This is the screen replacement I used for my 2015 Silverado 2500

Watched your video yesterday and ordered the item.... Just finished installation! Worked and fixed the issue! Good as new!
Thank You! 2017 GMC Sierra SLT e-assist
Glad to hear this worked for you.
Just finished this project up and it's working perfectly so far. The worst part of it all was removing the old touch screen and cleaning off the adhesive. I used a heat gun, a razor blade, and some acetone to clean it up - took about 45 min on this step. Everything else was pretty straightforward and quick. I used a new touchscreen I bought on Amazon for about $35 - we'll see how it holds up over time.
Agreed... I think removing the old adhesive was the most tedious part.
@@wagslickI just replaced one and it’s wiggin out worse then the factory one.
Excellent video. Thanks for the link.
I did almost the same things. I did not separate the metal frame and faulty digitizer from the larger glass screen because the metal frame is easily bent. All other actions were the same. Been two days and so far it works like new.
Great video! Unfortunately mine didn’t work. It actually was worse than before. It worked great for about 15 minutes and now, changes stations etc about every 20 seconds
Crud, Sorry to hear this didn't work. I wonder if there might be a different problem.
Followed your video worked perfectly thank you !!!!
Glad this worked for you.
