Recently I started growing up beards (since Ramadan 2020) and my beard does the same thing to me your hijab does to you - reminding of Allah and Islam constantly and keeping me consistent on the deen Subhan'Allah! Since then until today I have been feeling strongly attached to the deen and I hope I can continue this way (or even better than this) until my last breath insha'Allah. Quick question-and this might sound totally crazy, but I have to ask: Did you ever happen to post videos on TH-cam BEFORE you reverted? I know I probably sound out of my mind, but you look soo familiar to someone I came across on TH-cam a couple of years back. She looked exactly like you and had very few subscribers (and I think her name was Ashley-my memory fails me.) But Wallahi you and her look like twins. But the thing that stuck with me (hence why after seeing your videos I remembered her) was that I remember seeing a video of her talking about Christmas or Easter (or maybe both?-don’t recall 100%) and I remember asking Allah to guide her to Islam. (You can probably see now why I was so curious to know if you were her, haha! 🙂) Then-either before or after making the dua’-I recall seeing a video of her talking about being depressed. That really got to me for whatever reason. I hope Allah brings her to the truth so that she may feel peace at heart. P.S. I sometimes find myself having a soft spot for people who still cling on to some form of religion, given the unprecedented rise of atheism we’re witnessing. It’s kind of ironic (and probably would be funny if it weren’t so sad) that although the many in the “bible-belt” hate me, a Muslim, with majority supporting Trump’s so-called “Muslim Ban”, I-as a Muslim-empathize MORE with the people of the south and mid-west America because of their conservative values. My heart is softer for the conservative Americans because they still hold on to their faith in Allah, and their conservative values, at its core, stem from the rulings taught in the Bible-which are, for the most part, in line with Islamic code of conduct (obviously the original Bible is from the same Allah who blessed us with the Quran). In contrast, Europe has completely abandoned religion, with more and more Churches permanently closing every year, and most people there have forgotten Allah. I find it heartwarming that even though the western countries have left religion and forgotten Allah, a large portion of America-with all its faults-have held on to Allah in some form. It just saddens me that they think we are the enemies, and that Muslims are here to destroy America. In reality, if they could just let go of their unfounded hatred towards Muslims, We muslims would have been their strongest allies in this changing times. In a world where religion is at threat, we Muslims are the only other group of people defending the Christian values and code of conduct that many Americans hold. If they only knew! 🥺

I know I probably sound out of my mind, but you look soo familiar to someone I came across on TH-cam a couple of years back. She looked exactly like you and had very few subscribers (and I think her name was Ashley-my memory fails me.) But Wallahi you and her look like twins.

The young lady looked a lot like you. But the thing that stuck with me (hence why after seeing your videos I remembered her) was that I remember seeing a video of her talking about Christmas or Easter (or maybe both?-don’t recall 100%) and I remember asking Allah to guide her to Islam. (You can probably see now why I was so curious to know if you were her, haha! 🙂) Then-either before or after making the dua’-I recall seeing a video of her talking about being depressed. That really got to me for whatever reason. I hope Allah brings her to the truth so that she may feel peace at heart.
P.S.
I sometimes find myself having a soft spot for people who still cling on to some form of religion, given the unprecedented rise of atheism we’re witnessing. It’s kind of ironic (and probably would be funny if it weren’t so sad) that although the many in the “bible-belt” hate me, a Muslim, with majority supporting Trump’s so-called “Muslim Ban”, I-as a Muslim-empathize MORE with the people of the south and mid-west America because of their conservative values. My heart is softer for the conservative Americans because they still hold on to their faith in Allah, and their conservative values, at its core, stem from the rulings taught in the Bible-which are, for the most part, in line with Islamic code of conduct (obviously the original Bible is from the same Allah who blessed us with the Quran).
In contrast, Europe has completely abandoned religion, with more and more Churches permanently closing every year, and most people there have forgotten Allah. I find it heartwarming that even though the western countries have left religion and forgotten Allah, a large portion of America-with all its faults-have held on to Allah in some form. It just saddens me that they think we are the enemies, and that Muslims are here to destroy America. In reality, if they could just let go of their unfounded hatred towards Muslims, We muslims would have been their strongest allies in this changing times. In a world where religion is at threat, we Muslims are the only other group of people defending the Christian values and code of conduct that many Americans hold. If they only knew! 🥺
