Blue Devils’ Rally Falls Short Against Magics
∙ Ty Hurst connected with Collin Dixon on a pair of fourth-quarter TDs, but Tallmadge never led in the second half of a 34-28 setback to Barberton.
∙ Hurst was only 13-of-36 passing but finished with 309 yards and three scores and Dixon had seven catches for 220 yards and all three scores.
∙ Beau Gromley collected 21 tackles and Zander Hopkins made eight stops for the Blue Devils, who dropped to 7-3. They are the 11th seed in Region 9 and play at sixth seed Steubenville on Friday.
