You have no idea how special this movie meant to me. Ever since I first saw the trailers for the movie, I knew that this movie was made for me. I call it my spirit movie because of how deep it touched me within my soul. This movie entirely represents me as a person. As I was crying in the theatre, I couldn't help but howl AOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU with all the animals.
Encouraging points and facts that make us believe there will be not only 1 sequel but at least a whole series/franchise 1- lots of Dreamworks movies these days are franchises/multiple parts, the most prominent ones I can think of off the top of my head being How to Train your Dragon, Puss in Boots, Shrek and Kung Fu Panda all having at MINIMUM 3 parts to their franchises 2- the books this movie is based off of comes in a trilogy meaning there's obviously 2 more books to draw material from 3- as he said in the video, the movie itself does set up a sequel very nicely within the movie 4- IMO, and from personal experience, I've never seen a Dreamworks movie that flopped so I highly believe that this will absolutely have sequels like FFS this movie made me CRY- and I haven't cried at a movie in a long time! LONG time! (happy tears I STG)

Eh? Why would they adapt the sequel to the first book? This movie was their version of the first and partially the second book. Also, they definitely should scrap any potential romance with a fox. It's weird and ruins the innocent motherly feel of the movie.
