just something funny for you. I have a friend who(, when we were younger ) had an old black cast iron Singer sewing machine. she called me up saying that the thread on the bottom was all bunched up. I told her the tension needed to be adjusted. I said dont do anything I'd be right over. A half hour later I got to her house and said where'd the machine? Her boyfriend smiled and pointed to the window. I looked out the second floor window and saw the machine all in pieces on the ground. I asked her why did she throw it out the window. She said that it ticked her off ( she said a word that starts with a P) I had to laugh, we all say we're gonna do it but we never do

The housewife is great. I could sew that by hand. I've given up trying to sew with a machine as I never get the tension right & I get a mess every time!
My husband is quite good at sewing with a machine or by hand. He is a blessing!

I always threatened to throw my sewing machine out the window.😂 Instead, I just left the evil thing behind when I moved. I never could learn to sew well on a machine. I just went back to hand sewing everything. It’s much more relaxing. I think I might make me a housewife. That’ll come in handy at times 😁

Hey Kandye! I'm sitting at home watching you while drinking a cup of the Bohea tea I got from your shop. I love that you are showing how to make these. They are lovely. I was thinking you could make a larger one to help store bigger things. Wouldn't that be neat? My aunt from Newfoundland quilts and is going to a retreat in Hamilton, MO Oct 1. I think I'll make her one of these to send to her. Maybe a bigger one to store her quilting squares for a quilt. That would be fun. Thanks so much for sharing. I hope you are doing well. God bless!
