Since 4-man scaling is absurd and matchmaking is bad, solo makes it easier at least with the total shield/hp you have to deal with... KEKW #thefirstdescendant
The boss is definitely doable, just takes ALOT of investment in your Mods before you can tackle this boss without struggling and I don't feel like Normal should be like that. HARD absolutely should be a big Sweat, but Normal mode should be purely introduction to the mechanic, you kind of do it and keep on going (for story sake). But like expecting me to farm 500k Currency to upgrad mods and another 10 hours for Level Resets just to get past this is pretty crazy.
I do agree. I think I've clocked in 5hrs or so into this mf, then I found myself getting gatekept into my desired progress. I've done plenty of optimization alr and been hearing out from CCs that soloing might easen up the dps requirement.
Did it in less than an hour with freya and rank 9 shield + some def skills and a cold poison 69k tamer killed it with some time remaining too, awful boss but such joy when u finally kill it Also shooting it from afar for no flamethrower was the way to go for me
Wouldnt ice do more than toxic? Gonna try this solo because everyone keeps using up the death count before we kill it, thanks for sharing👍my Bunny is only level 33 right now and weapons around 62
I agree, at 4-man the boss' hp scales too high for a normal difficulty raid (unless devs mean it to be like this?), the DPS uptime requirement to accomplish this in >3 players is just sweaty for a MSQ progression. Edit: ofc not unless there's already a well-built descendant that carries, but for a standard equal progression matchmake, I don't see most clearing it in a casual fashion.
They problem for me at the moment with Ajax is just the freaking timer. Don't see the point in that on normal mode. I'm trying my best on pugs, don't die, keep shields and tanking the damage, but I'm still on it. It's hard but because of stupid timers
In this run, for descendant modules, mainly were just INCREASE HP, DEF, SHIELD, FIRE RES, then the rest can go to whatever you'd like. Weapon modules, can be any that suggests damage, may it be through crits or weak points (but sometimes accuracy do help for uptime?). Though, I don't mainly run with these modules. It's just that this boss has absurd patterns that even dodge rolls can't handle and it's annoying (not much I-frame for that spinning fire ball). Yep, not a smart way to spend resource on defensive modules but I just want to be done with it...
Ridiculous. Normal mode story fights should not be like this. I haven't even fought these bosses yet, but seeing all these is just putting me off of playing. The devs need to fix this game immediately.

@@majula1518 I had 75k DPS and wasn't dying. Timer ran out and that was the big issue of this fight. I managed to get it after 9 hours in though

finding this boss super hard atm
He's super strong to fire arms, so you have to use characters who have strong skills, like jaybird turrets or bunny running, ect

Guys for anyone that sees this you have spam abilities on him he has a 90 dr against all weapon dmg that’s why it seems so hard
Once you know how to beat him it’s easy I beat him in 3 minutes already and the less people the less health he has also
