    I am Maltese, born and bred, and God willing will even die on this beautiful island. I have been to all the places you feature in your videos hundreds of times, however, you manage to bring out of me my emotions every time I watch your videos. You are doing a great service to our lovely island and the feedback you get from all over every time you post your videos is extraordinary. What a great advert for our country from an Englishman in Malta who so enthusiastically goes around the island to spotlight some of the reasons why visitors, now in their millions (2.6 million this year) love this place so much. Keep them coming.

    Hi, I am writing on behalf of my wife who is half Maltese raised and living in England. Her father was born and raised in Malta while her mum is English. Her Maltese great uncle was awarded an OBE for services to Maltese football and there is a bust erected in his honour in Valletta.
    She would love it if this statue of Carmelo Scicluna could be shown on one of the videos as it very much looks like her own father.
    Also, she is also hoping to be able to communicate with anyone that has some knowledge of Maltese football and it's history, the airforce of Malta during WW2 (her grandfather served as a foreman at Luca airport) and any other general Maltese history that could be of interest. Her great grandma helped deliver babies on the Island during the war as well.
    She has tried several football forums but has not had any luck, and she had very little information given to her by her father before he passed away.
    I have written this on her behalf but she will be able to provide more info if anyone can assist her.
    Many thanks.

    usually miss 5or6 ferries as keep having a few more cisks. get back to sliema go into sliema football club couple more cisks and back to hotel. suppose to be coming over march 2022 but looking a bit dodgy at the moment live in hope Martin

      @EnglishmaninMalta  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      aaubergine ......lol......funny enough I remember this video , I made it to show the ferry service , in fact the square was in the video, but apart from the time the video being over 20 min there was a motor bike that was determined to make so much noise to wake the dead, so I cut it...maybe I go again in the summer ...keep watching !!

    • @aaubergine
      @aaubergine 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I saw a brief glimpse of the square. This is the area I have known since my first visit 'home' when I was five as my family lived on Triq Marsamxett; my aunt still lives off the square in Triq San Gwann

    I just got curious and looked up the fares. Amazed at how little it costs. I'm thinking of moving to Malta. But I'd live in a less expensive town.

    • @EnglishmaninMalta
      @EnglishmaninMalta  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yes areas like valletta/ Sliema st julains etc a bit expensive in the south not to bad, over in the three cities you can still find some good cheap flats but its an old area, all depends how you wanna live old farmhouses or modern flats there everything here , rents for 2/3 bed apartments can vary from 400 euro to 1000 euros but you can find all sorts here,good luck !! oh...thanks for the comments...please like and sub. got more vids on the way !!
