I bought the exact model Scout CF. with pstina on switch,..clip, and blackwashed blade. The pocket clip is really nice looking! It's all you say it is, imo!!

I really hope they come out with a solid black handle version of this. I had one of the carbon fiber panels pop off of my recon 035 and it really changed how I felt about it.
*_They should have incorporated the same nickel boron internals, vented the bottom & added the inside fluting lines on the blade by the choil_* _The Weiland hand ground piece is just gorgeous, but there is hardly any room for resharpening & this model is just too small!_ _Why ohhhhh why, do these manufacturers insist on releasing such small knives these days!_
Did they give a timeframe on the Recon 035 update? All it needs is be a smaller 040 with the jimping and integrated glassbreak, but smaller with multiple blade styles.
You should look at axial knives, very well made otf’s. The axial shift 3.0 is their newest version. Highly recommend. Very comparable to microtech and guardian. I have the recon-035 also. It’s my first OTF, I’ve liked it very much.
Hey, ESB. Do you by chance have any CUOIERIA FIORENTINA card wallets laying around that you'd sell? Had one for years that got lost in a move, and they sadly discontinued that model.
I own both 2 Gtx-025 and a Microtech UTX-85. The action on the GTX is far smoother with a break that takes less pressure. The slide button on the GTX is designed for thumb push and tip retrieval, the Microtech is an uncomfortable symmetrical designed that could use some more champfering for use comfort. I've carried both and the GTX is an evolution of the Microtech formula. I'm dissapointed in Microtech that they haven't made an attempt to compete with a new slide action.
Great to see they had a new release. Really like the blade shape. Hope to see them at bladeshow again.

This is exciting! I’ve been sticking with Ultratechs because they’re a bit slimmer than the 035. I’ll look into the Scout!

The same or slightly better than most. Unless we are talking about the Hawk Deadlock, they all have some play.
