every single time I was in the area. You said nothing better than stuffing your face while watching a good show. First timers to the show usually had plate full of food still to eat when the show is over. You don't want to miss a second of the show once it began. I've still got my t shirt

As an Arabian hoarse owner, horses are very expensive to maintain. THE 2008 market crash ended up hitting this and thousands of other businesses, vying for precious disposable income. Thank you Mark Miller, Al Marah Arabians, BT, riders, horses, for all the years of memories. If you never got to see the show, it was 1st rate, best dinner attraction in the FL, maybe the US. No movie had ever been as good as this this magical live action show. Memories live on, on YT. MM took the statues.

Yes you are correct my sister has quite a few Arabian horses and it definitely gets costly. This was such a great place I went with my Dad and sister back in the early 2000s. So sad things from our past are slowly leaving us, such fun times we had then.

Great vid! My wife and I went to Arabian Nights the last night of our Honeymoon in 2006. We enjoyed the show and the dinner was pretty good. The highlight was seeing my new wife's face when we walked in and the belly dancers were on the stage. That's a treasured memory, lol.

We went in 2002, and did the VIP tour so we got to go backstage, into the stables, met all the horses, got to go in the arena, got to talk with Mark Miller, got to see this absolutely huuuige cat that lived there. The show itself was above and beyond any other dinner show I have ever been to, it was amazing

There was a hugh sign for Arabian Nights on I-4. It had a rearing up horse on it. It was a great landmark. I miss the old stuff. Been here since 1992. So many changes. I went to the show in 1993, it was great.

Sandra, I know where you're coming from try twenty years before you! The only difference is I live and grew up in Tampa, Florida since 1972. And proud to say I went there back many years ago it was a Dinner Show, and in the front right off Highway 192 not to far from there was a water park named Water Mania that closed down way before that many years ago and it was one of the first Water Parks in Kissimmee. Many years ago there quite a few Dinner Shows out there. Sadly there's only Capone's open. My God from what I'm seeing due to this pandemic places are closing up and down! I've been going out there before you were born Micah! Since the mid 70's until present time. Back then it was full of restaurants, gift shops everywhere, K-Marts,, even the store name Zayre, Woolco, Woolworth, Montgomery Wards, Maas Brothers, Burdines at the malls. Many Days Inns on Highway 192 and on International Drive. I wonder if the restaurant Pacino's is still open right in the plaza across from Old Town and Fun Spot. And like Micah was showing you could see two Arabian horses from I-192 and keep on going to the right there was a big building where they had the dinner show there was a big parking lot in the front of the building that went around the back as well. And they had another building next to it that I figured that's where they kept the 🐎 s . To me I enjoy watching these vlogs, but at the same time it is sad to see all these places that we're around for so many years closing down. All we have is the memories and sadly nothing last forever especially in today's economy. And if you drive further on I-192 I was watching a vlog last month it look deserted to the right side and left side, many empty buildings. I pray to God that there will be a vaccine for this pandemic and things get back to normal. Which it'll probably take some time.

the Arabian Nights sign on I-4 was torn up by several hurricanes in the past thus they got rid of it as there was no reason to restore it so they thrashed it

@@adamrussell1467 The AN signs got a beating, yes...but they were still there all the way up till they closed and then were taken down!...The rearing horse one on the Highway-I-4 was replaced with a silver running horse on their AN digital sign. Their other sign was before you turned on to Arabian Night's Blvd and that was a digital sign also. Then they had their 2 statues of the black and the white unicorn rearing on the thick cement stand also on Arabian Night's Blvd.

Arabian Nights was a great show!!! I have seen it 3 times. It wasn’t just horses prancing around, there was a whole story. There was a princess and a bad guy and a hero. It was basically an Aladdin type story. The horses were amazing. The music was music you’d recognize. I remember this one particular part were the is a Native American riding a horse and doing little tricks and return to innocence is playing. While your waiting to be seated one of the characters from the show is in a window above the crowd interacting with people and telling jokes, entertaining the crowd. The show was awesome!!!

