- In this powerful Divine Discourse delivered by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba during the Sri Sathya Sai Padhuka Mahotsavam on October 1, 1999, Swami speaks about the importance of translating one's love for God in the form of virtues which are the hallmark of a true human being. He describes six of these virtues that make one dear to God as stated in the Bhagavad Gita. Swami addresses the youth in particular, warning them about the dangers of criticizing others, wasting time in frivolous activities, forgetting God in the pursuit of worldly friends, and feeling a sense of shame to publicly sing the Lord's name or engage in service. Reminding us about the unique greatness and fortune of a human birth, He advises us to utilize this opportunity wisely in cultivating divine thoughts, undertaking noble deeds, and offering our body, mind, and heart to the Lord as true worship. Through engaging stories and even hints of humor, this discourse is bound to capture the mind, enchant the heart, and inspire us to be our best selves.
Koti Pranaams to the entire team for uploading the video.
All would be benefitted to listen to Sweet voice of Swami.
Let us recall to our memory the beautiful ever green song which runs: "Sarvam Sai-mayam Jagat Sarvam Sai-mayam".
Let us remind every now and then that we are part and parcel of Divinity; and everything visible and invisible is verily the Devine itself.
We are all fortunate to continue to have Darshan, Sparshan and Sambashan even after the Avatar has physically left us.
Sai Ram.
