Making Insanely Difficult Selections Like Trees Using Alpha Channel in Photoshop

- Make crazy selections no matter how precise they are using channels in Photoshop. In this video, we'll learn how to replace skies by utilizing channels for mask information and select detailed objects like grass and trees or even hair very simply.
This method of making selections is like the last resort. When nothing works, be it "Select and Mask" or "Select Color Range", channels are powerful sources of creating masks to make that selection. This can be done by creating an alpha channel which is additional channel besides RGB or CMYK to hold complex masking information.
Along the way, while we replace skies, we'll also look into some tips and tricks on matching the skies with the image.

He doesn't assume you already know how to do anything in photoshop, always explaining every step of the process, and the why of it, but not in a way that would bore a seasoned user. you are an awesome (and imho, the BEST) instructor of Photoshop!!! Many video teachers are way too slow...you cover so much and explain so much in a very reasonable amount of time. Sometimes, if you go too fast, I just move the time back a few seconds and i can hear it again! But I'd rather hear a lot of info compacted in a wonderful few minutes than listen to a slooow explanation of so little: blah, blah, blah, blah... oh how that makes my head hurt! lol! I always go to your videos first, and that's usually all i need. Thank YOU!!! (caps = not shouting, just used for emphasis, lol :) )
