Just bought an R242...its being built in your factory. Noticed that there is a new Yamaha F300 with features from the XTO engine incorporated into it. Any ETA on when that will be integrated into the R242? I'd rather pay the premium upgrade now instead of using an old motor!
This is a great video. I don't think they monitor these pages, sadly. I would prefer this 230 over your R242 but I struggle with these live wells under the seats. This boat needs one under/behind the helm seat (like your 242?) or in the corner of the transom like the Sea Fox 248 Commander. I'd like to buy a Robalo over the Commander because the hull design and weight is ideal. Better dead rise and 1000lbs more overall weight make the Robalo a winner.
@@robwithrbk i gotta be honest. I'm lost dude with where you are going. I prefer a quad engine setup on one of those incredible boats from florida. I dont give a crap if you buy a Robalo. I have a list of stuff they messed up on. But it is what it is. Until I can drop 3 or 4 million on a boat...this has been good for the few months that I've had it.
@@mjethier I think we'd all prefer a monster boat like you're mentioning, but for my waters in San Diego, we really only need a 23/24ft. All I'm saying is I don't like the bait tank set up on this 230 versus the R242. Or if you look up the Sea Fox Commander 248, it has a nice live well set up as well. I've met a lot of boat owners who bought several different boats new and had some things the dealer needed to work out.
