Amx 40 is a hell of a tough nut to crack in a tier 4 game, even more than the matilda, unless it is faced by a matilda.

You can actually see the panic reaction on enemy tanks "faces" when you come around a corner. The gun points at you for a second, then they start backing up bumping into each other while the gun waives around sporadically...then they explode.
I'm the Amx 13 105 which gets yolo'd and teamkilled by arty in the first minute of the game :( rip me

Yeah, the arties seem to get away with a lot of team damage and team kills without turning blue. I was in a game where both my platoon mate and I got TD'ed by our arty and even when he killed me , he didn't turn blue.

The deadliest and most fun tank WAS the T18, AKA my favourite tank
I think that was the most op tank in the game together with some of the crusaders. Litterally super hard to pen, impossible to pen by almost all "auto guns" of that tier, fast, 1 shot gun what else do you ask for?
what really make a good tank the most deadly tank in the game is the player driving it.

To be honest i don't think these tanks should face tier 8 . And secondly that last map is kinda shit again with little brain usage in design. 2 corridors and middle choke point. Yeah. As a player who mostly plays german tanks i kinda feel this game needs somene accually doing something to balance things out and generally taking player feedback and act accordingly

Wargaming makes money out of imbalance, thats why SO MUCH new stuff is totally out of balance. Imbalance means people burn premium content. It's there by design

I am on the asian server, havent had a single +2/-2 mm match and it is perfect. No more getting destroyed by top tiers, since every match is either all the same tier or an even split of 2.
@@psycosam10 So the question is: why have they not done this on the other servers? It seems to be a simple switch to flip... All the code for it has been written, and it is server side logic, they must simply switch it. They told us almost 6 months ago that they are looking at the match maker, BS! They are milking -2 MM for as long as they can. Just some more smoke and mirrors from wargaming

I would be ok with any rounds on the 183 and 4005 as my premium rounds, cause
1) AP rounds have more pen than some tanks have on their premium rounds
2) HESH
3) HE rounds are better than the Type 5s premium rounds when they were “OP” (the problem with that tank is the armor)

Awesome video! The buffs to the FV4005 were a reason why I plan to grind the line not unly until Tier 8. And I was happy with the Foch rework they did.
Small mistake in your video though - the FV4005 did not replace the FV183. They both existed and then the FV183 got replaced by the Badger.

most hated tanks to play against? Easily the Obj 430U and the Obj 268 v4. Both are OP as you can get and their drivers are always, always, always using HEAT. Hope Wargaming nerf them soon.

I love my 4005, I don't think it's a good tank but the lethality of the 182.9mm gun and it's insane HESH rounds always brings a smile to my face. I can't speak to the quality of the Foch B but I do know that seeing one barreling towards me is always a brown alert moment.
The most dangerous tank is the all mighty tog2 and kv2

The tiger 2 has the same armor as an e50. It's not that bad.

The STB-1 is a great tank, I'm having much more fun and success with it than the Leopard 1 as it is more forgiving due to being smaller. The leopard 1 i found virtually unplayable until I put BIA, Vents, Food and Improved rammer on it. Imo you shouldn't need to put these on any tank just to make it competitive. The Tiger II used to be great with troll armour when angled but yeah in the days of gold spam and so many high pen guns in its tier it is very poor as is the E75 for the same reasons.
I bounce T95 on tiger 2 so it is good xD
The 40mm L7 amo versatility is interesting in "real life" as it is programmable in one of 4 options as it is loaded into the breach. In something like a lightweight bradley at 240 rounds per minute could be something elas in the deadliest ranks... I was a 40mm bofors gun layer in 1963/64 and appreciate its effectiveness at 2 miles against infantry and light troop transport... 4 x2pound grenades per second... the muzzle velocity made the AP rounds effective at penetrating... Never got to experience the latest L7 technology....

if I remember correctly, FV4005 Stage II was introduced while FV215B 183 still in the tec-tree. FV215B 183 was replaced by the FV 217.

The jumbo with the stock turret and derp gun is what I like to play with when I'm not having a good day
The Borsig is a bit of a guilty pleasure, with full camo and view range perks, binocs and a camo net, this tank is better hidden than the bushes are. And with the 128mm, 450 alpha and 250 penetration (310 with APCR), it is a force to be reckoned with.

Tier 1 tanks can pen the FV4005 - it has 14mm of turret armour. :\
scorpion has 1mm of all round armor ...but it has no turret so..

