The accuracy of something like Steph shooting over Exum once it gets to 2014 surprised me. Did you have to match GS's record to their real one or just go with the story as long as they were good?

Not even close. Kobe and Shaq were the greatest duo of all time because Kobe could shoot, score, pass, and was a defensive machine. You have no idea how many times Kobe closed the show for the Lakers back then, and saved them from losing close games, or got them going when the offense stagnated. If the shot clock was running down, the Lakers had a cheat code called Kobe.
Also forgot to mention in my other comment - how many decisions were made with regard to big offseason moves? For example Pau going to LA, Ray to Miami etc I'm sure you forced. It was fun to see Oden and Jeremy Lin on the Lakers in LeBron's final run

And also, it makes it feel forced in that you can easily drive the video to a conclusion rather than letting it play out
Definitely a weird "less is more" scenario. Coaching mattered a lot. Del Harris and Phil Jackson with the triangle was a huge difference. The first season for Phil they traded Eddie Jones and Elden Campbell to have 3 all stars with Glen Rice, won the title, let Rice go, and won 2 more. If there is ever a case to be made for coaching matters, I think that the late 90's Lakers are the best example.

Honestly lebron would be the undisputed goat if he switched careers with Kobe, he’d make the lakers much more dominant and his longevity and athleticism would’ve kept him as a world class player for 3 different decades

@@AlanSimulations it’s a video game. In real life, lebron is a terrible mid range shooter til this day, and young lebron wasn’t a three point shooter either. Shaq isn’t Bosh, love or AD. He’s not becoming a jump shooter, so he’s gonna clog the paint. Lebron’s offense is drive and pass out to shooters. Shaq’s style is to post up. These two play styles conflict one another.
