The end of an era! PSI 304 has been SOLD! 😢
It took alot of hard thinking to make the decision whether or not to take the buyer up on their offer but I feel like the decision made has been the right one. What do you think?

How would it be if your little man buys it in 20 years and says, “Dad, I found your car.
Imagine the price inflation 20yrs on considering what they're going for now
fuck now that would be a dream ay :)
Can definitely relate. I sold my ASV VR 5 ltr 5 speed to Jason Waye of tuff mounts after owning it for 22 years. Jason’s old man owned ASV and it was his mum’s daily that she drove to work every day. It’s now getting a bit of a makeover as you can see on his TH-cam channel 👍
Sad to see it go but family first and you will make new memories with the family and the VH.
That quiet.... empty feeling you have after selling a car you love. As if the birds stopped chirping. Every car enthusiast knows this right. Good stuff mate. I think by the sounds of it couldn't have gone to a better home, So thats a relief.
Sorry for your loss, but seeing brads smile said it all, and now onto the SLE 🤘🤠👍
def regretting it but you did a good thing. if it was anyone else then yeah nah i wouldnt have sold it myself but wasnt just anyone, mad respect bro
Awesome story mate, hard decision but all well ends well' all the best from the uk .❤
It was kinda an elephant in the room, taking up space, not getting driven.... But damn it's sad to see it go.
Congratulations to the 'new' owner, wonder if it has had its first wash already 😂
Awesome work, well worth parting ways...
Tbh as soon as I saw sold I figured it'd be to improve funds for the SL/E.
Keen AF to see what comes next
i hate that feeling of "oh no what have i done" then you have to watch it driving away knowing full well there aint shit you can do to reverse what you have just done! i know that feeling all to well because ive done it before myself and have regretted it ever since!
Congratulations to the next generational owner, what a story and thankyou for sharing ❤️
I had a Vs 5.0 series 3 1999 Black ute, bought it from youngs holdens albany highway back in 2009, had it till 2013, it was original, stock 0 mods from factory.....2024 i am kicking myself of selling her, watching this brought back heart ache mate.....feeling your pain in 2024 :(
What a cool story 👌🏻 but I feel ya pain sold my vs ss ute a while ago and the mrs thought i was crazy for getting all glassy eyed when it left💔
hey man I got this ute as a reference of what I want my vs s pac to look like thanks for doing a clean build! car is straight and same colour as mine
I’m struggling with this contemplation as well. A Ute I’ve owned since new that I love & am proud to own…. But, has been mothballed since the beginning of Covid. The funds could help finish my other Ute, and help boost a small business I’ve started. I just can’t wrap my head around parting with it. Not mentioning what everyone that I know would say if I did.
Huge respect for taking the leap mate.
Sometimes we just really need to sit with our thoughts and decide whether or not holding onto that car is enriching our lives. Sure, it's nice to have, and I certainly could have quite happily kept it, but both myself and my family will benefit by letting it go... as much as it hurts for a bit.
Wow never saw that happening, sad time indeed. Time to finish off the slr mate and get the family into her 🤘🏼🇦🇺
what a cool story congrats to the new owner
Mate, best possible situation going to the original family. Once the SLE is done and you see the whole family with ya, it’ll all be worth it ❤
i feel for you brother but new and better things are too come :)
Kind of cool that you didn't end up doing a full build on the ute, it's a nice little package as is and seems like it's gone home! It couldn't have asked for a better foster parent 😋
Good decision all round, mate. You did the right thing. For you and for them. No regrets.
Need more VH/SLE Content! 🤘
You will regret this in the future BUT you gotta do what you gotta do to finish your Dream Car.
Just goes to show the kinda bloke you are bro hit me right in the feels
Cool story bro, your a top man indeed.
Hope ya doing well.
Thanks mate. Hope you're livin your best life over the other side of the Nullarbor, miss you buddy 🍻
Yer I sold my 5L VS ute last year coz I needed 3 seats not 2 ...when the guy took off I heard how awesome it sounded and literally nearly cried. I bought a 5L wagon but shit I still miss the party car everyday😂
Completely understand why it went, and to who. Onwards and upwards with the SL/E now
I know where you're coming from mate. When i became single I had to part with my mint vs ute to get a sedan to carry my daughter and her friends it was hard but I knew it was best 👌🏻
Poor ol' gal. On to new things!
Im not crying, you're crying! Definately gone to the right home Jeff!
Your a good bloke. I understand you letting it go. I reckon we will see another vs/vr ute years down the track, just saying haha
So heartbreaking made me tear up
This is weird. It’s such a similar story to when I said good bye to my VP ute. Almost shed a tear as it left the street. It took us all over WA. The. The kids came along and the ute no longer easily fit in with our needs. Along came the Crewman. (Now onto a second crewman.)The car was so special to me. A few days ago I found in my contacts “bought the ute”. I really want to find out what happened to it. A bit random though. And here you are posting a different version of a similar story. I think about the ute still.
