Batoning and feathersticks with Jääkäripuukko 140 & Peltonen Sissipuukko m95.

Sorry for the bad angels, lol. Im new at this. But I hope you still get some feel how these knives could perform.
The name of the channel comes from the fact that I live near one of the biggest inhabitat forest areas in southernmost Finland. It practically starts right at my garden. With wolfs, lynxes, bears, eagles etc. (Just four days ago was a wolf in our garden.

I think, I will order the Peltonen M95, I like the longer blade.
I love Finnish knives, I have knives and leukus from Iisakki Jaarvenpaa, Martiini and Wood-Jewel.
You live in a beautiful country !
I have made a journey with my motorcycle, from Hanko in the south to Inari in the North, in august 2003 with nice weather and no mosquitos, it was fantastic !
In Rovaniemi, I visited the Martiini factory, very interesting.

The Peltonen m95 is awesome! Im also tad biased as I know Peltonen, he lives in the same village as I do (Fiskars). Will do an interview with him at some point.

Oh wow, what an awesome trip you made (im envious). Nice, Marttiini factory also, never visited that! God I miss Inari Lake , was supposed to go there this summer for fishing, but just too much in life at the moment

Hmm.. Oikeastaan en osaa sanoa. Kummallakin hyvät puolet. Jääkäripuukko ehdottomasti parempi puhtaana Bushcraft veitsenä; tekee paremmin kiehiset, halkoo puuta (batoning) yms. Sissipuukko parempi puhtaasti yleispuukkona, jokapaikan höylänä. Leikkaavampi tuo Saber grind, esim. Metsästys/kalastus ja ruoan pilkkomis hommissa. Kummassakin hyvät kahvat ja loistavat tupit.
