The look on peoples faces after that first launch said it all. Still a bit nervous about hurting his pride and joy 😢
Great to watch this final episode of RCN fella's. I think you done a terrific job of giving Mick the opportunity to show N go the Falcon and after such a long journey you all must be stoked and stuffed. I'm a YES for Rocky Nat's if you're all keen for it.
Fantastic coverage of your experience guys. Very well put together. And entertaining
Thanks Tough Garage! Appreciate the kind words 😁
I totally understand not wanting to hurt your car bro..
Give it to it mate
Build a 150k project car with double the power you've ever had before, and zero racing experience and let's see how brave you feel, haha. Mick just needs more seat time mate, it'll come around 👌🏻
@@TorqHub didn’t mean to offend anyone, sure is a nice car I watched the build series, just wanted him to get it off the mark a bit quicker
@@mattcrick2156 no offence taken dude, thats just the reality of it. He would have put me in the seat had I asked, but he won't learn much sitting in the stands. At the end of it all, there's still always one thing more important than any time slip, and that's having fun 👌🏻
Absolutely loved all episodes you've pushed out mate bloody brilliant well done to you all great stuff!
Thanks Bad Q. Burnt the candle at both ends pretty hard, but was worth it 💪🏻
@@TorqHub yeah man can only imagine
We are already entered for Redcenternats next year. If you guys make it to Rockynats we will see you there with Tiny Towing.
hows old mate at the end with the photo bomb attempt too 🤣 he looked so disappointed when he checked back to see if yas noticed haha
no-one noticed but us viewers, i got a giggle out of it, 🤣
I can't hear it stalling up,keep at it boy's
great job, have subscribed, glad you liked my home here in alice
Haha talked you boys into Rocky Nats. Not that you needed much convincing. Big drive though :P
What a great event
It really is mate! Highly recommended!
Tell Mich he needs to get a big F250 next time to go up to Alice so there is more room in the car (So I can come with you guys lol) and those things tow so easy.
Jeff been editing hard over the weekend
Burning the candle at both ends big time! Haha. Worth it to get the vids out to you lot nice and quick 💪🏻
Getting more confident, gotta get it to the track more often old mate! shes not exactly a cheap ride though so i get the hesitation to send it! I don't know if i could contain myself with that much power on tap at a drag strip personally!😁 Wonder what the boost loss was caused by.. seems strange
Yeah, something to be investigated. Didn't have the MSD computer cable handy to check what the ignition cut was set at and see if it was a limiter? But strange to have it happen at 6000rpm both times when we revved it to 7 on the dyno. Also possible it may need a slightly stiffer spring in the bypass valve? Couple of possibilities anyhow.
Belt slip maybe?
Nah it's a toothed belt mate. If it slipped, the belt would be destroyed. I like your out of the box thinking though
Try a bigger vac line to the bov to keep the valve shut at higher boost
Could also be a shitty vac line with a split, I had a braided line inner tube split under the outer braid and it would blow open at high boost
Was definitely a consideration mate! Has a speedflow 200series -4 reference line, but maybe a -6 could be required? Or maybe a slightly stiffer spring in the bypass valve. To be investigated anyhow.
2024 Seems to be a good year to head back to the big red 😉
You could be right, mate! Let's see how we go!
Mick it dosent matter what time you do at the track, the only time that matters is a good time , 👍
Exactly right! So easy to get caught in the hype. But it doesn't matter if you go home with 17sec slips, as long as you have a smile on your face. And you will!
Maad.
So maad
The track seemed like it was lacking traction the weather looked a bit dodgey too,was that a factor fella's ?
Track wasn't fantastic and wouldn't hold a full balls out launch, but not a factor for our case. Mick just needs more seat time. It's like he said in the last video, there's alot more to it than meets the eye
Sweet, don't blame you taking your time sorting the beast out,be good to see it progress 🤘👍
🍺👍🏻👏
