Ive got the lomo hi vis one similar to this but without any zips just the roll top. My mates ended up taking it and stuffing it with memory foam pillows and using it as a replacement quad bike seat. Anyway it’s completely water and mud proof and has definitely had a work out with us bouncing round on it. It’s got sealed seams and when you first sit on it the bag inflates like it’s going to burst but doesn’t it’s had loads of use and still going strong
Pretty amazing that it survived the sea. Shows it would work really well in the rain. Nice big. Not to flashy
I read extreme testing but I did not expect the sea to be involved as always love your videos

I use this on my 70 mile commute. It has protected my tech from the insane rain we've had recently perfectly
Own this backpack,first 6 or so months it did well whatever the weather, until the front zip covers started flaking, which led to front pocket no longer being waterproof. Other than this it's so handy for fitting a lot in and also very comfy. 😀
It says the front pocket is water resistant, so it was operating perfectly..
I've had this bag for about 2 years. It's brilliant. Never had any issues. Unless you fall in the sea your kit will stay dry!

Ive had my knox bag for about 6yrs now and not so waterproof anymore, i was looking at a variety of these roll ones but didnt know what one to go for 🤔👌
Great video as usual got the two front Lomo bags they work the same way roll neck The backpack would be ideal

Been looking at some roll top bags for when I need to carry stuff around in deepest darkest Devon, rain can occasionally be an issue here! This and that tank bag look great!

Reminds me of when i went to applecross on a camping holiday in 2007 on the bike. My friend had one like that and it worked really well. As you know it never rains in Scotland ;-)
I love the testing method. I assumed you were going to spray it with a garden hose but I guess if you're on an island and 5 mins from the sea... why not
Wow this is really good but im suprised that it doesnt have reflectives or is florescent yellow instead of sexy black
They make it in white too I should have mentioned that.
Bought one of the lextek dry bags ages ago, like these style of bags, work well for touring

Was looking at the crash bar bags Lomo make. Their kit certainly looks pretty decent, and sensibly priced too.

Personally prefer the white version but this locks nice and quick to roll/unroll
I once took a book with me somewhere and put it in my school bag. I later learned that the bag wasnt infact waterproof...
Good to see that there are bags on the market that will keep things dry even when I accidentally throw my bag into the sea - I hate it when that happens :/

As new rider I'm still using what I've been using since college (2014) and have been looking for a water proof bag so I think this would fit the bill as im still building my bike gear.

So you can use it while riding and maybe while swimming for a short while. One word: nice!

Love one of these..the only comment I would have is how much water got through the zip on the front pocket as you didn't show that part on your water test

Almost a redundant review for me. I've been using Lomo stuff for ages and I knew it would be waterproof. Top bit of kit, would look really good on my back!

i was actually looking for reviews on this bag! i commute by motorcycle 45 miles a day to uni and back and it would be excellent at keeping my uni work dry
Could do with a bag that waterproof for my uniform, good solid test.
So if it’s hailing in Hayling, the dressing gown stays dry? Sounds good to me!

Would love a new bag! Riding all year round can get mighty cold when you turn up somewhere and the clothes in your bag are wetter than the ones you were riding in!
are there enyway of mounting it to a bike?! otherwise a cool bag for smaller folks!
They make luggage for attaching to the bike, including the tank bag i reviewed last time that can also be used as a backpack.

Can't knock it for the money but I found it quite uncomfortable and hot in the summer months. Replaced with a Kriega at over 4x the price so not really a fair comparison! :) loved the testing method though!
If they could mate a R25 style straps system to this I would be all over it.

Can we have the measurements in imperial next time please 😂 if the straps are glued on will the continued weight affect the adhesive abilities ? Could you potentially start to the bike as a make shift tail pack ?

Did the front pocket get soaked from the mild testing you did on this bag???? I did think when you said about testing, did he have it for the day you were in that storm.
A normal person would've used a hosepipe. Our boy Spicy is no normal person. He used the whole dang sea. 👍🏼 nutter 😆

Is there any reflective on it?
Sadly not but as the bag doesn't stretch and is rubbery I would imagine it would take a self adhesive reflective tape very well.