Also the question QB asked, what do we prefer 1750 alpha in one shot or autoloader with ridiculous amount of shells in the magazine, well more often than not you don't have time to unload the magazine into someone because rarely enemy tanks travel alone so you can catch them without support, most often you have to take one big hit and duck into cover before you get splattered by enemy and his arties :P
wargaming do need to re think the OBJ 430U its not fair Great front armour great turret armour great gun IN A Med tank You either have good armour bad gun and mobility or Great gun bad armour not the all in one Bias Pack.

The Obj 430 is the same, amazing tier 9 but no vehicle should make your Wn8 two ranks higher just by driving as you usually do in less op vehicles.
@@frostthehos6512 no your miss understanding Wargaming have made every tank tech tree based on a sering amount of characteristics so every tank is equal to each other no matter what, the fact they gave one tank great frontal armour great mobility great turret armour great gun great view range great overall characteristics now wargaming made sure that a tank with great armour was to have weaker mobility compared to others to balance it great wesker armour is very simple the fact it has all of the great characteristics of what it's not meant to have due to the balance system they have they couldn't be ask to give it equal balance to other medium tanks. No matter what tank it was historically this is a game so keep it fair.

I did that mission with T57, 2 gold clips in the beginning and no problems

In my death star i have 1 shot many tier 10 tanks from full health. The T 57, E4, All of the tier 10 scouts most of the tier 10 meds....... mwahahahahahahaha. If you are not Heshing you are not trying

The head you noticed is also in a couple of other spots on the Cliffs map. Wargaming loves to reuse their images, notice how many times that Himmelsdorf Church appears in other maps, and the fountains, and Statues are very common too.

Just a point of info (no, it doesn't really matter) the FV 4005 came in as a new tier 10 at the top of a new tech tree, it didn't replace the FV 215b 183; that honour fell to the Badger.

I agree at least the JG e-100 is slow af and due to lack of turret can be easily locked down. Having to rush one/being rushed every time a 4005 fires is not fun gameplay.

@@nytracus9680 it also in reality had 120mm of hull armour and was designed on paper to fire 6 rounds per minute, should that be in the game too? At the end of the day every tank in wot is not an exact representation of its real life/planned tank. They have to be nerfed or strengthened to fit in with the other tanks in their tier. If this needs to be in the game they need to expand the game to include tiers 11 or 12 and put this at the top.
FV might be good and all, but when I meet one in my M53/55 I seem to balance out the tank quite well with 1000 dmg shots at it.
I like to sometimes go to tier 3 and derp around with the cruiser 2 and its derp gun. Also fv4005 is the only tank I have ever got 10000 dmg with. Altough it was on a test server
FV4005 ? its like artillery but way more accurate, way more powerfull and can bring the pain even behind mountains... yeah, people where whining about arty before its rework. FV is more punishing and unfun (when you face it) than old arty....

@@terra20209 yeah, he does 1500 dmg to you and you can do 500 to him, and wait 40 sec to reload because your 2 loaders are dead + your ammorack is yellow. it is so much better

Yeah, no they don't. The FV is unbalanced remotely because of its gun depression, while the Foch is very well rounded. Don't be stupid enough to get caught out by it.

KV-1 and KV-1S with the 122mm are my quilty pleasures, but as the turret of the feared KV-2 comes around the corner, I'll start wiggling like hell xD
I was today years old when i realized there is an actual full blown head sitting on that map, the hours spent using that as cover.
I love the Shitbarn, though I call it the 'DC Tank' aka David Copperfield Tank, as it makes all your HP disappear with a click.
Alas, I use my Shitbarn with regular HE shells and still score an average 700-800 dmg per shot and I'm not losing credits, or not much as I don't use premium food nor premium medikit or big repair kit. Auto extinguisher is a must thou.

The FV4005 is my baby! when jingles featured my FV4005 replay way back at the start of the year, it made me so happy, since in that game I oneshotted a JagTiger and an Fv215b 183 *with a little help from fire on both* and ended the match on just over 8k damage with only 6 shots on target... one shell did go to waste on a truck when it was meant for a T-10 but whatever :D

I play 4005 a lot. Usually last game of the night or when I am in a bad mood. A single full pen for 1500+ calms the nerve

I love the Fv4005. Use it when other games are not going well and I just want to send a tank to Mars. Usually makes me feel better haha! Or when there is high damage mission on. Bring out the Fv and HESH lol. Still love my jageroo as tier 10 TD.
I did roll 2050 once in the FV. On japanese t9 heavy.
I only load gold in that Foch. I don't use regular shells at all and play it rarely. Although this is a great game, it's not really broken nor unbalanced unlike WT E100 was. It's not flexible, that's the biggest weakness of the tank.
