- I first bought this '73 L bug in 2003 as a non runner. It sat in many paddocks until 2010 (first pic).
The LH floor-pan and LH 'C' pillar was rusted out as well as no brakes and other fiddly issues.
I rebuilt and installed the motor prior to 2010 then it sat until late 2022.
In 2023 the body restoration works occurred. As usual most of the work I carried out in my shed with a little help from my friends.
It will need tyres and wiper blades to finish off but for now its a wrap!..