Actually, if you would have driven down Arabian Nights Blvd., another 200 yards or so the building stood on the right. You just didn't go far enough back along the road. I believe there is a new motel back there where the building once stood and the high cell tower I believe is located just behind it.

I remember walking in through the actual arena. There was a photo opportunity with the actors, or you could go to your seats. I got sick that morning so I wasn’t feeling up to any of it. Ended up leaving after the food. I remember the dancing horses to start off with and the guys standing and riding on them to start off while the food was being served. It was huge in there!

Arabian nights was originally started by a man that wanted to do a whole entire theme park based on horses and through study groups found that was not plausible, so he shrunk it down and created Arabian nights dinner show. I went to it multiple times when I went to Orlando. They always had specials like bogo on the tickets. It was a good dinner show with good food. Times and trends are changing so dinner shows in Orlando are on their way out, which is interesting since if you go to the pigeon forge / Gatlinburg area by Dollywood they have been growing in numbers.

I went in the early 2000's as a young child each year with my family and LOVED it. We also stayed in the resort right behind it which made it really easy to visit. It was expensive, but as a kid I enjoyed the show and food, but I heard it was beginning to run down in it's last years and we didn't visit. Awesome exploration though- really enjoyed this!

Hi...I just watched your video and I don't know whether you found out more information on Arabian Night's...But....I was and always will be a huge fan of Arabian Night's and over the years I have managed to purchase some memorabilia from it too....As well as the memories of attending the show a couple of times until they closed. The dinner show was really amazing and you could also have a VIP tour too of the stable areas and the pre show stuff for the extra price. You were entertained from the moment that you was seated and the waiters came around almost immediately for to serve you and take your dinner order. It was sometimes hard to hear them while the show was running, but boy what an amazing show it was to see, especially Walter Farley's Black Stallion Liberty act by the Princess and "Dark Storm". The fate of AN came to a close because it took more upkeep etc than the show was pulling in!..Also Mark Miller who was the owner of AN came in to his inheritance and gained more Arabian quality horses from his famous Mother's "Bazy Tankersly" Al-Marah Farm in Arizona so he decided to purchase land in Claremont Florida and opened up his new Al-Marah Arabian Ranch and so therefore sold the land of Arabian Night's and also had a huge sale and sold 3/4s of their performing horses and kept a handful to use for their attraction for their new Ranch/Farm. They took the huge statues what used to be on the solid cement display area and set them up at their new ranch. Here is their Facebook page and if you look in their pictures, you will see the famous original statues on their property. facebook.com/almaraharabianhorses/

Excellent Vlog. Am from the Liverpool UK and have been to Florida 13 times from 1995.
I have only been to 2 Dinner shows and that was the first 2 times I visited Florida.
King Henry's feast which was located on international drive and Wild Bills on the 192.
Both occasions I went we did not really enjoy our times we went.
I remember the first time was Wild Bills and the information we got was it was part of our package holiday with Virgin Holidays and the Virgin rep told us just bring a few dollars for tips you will not need any money everything is provided. When we arrived at Wild Bills they were charging 20 dollars per person entry fee and there was a lot of shouting between the reps and Wild Bills staff.
2 years later we went to King Henry's again over all experience was not good.
Keep up the Good work 👍👍👍👍👍

We went back in 2007-8 and there was a hurricane which made us have to look for things to do outside the parks. My family has always enjoyed Medieval Times so we decided to try this. I dont remember anything about the real show, the only thing I remember was everyone being forced to stand in a large room that was outside the show room for 30+ minutes and watch what I can only imagine must have been the owner's son or something put on a magic show from a balcony above everyone. It was torture to teenage me!

i remember going on Trip Advisor for Orlando's attraction listings. of course the top rated place was Disney World. however I remember this one and the medieval one were very low tier. actually i think one of the dinner shows was THE lowest! if I remember right i think the reason was mostly because of the crappy food. guess all restaurants cant get the Ramsay treatment.....🤣i never been to neither so I cant say how the food was. come to think of it I never been to an actual dinner show before...
