Most things in science have turn around times of decades. I think highlighting lack of progress in certain fields will make people have a GoFundMe kind of vibe when looking at research, and they will think that all research must pan out when in fact much of the hardship of science is that most research does not pan out and research that does is not foreseen in advance as being the most promising subject.

Thank you for this video. For the records, yes it was Frank Wilczek who termed it Anyon. However it was originally a paper called “On the theory of identical particles” by Jon Magne Leinaas and Jan Myrheim in the 70’s who addressed this first. This paper however groundbreaking, didn’t received any immediate attention from the elite physicist community, so Jon Magne sent a letter to Franc Wilczek who got mindblowned by what he read and wrote several articles which in turn made it contemporary with Anyons. And the rest is history.
There must be a point where it is what is is, and is imposible to really know when we reached everything that there is to know, specially when we are starting to push the laws of physics really hard and this was only posible because we literaly put electrons on a 2 dimensional space which is kinda crazy

The snowflake reference awakened an idea towards fractal engineering. If we used fractals, with small motors and gears, you could massively, or exponentially, increase output with minimal input. It may be difficult for some to grasp, but this would put us on the level of Ironman Infinity War. He's probably just using chroma key to edit his videos. Likely a white background so the white glasses get caught up in the composite.