You’re going to think about that car when you’re an old man with a big white beard.
Go on mate, ring the number. And flip us a voicemail with your findings 👌
Click Bait ..... dam you got me😂
What an awesome story happy sad 👍
At least we can still hear the sound byte on the videos..
I sold my VH SLE to the guy who originally built it. I had it from 18 to like 35 and it still hurts... But I've got a HG GTS and HQ stato 350 and other cars to concentrate on. Feel ya pain though
Such a cool story onwards and upwards
A bitter sweet but great story 👍
Sucks to c it go, best get that vh done asap now!!!!
I see your SLE there, need a new video on that 🙂
Fuck im not crying 😭 im not my eyes a sweating 😅
Great story , what life’s all about 👍
The right decision will still be unclear
Good luck to the new owner, what happend to the VY ute? Budget build?
Still got it mate, but we need to get through the backlog first. Have overwhelmed ourselves with projects and we've had to prioritise. But we still want to get to it 💪🏻
Sad day, hope you got good $ for it, you’re gonna regret it but anyway good luck!
Adulting sucks! 1 star! If we could keep them all we would. Bigger and better things mate
Hey random question but why style wheel nuts were you running for these rims? I’m struggling to be satisfied with most I can find as I feel they dig in to the wheels too much if that makes any sense? 😅
Haha yeah I'm picking up what you're putting down. They were just regular auto parts store 'acorn wheel nuts' mate. But they can come in slightly different lengths, so you might need to measure to make sure they suit your wheel studs
@@TorqHub ah yep cheers man yeah I’ve put the ssvs on my vz sv8 I’m just paranoid that because the centres are honed there’s a little play that I’m having to rely a shit tonne on the correct nuts to keep the wheel centered, wasn’t sure if suppose to put like a hub ring or something on there so just wiinging it haha also sorry to be a pain but did you have to roll your guards to lower it with running the ssvs ?
Guards were rolled long before the SSVs went one so couldn't tell you how they fit without rolled guards. But when in doubt, roll em out
So sick those bmx hanging up, will they make it on the channel?
Unfortunately there aren't any real special frames up there. Just something to roll on when I take the kids to the skatepark/pump track, and my son's Haro micro mini. Have been keeping my eye out for a 2000 Mongoose Pro Menace though, and a couple other mid-school bikes of nostalgic relevance. Maybe one day lol
As someone who had the opportunity to buy my mums car when she passed you have no idea what you did to ease Jacob’s bad days when he’s missing his old man.
What a good story to go with it.
His gratitude helps ease my own pain. She will be missed, but it is for the greater good 🤙🏻
Maybe you might want to get yourself another VS Sedan with a V8 motor & 5 speed manual.
So that you can take your kids in the car too.
Regards from William.
The vh will fill those duties in good time Bill, thanks mate!
Probably the hardest thing to do ever
Saying goodbye to a mate?
More like selling off your youngest child to fund a football trip for the eldest 😂
real question is how much u sell it for ?
I will leave that to your imagination, and the opinions of the expert internet evaluators
@TorqHub -_- it would have been atleast 25-30k min. U wouldn't have let it go for any less.
Shouldn’t have done that
Well I come here for the good vibes and now I'm crying. Good on ya.
Commitments suck, but I am so glad it's gone with Brad. They will look after her and you'll still see it around.
Here's to the SL/E mate.
😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
😭😭😭 priorities suck
👍👍👍🧌
Just so you know ,ANYONE who adds a stupid facial expression is clickbaiting.
If it isn't, please explain it to me what it is.?
Just sets the tine for the video. Was I pumped to have sold it? Not really... but why? Well, video tells the story 🤷♂️
But in saying that, you clicked. So it worked 😅
Hope he didnt pay more than 5 grand for it holden V8 what junk.
Good to see you're still around mate. Thanks for stopping by 😘
@@TorqHub
At 7.28 you are parked up next to a white VS.
Is that a sedan and if so, can you see the rego on your original vid ?
It looks suspiciously like my old VS that I sold back in 2017 after 19 years of custodianship.
When was the last time you saw a vs 5 litre in that condition for less than 5 grand let alone a supercharged one do your research before saying something like that 🤦🏼♂️
@vs5.063 that is Kurt's VR BT1. That build is also here on our channel 🤙🏻
sad 😔 too see 👀 it go I would have not sold it 8
Jacob slams the clutch in second eating a kebab loses control hits a pole , fortunately Jacob was alright and the kebab stayed in tact,
