I didnt realize how amazingly accurate these sims are. They even give you front office control while playing as lebron

Funny enough, LeBron started his career as a PG in real life, and was a 78 overall PG on ESPN 2K4 way back when. I was a kid when that game came out. I'm not even really a basketball fan, but had that game as a youngster.

Fr shit was goofy I remember nba love 04 had him as 68 or something like that. Anytime I the gm stuff I always signed him because he’d get waived after the first year or something silly like that.

Can you do these career simulations without touching the simulation, like just let the ai play out Lebron’s career, you don’t have to manage his team by trading and adding 1 overall after winning a chip, the only thing I’d be glad you touch is give lebron 48 minutes a game.

Clique why is the disappearance of the Media Merchants pod like some mystery bruh? I’ve asked about it to you & Dom a few times since it disappeared and can’t get an answer. Dom follows me so I DMd him asking if the reason was monetization or something, suggested a private feed podcast. He didn’t reply, don’t think he saw it and I didn’t wanna bother him again.
It’s super easy to setup tho, can charge like $7/mo (then like $35 for 6mo, $60 for 12mo or w/e) and just drop whenever you want as long as it’s reasonable. Like it doesn’t need to be EVERY Wednesday and Saturday or something like that. Just drop at least 2 episodes per month (assuming they’ll be longer episodes, like 75-90+ mins) and ppl will be able to get notifications on whatever podcast player they use and auto download it. So it’s fine if you drop one on like August 3rd then like August 19th or something.
Obv you & Dom are busy, but I’m sure you can find the time to record for like 3hrs on light months, then some months drop like 3-4+ episodes. When it’s the really dead period (kinda like late July, August, and most of September) maybe you only drop 7 episodes in those 3 months total. Then during the other 9mo you drop like 35-40 episodes. You get my point, as long as you drop minimum 2 eps a month (but usually 3-4) people don’t care what day they drop. I’d happily pay for this and I’m sure A LOTTTT of people would as well.
Ppl have substax and all that stuff, some have private pods on there. Then there’s private pods like Greatest of All Talk which is a lighter funny one, or Dunc’d On which is a super in depth one where they drop like 5x/wk during the season & 2x/wk during the dead 3mo period or w/e. People pay like $150/yr for Dunc’d On (it comes w a daily newsletter, updated cap sheets, madddd nerdy stuff, and a big discord community) or something like that. GOAT pod charges $5 and change a month for 2 episodes a month along w some other stuff.
So ya ppl would pay man, and you & Dom have great chemistry. If one of you can’t find time to record and you wanna get more episodes out, one of you can just record with a guest. You & Dom have pretty loyal followings that have huge overlap. So ya this is a crazy long post but I figured I’d suggest it. I rly dunno why the pod stopped but I thought maybe that was why, or you guys felt like you couldn’t commit to recording every week on the same day for 90+ mins, I dunno.
If you wanna do it on YT, you can post it on your second channel or Dom’s second channel, or one of your mains and just split the revenue from them? It’s that, the private podcast route which is obviously instant $ in your pocket…or you can do what you did before which is creating a new YT channel for it. I’d suggest posting it on one of your existing channels, or going the private podcast route. The private podcast route is also nice bc you don’t have to post it on video, just audio. It’s also mad easy to setup.

Also what about if the best players from the 1984 draft (i.e. Michael Jordan, Hakeem Olajuwon, Charles Barkley, John Stockton, & Alvin Robertson--a name lost in NBA history in my opinion, 4x all star, 2nd team all NBA, 1986 DPOY, 6x defensive team, 1986 Most Improved Player, 3x steals leader) were on the same team?
